Drunken mistake leads to ‘embarrassing’ hospital visit

A 47-year-old man was left in extreme pain and needed surgery after he inserted a water-glass into his rectum.

The Nepalese man arrived at the emergency department admitting the object had been inside him for three days.

Initially, the man said it had happened by accident before revealing he had inserted the glass himself for sexual gratification while intoxicated, according to the Journal of Nepal Medical Centre.

The man hadn’t had a bowel movement in two days, but was able to pass wind, and he had no bleeding but was in a lot of pain.

The man said he had tried to remove the glass himself but failed.

After an X-ray was done, doctors tried to remove it but couldn’t get a grasp on the glass as it was inverted.

Medical staff then performed an exploratory laparotomy, which is a surgery to open up the abdomen.

At that point, they attempted to move the glass out by “milking” or squeezing the lower intestine.

“Milking was attempted to deliver the glass through the anus, but this was unsuccessful as the glass was high up, inverted and tightly wedged,” the journal explained.

“Hence sigmoid enterostomy was done and the glass was extracted.”

An enterostomy is the surgical incision into an intestine, allowing doctors direct access to the glass.

The man remained in hospital for seven days recovering from the incident.

And two months later, at a follow-up appointment, doctors said he was well and had fully recovered.

The most common reasons for an object inserted into the anus is sexual gratification.

Common symptoms are abdominal pain, constipation and rectal bleeding.

Typically, people try to remove the object themselves several times before turning up to the hospital out of embarrassment.

Man with cartful of stolen goods walks out of Lacey Target store to find officer outside

A man is in jail after he was found with a stolen car containing stolen merchandise over the weekend, according to Lacey Police.

A Lacey Police officer found a stolen car in the parking lot of the Target store. While she was outside with the car, another officer went inside the store to get surveillance video.

Meanwhile, a man inside the store walked out with a shopping cart full of stolen merchandise, according to Lacey Police. When he saw the officer waiting at the stolen car, he ran away but was eventually taken into custody.

Police said the man refused to give his name or any information but told officers that he had just taken fentanyl. He was taken to the hospital, where he identified himself. Police then discovered the suspect is from Federal Way and had a felony arrest warrant for possession of a stolen vehicle.

The man was also on electronic home monitoring but had cut off his ankle monitor, Lacey Police said in a Facebook post.

When officers searched the stolen car, they found more items that had been stolen from Target. Police said the man had stolen items from a Target store in Olympia earlier that day.

The stolen car was recovered and more than $2,000 worth of merchandise was returned to both Target stores.

Once the man was released from the hospital, he was booked into jail for possession of a stolen vehicle and felony theft.

Wayne State suspends professor over social media post allegedly advocating violence

Wayne State University has suspended a professor who allegedly posted on social media that people would be justified in killing those with whom they have disagreements, according to a note to the university from President Roy Wilson.

The university became aware of the post Monday morning, Wilson said in his email. The professor, whose identity was not revealed, works in the university’s English department. A university spokeswoman declined further comment.

“The post stated that rather than ‘shouting down’ those with whom we disagree, one would be justified to commit murder to silence them,” Wilson wrote. “We have on many occasions defended the right of free speech guaranteed by the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, but we feel this post far exceeds the bounds of reasonable or protected speech. It is, at best, morally reprehensible and, at worst, criminal.

“We have referred this to law enforcement agencies for further review and investigation. Pending their review, we have suspended the professor with pay, effective immediately.”

The Free Press was unable to reach the professor for comment.

In the post attributed to him, the professor writes about “free speech on campus.” The Free Press confirmed with two sources that the post was the one being scrutinized. The sources spoke on the condition of anonymity because they had not been cleared to talk to the media about the matter.

“Although I do not advocate violating federal and state criminal codes, I think it is far more admirable to kill a racist, homophobic or transphobic speaker than it is to shout them down,” the post says.

It goes on to say that “right-wing” groups invite speakers to campuses to provoke a reaction from left-wing groups.

“The protesters get blamed instead of the bigoted speaker; the university administration finds a perfect excuse to side publicly with the racists or phobes; the national and international press has a field day saying that bigots are the ones being oppressed, rather than the people those bigots actually hate being the victims of oppression.”

The post then cites Sholem Schwarzbard, a Jewish, Russian-born French poet, who in 1926 assassinated Symon Petliura, the former head of the Ukrainian People’s Republic. Schwarzbard, who had lost his family in the 1919 pogroms, held Petliura responsible for the deaths and killed Petliura on a Paris street.

“Remember that Schwarzbard was acquitted by a jury, which found his actions justified,” the post concludes.

