Man arrested in connection with shooting in Claremont charged with burglary
Police say resident shot one of two men who broke into apartment

Marissa Tansino
MANCHESTER, N.H. —
A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting Monday night in Claremont, but police said he’s not the person who pulled the trigger.

Kody Bardin, 29, of Claremont, was charged with robbery, burglary, criminal threatening and simple assault.

Police said Bardin and another man broke into an apartment on Trinity Street and began assaulting one of the residents. Another occupant, a 21-year-old man, told police he went to the kitchen to see what was happening, and he saw the two men who allegedly broke in, one of them armed with a gun.

The resident said he saw the burglar raise his gun, but he was armed with his own pistol and fired two rounds, striking the burglar in the chest.

The charge against Ms. Engerman is a bit, ah, optimistic?

Police: Man shot after fleeing from police, breaking into home in Fort Lauderdale

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A man was shot Monday morning after fleeing from police in Fort Lauderdale and then breaking into a home through a window, authorities said.

According to Fort Lauderdale police, officers attempted to pull over a “felony vehicle from Miami” around 3:30 a.m., but the driver fled from officers.

Police said a pursuit ensued and the suspect bailed out of the vehicle about 10 minutes later in the 2900 block of Northwest 20th Street.

“With the assistance of the FLPD K9 and Broward Sheriff’s Office Aviation Unit, we never lost a visual on the suspect,” the police department said in an email to Local 10 News.

Police said the driver was eventually spotted entering a home in the area through a window.

A short time later, officers heard the sound of gunshots.

Ladies and gentlemen….

A West Hartford man has been indicted on charges in connection to a multi-state scheme defrauding Home Depot of nearly $300,000.

The U.S. Department of Justice said 26-year-old Alexandre Henrique Costa-Mota faces charges for conspiracy and wire fraud. Officials say he’s accused of defrauding Home Depot of approximately $297,332 in eight states.

Court documents show that between June 2021 to February 2022, Costa-Mota executed non-receipted return fraud schemes at more than two dozen stores located primarily in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He also stole from locations in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maine and Maryland.

This guy was ‘making’ $33,000 a month?!

Dayum, I’m getting ideas…

Another immigrant that was only wanting to commit the fraud that Americans did want to?

Very good examples of piss poor decision making skilz. Fornicate about and discover!

Way yonder too many are ignorant of how close we are to not being free.

Everybody knows that the 10mm is the FIRST (ht2 the Chipster) tool to become lost. And a rather spendy one, too.

Escort duty on the DA Form 6 for the Gun Bunny again today.

Years ago, I knew a guy who defrauded Walmart regularly by buying furniture (bookcases and such), removing half the contents, exchanging them for a complete set, making another return of an “open box” missing contents, then returning the complete set, essentially getting whatever furniture for free. Needless to say, my acquaintance with him was brief, especially after I found out about his criminal activity.

Such thieves only drive-up prices for those of us who actually spend our hard-earned money on products, and–nearly as bad–make things extremely inconvenient. I went through a phase where I was making impulse buys on power tools. If something was on clearance or sale, or if I needed a tool for the flipper home, I bought it. Back then, most Lowe’s and Home Depots were grab, pay, and go. Nowadays I don’t even bother because nearly everything is locked up behind a cage. There are few tools I need, so even if something is 75% off it isn’t worth the hassle of finding an employee and being escorted to the register.

I absolutely despise a thief. No matter what or who they are stealing from. My final ex wife would go to Wally World buy up a bunch of stuff on the debit card and then take it to another Wally World store for a cash refund. Busted her on it led to me getting accused of felony domestic violence charges, locked up for 3 nights and 4 days. Charges were dismissed, divorce finally granted and I have lived very well in the past 17 years since.

Valor Thieves are the most despicable of all of them.

Maybe one day I can replace the firearms I lost in the tragic boat accident. I’m guessing it’s about a 10 hour drive to your place for me. Is there a TAH Family discount? Could go for some of that Cajun food too. Ironically we got married in Naw’lins.

The HD by me has damn near everything over $100 in the tool crib behind cage and/or ‘spider wrapped’.

I love living in a low-trust society full of criminals who abuse all of us put theft and violence.

Part of me hope the time will come when the crims are to be reminded…

10mm long slide in 1911….now THERE is a hand howitzer for da Gun Bunny.

10mm is next on my list of “to buy” guns. Probably an M&P since I don’t own any S&W semi-autos, but maybe an FN 510 or even a SIG. I sit here with a couple of thousand guns to my back, and quite a few in 10mm, so the impulse is always there. Never owned a 10mm (heard the 9mm is 10% less powerful, much like .22 is half as powerful a .44?) but one will be in the safe before long.

It will be awhile before I start a gun & ammo buying spree again.
Need to finish paying off the mortgage, save up for a couple of months after that, THEN I can go to town like a drunken grunt.
Hopefully by that time I can afford the guns & ammo….if that are any in the marketplace.

9mm is more like 300+ fpe at best, 10mm is 11-1300 fpe. Essentially about 65% less, not 10.

10mm is also an outstanding caliber for a carbine.

The FBI adopted 10 mm handguns and submachine guns after many of their agents were wounded or killed in that Miami shootout because of use of .38 caliber revolvers. But the FBI abandoned the 10 mm because their women agents could not handle the recoil and extra weight. Just another example of lowering the bar for the females.
