Fox 5 DC is pretty thorough in describing the suspects’ gender, clothing, weapons and vehicles. Something is missing, can’t place it.
Armed Las Vegas worker stopped likely mass shooter in his tracks but received little attention: expert
A suspect in Las Vegas was seen in an apartment complex wearing a helmet and carrying an ‘AR-15 style rifle’
By Emma Colton | Fox News
A gunman wearing a helmet and carrying an “AR-15 style rifle” was caught on camera at the entrance of an upscale Las Vegas apartment complex before an armed employee of the building opened fire and stopped him in his tracks.Questions on how the incident played out remained unanswered for days as media coverage was minimal despite the worker having foiled what appeared to be a mass shooting attempt, Heritage Foundation senior legal fellow Amy Swearer claimed.
“Normally when you have some sort of video like this, especially when it’s what appears to be an active shooting situation, that’s something that makes national news. I’ve never seen that not pick up steam of some sort,” Swearer told Fox News Digital.
“What’s bizarre here is the hand waving, ‘Nothing to see here. Move along, folks,’” Swearer continued.
At about 3:15 pm Friday, June 23, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department received a call regarding a shooting at Turnberry Towers Las Vegas, which is located about a 10-minute walk from the Strip.
The suspect, identified as Andrew Warrender, walked toward the main lobby of the apartment complex at 3:13 p.m., according to the arrest report citing surveillance footage, and allegedly shot his weapon at an employee. He attempted to fire another shot but appeared to have a malfunction. He aimed his weapon again at the employee, but no bullet was discharged.
Warrender then walked toward the front entrance to leave the apartment complex, but was shot by the employee.

A good guy with a gun stops a potential tragedy and MSM yawns. Imagine the coverage had Mr. Warrender been even remotely successful in attaining whatever his goal was. Thanks to our own Gun Bunny and Hack Stone for the inspiration and links today.

French Media Reports Vigilante Gang Zip-Tying Rioters And Handing Them to Police
OLIVER JJ LANE
The existence of a masked gang of young men tying up rioters in one town is discussed in French language publications, but the mayor insists no such thing exists and tells locals to call the police if they witness unrest.Witness accounts of a so-called “brigade anticasseur” (anti-thug brigade) in the port town of Lorlent, Brittany are reported by local newspaper Le Télégramme. In addition to what is reported by members of the public to the paper, a journalist for the publication claims to have seen a group of between 20 and 30 “young, hooded men” wearing balaclavas and gloves performing unofficial arrests.
Using zip-ties to restrain alleged rioters, the men are said to have then handed their captures onto the regular police on Friday night as well as having been seen putting out fires. Described as strongly physically built, fast-moving, and proceeding in a tightly-packed group, a report in Ouest France says one member of the group told a journalist that he couldn’t reveal their identities but that “we are on the good side” and that the group was a spontaneous meeting of friends to protect the city-centre.
The paper claims to have witnessed the group arresting a rioter thought to have vandalised a local business, restraining the individual with “visibly well-honed technique”, as well as punching a rioter in the face.

I admire the anti-thugs’ forbearance. I also admired Los Angles Korean storekeepers’ practicality.
Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage.

Somebody was likely tipped off about the possibility of a truck robbery. Forewarned is forearmed.
Someone in western NC shot a NCHP trooper who was assisting someone broken down. Trooper was struck in the bullet proof vest; he returned fired killing bad guy. See https://www.wral.com/story/trooper-shot-while-helping-stranded-driver-near-asheville-returns-fire-killing-man/20939556/.
Well done, Trooper Dunlap.

Progressive shithole. NC should trade it to Virginia for anything of value.
F*ck ’em.
Fighting back is good…being proactive in your fighting back is even better. Bringing any and every weapon to bear…even if its only zip ties and fugly firearms. Why does my suspicious mind feel that our Beloved AW1Ed is a’fixin’ to subject us to a plethora of fugly pieces? At least the FP-45 is made of metal and in God’s Caliber, so there is that.
The msm IS suppressing self defense stories by citizens. Nearly 2 million cases a year of citizens fighting back and we have to dig real deep to come up with a coupla of them day? C’mon, man!…and God Save The Queen.
Wonder how SA would re-act to a new neck tie? Instead of a 4 overhand knot, it could be a 13 knot. Have rope…Will travel.
Ever since the Armored car industry was de regulated, 2 person Armored car crews popped up all over the place. I started back in 1970-2007 in NYC and we used 3 man crews untill the de regulation but we still used 3 man crews untill a number of years later. I worked ground for awhile and drove a van with 2 other guys to do ATM cash replenish where one did the cash replenishment and the other hit the wall and watched for any trouble. We did have an ATM robbery where the guard wasn’t on the ball. Down here in Florida, one person I see does the Publix store and the ATM machine.
Need more info: was the thwarted mass shooter Uslim-May, or Ansgender-Tray?
Good job by the Frenchies. Too bad, those vigilante cases will all be thrown out for lack of evidence.
Ansgedertray. His new name gives it away—“Kimbrady.”
Maybe the Frenchies should go full vigilante and give the zip-tied ones to the gendarmes already tried, convicted, (and executed).
(in French): “oops, he tried to escape and (fell his neck/heart on a knife/fell his head on the stones) one too many times. oh well.” (Gallic shrug)