Texas 911 Dispatcher Suspended After Husband Catches Her Sexting 7 Cops

A Texas police dispatcher named Krystle Perez has been suspended from her position.

This comes after her husband, Giancarlo Perez, found evidence that she had been sexting with seven officers, including two with whom she was involved in affairs.

The investigation by her boss is also looking into whether some of these activities took place while she was on duty. Krystle Perez, who worked as an overnight dispatcher at the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office in San Antonio, is currently on unpaid leave.

According to KABB, Sgt. Renaldo Salinas and Deputy Juan Leal, along with Perez, have been suspended and could face termination over the scandal.

Sheriff Javier Salazar told KABB that their conduct was found to be severe enough during the investigation to warrant proposed terminations.

“Their conduct apparently according to the investigation was found to be egregious enough to where we would issue those proposed terminations,” Sheriff Javier Salazar told KABB.

Deputy Jason Jarvis has been proposed a 30-day suspension, while his wife, Jessica Jarvis, is reportedly divorcing him after he admitted to having an affair with Perez.

Jessica Jarvis told KABB: “These are people that are supposed to be protecting us, serving and making sure the community is safe and instead they’re busy setting up affairs, they’re busy setting up appointments to basically have sexual relations.”

According to Giancarlo Perez, he was responsible for discovering the explicit messages between his wife and six Bexar County deputies, as well as an officer from the City of Converse Police Department.

KABB reported that Perez shared some of the messages with them, but they were deemed too explicit to share publicly.

Following the scandalous Maegan Hall scandal at the La Vergne Police Department in Tennessee, this similarly incident has emerged in San Antonio.

An investigation conducted internally revealed that Maegan Hall, a 26-year-old married police officer, engaged in sexual activities with six other police officers.

As a result of the scandal, Hall and five other police officers lost their jobs, while three others were suspended.

Colorado Attorney Suspended After Sending Sex Tape of Woman He was Having Affair with to Her Husband After Break-Up

A former Colorado Springs public defender will be suspended from practicing law for 90 days after he sent a sexually explicit video of a woman with whom he’d had an affair to her husband when the affair ended, according to state disciplinary records.

Attorney Christopher Melichar, 41, began the six-month affair with the married woman in August 2020, while he was working as a public defender, according to the disciplinary records obtained by The Denver Post.

During the affair, the woman sent Melichar nude photos of herself, and he also filmed her during sexual encounters, though she later told Melichar she did not consent to the recordings because she was too intoxicated to do so.

After the affair ended, Melichar threatened to send the sexually explicit photos and videos to the woman’s husband, according to the records. At one point he texted her that she “needs to earn everything. I have videos,” according to the records. When the woman refused to continue the sexual relationship, Melichar sent sexually explicit content to her husband.

The husband alerted police in April 2021, and Melichar was arrested. He pleaded guilty to posting a private image for harassment, a misdemeanor. He was sentenced to two years of supervised probation in January.

Melichar’s attorney, Adam Ray Yoast, said Melichar and the woman have since reconciled and are having a child together. “We believe it’s a fair resolution under the circumstances, given that this was a first-time offense and that the victim and Mr. Melichar have made amends and are moving forward with having a child together,” Yoast said.

Presiding Disciplinary Judge Bryon Large, who oversees professional discipline for attorneys, on Thursday approved an agreement between Melchar and the Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel that Melichar be disciplined with a one-year and one-day suspension of his law license, with all but 90 days of the suspension waived as long as he successfully completes three years of professional probation. The 90-day suspension will begin May 11, according to the disciplinary records.

Fyrfighter

Interesting how the cops and dispatcher are suspended without pay (and rightfully so) after consensual sexual encounters, but the professor is suspended WITH pay after advocating for violence..

Didn’t the dems say something about such encounters when it was their boy BJ Clintoon??? Or maybe it’s just that we don’t expect much from professors??

And yeah, I’m sure the attorney will make a great dad… (somehow there’s a joke in there about public defenders being whores…)

I know Biden has a running nomination for Stupid person of the week, however I’d like to make a special mention for his rapid deflating of the power of the dollar and it’s steep decline as the World’s Reserve Currency under his watchful eye.

De-Dollarization Is Happening at a ‘Stunning’ Pace, Jen Says (msn.com)

Charts are pretty unbiased and the nightmare scenario of declining demand for the dollar and high interest rates are about to converge.

A lot of this is blowback from the sanctions in Russia. States want freedom to do what they want without the US crashing their economy if they do something that Biden doesn’t like. That makes the Euro look like a pretty good alternative.
