College employee/student thinks American flag is a “symbol of hatred”
That’s right, Old Glory herself is now offensive to American collegiates. The symbol of the greatest country, a beacon of freedom to the oppressed, and the only flag flown by men standing on the moon is a “malicious” “statement”. I’m sure the prisoners at the Buchenwald, Dachau, Dora-Mittelbau, Flossenbürg, and Mauthausen concentration camps were equally offended by the presence of the red, white, and blue on the uniforms of their liberators.

Pitzer College event staff manager and student, Zoe Brin, recently sent out a formal request to students demanding the American flag be taken down from one of the campus residences.
“This is a formal request to whomever [sic] lives there to take it down, immediately.

How exactly is the American flag a symbol of hatred and a threat to students of color. Notwithstanding that the flag is an inanimate object and cannot cause any harm, the flag represents this country, which seems to be the place of refuge for people fleeing actual violence. There are currently 195 independent countries existing, and an overwhelming number of immigrants come to America. Why is that? If this country is such a threat to “People Of Color”, why are they coming here and not some other country?
Hack has not heard that Hispanics are “embracing whiteness” and became hate mongers (Republicans) themselves? They are actually moving here to become Nazis and vote in the Florida election. At least that is what Joy Reid and Jemele Hill are saying.
