2 teen murder suspects arrested after ‘botched’ Largo robbery kills 1 adolescent, injures another
LARGO, Fla. – Two teens are facing felony murder charges after Largo police say one juvenile was killed and another was injured in a ‘botched’ robbery early Monday morning.
According to the Largo Police Department, several people called 911 shortly after midnight to report shots fired in the area of 126th Avenue and 66th Street.
When officers arrived, they found 17-year-old Carlos Medina outside an apartment complex suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to an area hospital where he died.
Nearby, officers with the Pinellas Park Police Department found another teen shooting victim and a gun. He was taken to an area hospital and is expected to survive his injuries.
Before the shooting took place, Largo Police Chief Mike Loux said Carlos Medina’s sister, 15-year-old Thalia Medina, had been hanging out with the victim and a group of teens that were traveling between the Charleston Apartment complex on 66th Street and the parking lot of SkyZone Trampoline Park, also located on 66th Street.
According to Loux, Thalia Medina was in contact with her brother and his friend, 15-year-old Jonathan Garcia, telling them the group’s location.
The goal, according to Loux, was for Carlos Medina and Garcia to rob another teen of a gun he was carrying.
Shortly after midnight, Largo police say the pair confronted the victim and a shootout ensued.

We could ask “where are the parents?”, but let’s face it, the moms are likely just waiting for that next check while the dads probably checked out after their sperm deposits.
I’ve tried to teach their cousins in prison. Dad is not in the picture (often in prison or dead), Mom is spreading her knees to any and all, they are all dealing and using drugs and they all see this as normal and right.
To them, this is just the way the world is.
Damn kids…playing stoopid games…and losing!
Billy Ray is suffering from more than an achy breaky heart today. Looks like he methed up taking his knife to a gun fight.
Vlad, our joe has taken your lessons to heart just as your joe did.
Anyone else notice there seems to be a theme this week on the gunz pr0n? Anyone one else feelz the love that our Beloved AW1Ed has for The Gun Bunny radiating out? HMS, JMB, (HBHN)…grins!
Poor Billy Ray.
He traveled all the way from Denver to North Carolina, just to be shot in the ass (and a few other places) and end up in jail.
Billy Ray Galloway went that-o-way.
