| September 28, 2022

There has been some recent promotion for an upcoming episode of NCIS Hawaii that has to do with Stolen Valor as a theme.  It will be Episode 3 of Season 2 and it airs on Monday October 3, 2022.

The official promo states:

NCIS: Hawaii – Season 2 Episode 3 “Stolen Valor” – Tennant and the NCIS team suspect foul play when they investigate a fatal car crash involving a Navy officer who turns out to be an imposter. Also, Whistler finds herself in danger when she goes undercover to learn the truth behind the accident, on the CBS Original series NCIS: HAWAI’I, Monday, October 3rd on CBS, and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+

Just thought you would want to watch it as a homework assignment, then we can break up into small groups and talk about our feelings.

Book ’em, Danno!

Sorry but my favorite acronym-based crime procedural will always be NTSF:SD:SUV.

And as a bonus, NTSF:SD:SUV also features real Marine veteran Rob Riggle as the President of the Navy

Robot Chicken for a laugh!

I enjoyed NCIS for a long time. Without Gibbs its just another crime drama, and I don’t care for crime shows. I watched NCIS Hawaii a couple times, I’ll pass.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs 2024.

I’ll just leave this here😎

After a while Gibbs’ character started to become rather annoying. I think it went about 8 seasons too long and lost interest in it altogether.

BlueCord Dad

I agree. I stopped watching when they started turning it into a soap opera. Killing my favorite character(Mike Franks) also hastened my departure

Tennant is hot. I’ll just leave it there.

I get NCIS Hawaii – because of the U.S. Navy presence there, but struggle with why there are shows about NCIS Los Angeles or NCIS New Orleans.

What’s next? NCIS Dalhart (TX) or NCIS Needles (CA)?

NCIS Ft. Hood(lum) might be entertaining (for us, that is) for non-military writers to attempt.

I wonder if they did a casting call at All-Points Logistics?

Some new and experienced “talent” just waiting to get on TV. I mean, there ain’t no substitute for the real thing.

Skivvy Stacker

Hm….if the character had been killed in a plane crash, he could have been named Bernath…….

Is this another show where a 95lb girl can kick the snot out of Bobo Brazil or both the Ghallager Brothers at the same time?

Will it include a motorcycle, blinged-out leather vest and a Dog?

Any truth that All Points Logistics has secured a product tie in for the episode?

Secret APL Agent 00-0.

The dude will be undercover. He will be wearing a biker vest with a SEAL Trident claiming his is a Native American.

Code Name: Phildo.

Then they tie in the stolen valor guy with the murder of the proud but humble woman who is President of a company that sells software to the federal government formerly located in Bethesda Maryland.

And Paul-mer (of the ballsack) can get a background extra credit for playing the whino the cops trip over when called to the scene of the crime.

ninja

Well, at least this guy he admitted he was not a Navy SEAL!!!

ninja

This is what happens when you out a Phony Navy SEAL!!!

Green Thumb

I wonder if they filmed this at All-Points Logistics?

My Squad Leader recommended NCIS back in 2005. As a fan of JAG, I started watching and watched the show religiously until maybe 2015, later including the Los Angeles and New Orleans spinoffs. The original was a classic, with Gibbs being the constant over the years.
Very Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo and the other characters added a lot to the show and it wasn’t scared to kill off popular characters like Gibbs’ mentor and Lauren Holly as Director Shepard.

Los Angeles seemed to have some good chemistry between the actors, especially LL Cool J and Chris O’Donnell. New Orleans had Scott Bakula and that unique NO/South Louisiana vibe. Looking at Wikipedia, it looks like Zoe McClellan (who was in both NCIS: NO and JAG) disappeared with her son three years ago and is wanted for kidnapping!

I won’t be going out of my way to watch this new series anytime soon, but hopefully the SV episode does justice to how serious this seemingly harmless crime is.

I am always surprised when they have some other plot theme other than the ongoing gay soap opera between the fbi female and the ncis female. It pretty much is always at the front of whatever the episode is about.
