High-speed chase in Fresno ends with damaged police car and a fight with police dog

Fresno Police arrested a suspected car thief late Saturday after he rammed a police cruiser trying to evade capture and led officers on a high-speed chase that hit 100 miles per hour on highways 41 and 168 before ending in a residential neighborhood just south of Bulldog Stadium.The driver ditched the stolen Chevrolet Tahoe and attempted to hide in backyards. Officers said he was captured after losing a fight with a police K-9.
“We had our MAGEC (Multi-Agency Gang Enforcement Consortium) tactical team out here, our patrol officers as well set up a quick perimeter,” Fresno Police Lt. Ignacio Ruiz said.
“He was seen moving by a CHP aircraft, moving within yards. He finally stayed put and hid there and did not come out. When the search team went to that location, they were able to locate the suspect hiding. He fought with our K-9 unit, and he was subsequently bit. He was treated and is now in custody.”

Officer, security guard involved in shooting outside New Boston Space Force Station
A 33-year-old Massachusetts man died after being shot near the New Boston Space Force Station late Friday night, according to the attorney general.
The “shooting incident” involved a New Boston police officer and a contracted security guard, according to a news release. The shooting took place around 11:30 p.m. on the access road to the Space Force Station off of Chestnut Hill Road. No officers were injured.
The man’s identity is being withheld pending notification of his next of kin.

New Boston…..WTF? Where is that in relation to “Boston” Boston? Did (regular) Boston shed its skin to become “New Boston”? Wouldn’t THAT be a trick!
What did the perp get shot with? Had to have been something high tech, being it was near the Space (Case Kay-det) Force Station.
The Space Force should have gotten the perp and launched him (her/it) into Semi Ballistic Low Orbit, to burn up in re-entry. Then the justice system would have saved some $$, the perp’s ashes could become fertilizer (somewhere), the perp would become useful to society, and the Space Force would have had some launch (and aim) practice.
