Teen’s botched robbery gets his mom charged with poor supervision, Louisiana cops say

A teen’s botched attempt to rob someone at gunpoint ended with him in a hospital and his mom charged with “improper supervision of a minor,” according to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office.The incident happened Saturday, May 14, in Hammond, Louisiana, about 45 miles east of Baton Rouge, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
Deputies arrived to find a 17-year-old with a gunshot wound to the chest, the sheriff’s office said.
“Detectives determined that during the robbery a struggle ensued between (the teen) and the victim, which led to gunshots being fired,” officials said.
The teen was taken to North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond for treatment. He was discharged May 23 into the custody of the sheriff’s office, officials said.

Police: Woman killed man who fired rifle into party crowd
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — A woman in West Virginia fatally shot a man who began firing an AR-15-style rifle into a crowd of people that had gathered for a party, authorities said.
Dennis Butler, 37, was killed Wednesday night after he pulled out the rifle and began shooting at dozens of people attending the birthday-graduation party outside an apartment complex in the city of Charleston, police said in a statement.
The woman, who was attending the party, drew a pistol and fired, killing Butler, the statement said. No one at the party was injured.
“Instead of running from the threat, she engaged with the threat and saved several lives last night,” Chief of Detectives Tony Hazelett told news outlets Thursday.

Outgunned- 0….?
And yet, there is an article referenced as “Ukraine defenses are outnumbered and outgunned in country’s east” that did not ‘return‘ in the search. Odd.
Not saying this is intentional, as it is a rolling timeline article, but it does do for me two things:
A) CNN is ok using language that supports the arming of foreign countries for ‘reasons
