John McCain warned that Blinken would be dangerous to America

In 2014, John McCain opposed Blinken’s nomination. He described it as one of the worst nominations that Obama could make. During the speech, he detailed how Blinken advocated a time table for withdrawal and that we had to keep to it. McCain criticized that plan as it risked a repeat of what happened in Iraq.

Madam President, I rise to discuss my opposition to the pending vote concerning Mr. Anthony (Tony) Blinken, who is not only unqualified, but in fact, in my view, one of the worst selections of a very bad lot that this president has chosen.
I hope that many of my colleagues will understand, that not often do I come to the floor to oppose a nomination of the President of the United States, because I believe that elections have consequences.
In this case… This individual has actually been dangerous to America and to them young men and women who are fighting and serving it.

Let’s just review a couple of some of the elements in particular and and Mr. Blinken’s roll in conceptualizing and furthering it.
U.S. foreign policy is in shambles – it’s at best a strategic, and at worst anti-strategic.

I’ll move on to Afghanistan. Mr. Blinken said, “We’ve been very clear. We’ve been consistent. The war will be concluded by the end of 2014. We have a timetable and that timetable will not change.”
This is why I’m so worried about him being in the position that he’s in. Because if they stick to that timetable, I am telling my colleagues that we will see the replay of Iraq all over again. We must leave a stabilizing force behind of a few thousand troops. Or, we will see again what we saw in Iraq.
So, let’s move on to Syria…
Donald Trump’s withdrawal plan was predicated on conditions on the ground. Joe Biden’s withdrawal plan was as John McCain described of Blinken’s original statement regarding the withdrawal.

I have to assume McCain knew Biden pretty well. Wonder if he ever said anything about him, or did collegial courtesy cause him to bite his tongue
The big question is, who are the other two? I know ole Sleepy Joe is one. The Other? Wynken? Blow Job Billy? Cuomo?
Have they started making plans for the Biden presidential library yet?
A few suggestions:

2. A deep smoking crater in the middle of a pile of manure.

Maybe some Municipality in Delaware ought to have a Joe Biden Sewage Treatment Plant in memory of the legacy of SHIT that he has?

Sen. McCain was a weaselly RINO at times, but he wasn’t dumb. It’s a good thing we have the internet or this would have been sent down the memory hole by the good and faithful State Media.
One other comment that is sort of unrelated to this post. I really hate our oh so intellectual superiors saying “Tal-LEE-bahn”. Do they fake a British accent when they mention people’s names from England or do the proper German pronunciation for the city “München”? No they don’t. It’s just pretension and it’s super annoying.
Just like they overenunciate Spanish names … “…candidates include Steve Nelson, Amanda Tompkins, and Arrrrrrrrrmando Rrrrrrrrodrrrrrriguezzzzzz”
