Homeowner shoots, kills ‘home invader’ early Sunday morning, Keizer Police say
A homeowner in Keizer, Oregon shot and killed someone after waking up early Sunday morning to find a “home invader” in his residence, police said.
Keizer Police officers responded at about 2:20 a.m. to reports of someone with a gunshot wound at a home on Mayfield Place North.
The homeowner told police he woke to someone inside his house. He then fired a shot at the person, who was pronounced dead.

The homeowner deserves an award of the TSS (Taxpayers’ Savings Shot) and recompense for the lone round expended.
Even with all that, still cheaper then hospital, jail, arraignment, trial, sentencing, prison, medical, appeals, etc.
Looks like Nighthawk found a way to improve (GASP! SHOCK!) on St JMB’s (HBHN) sacred 1911 design. But at $4K+ (2019 price) I think I’ll stick with the original design.

AW1Ed really must be feeling benevolent to KoB today, ringing his Pavlovian bell that way. I guess that’s a nice pistol for those who like sports cars, but for us old pickup truck folks, I’ll take something less flashy that just plain works when I need it to. (Not that the Nighthawk doesn’t, but…)
