Antifa thugs fight peaceful protesters against government mask mandates
Anti-mask mandate protesters in Los Angeles were counter-protested by “Antifa.” Violence ensued, like it always does when the “Black Bloc”-clad “Anti Fascists” show up for a fiery, but mostly peaceful protest. This included one being stabbed. I’m sure the irony is not lost that the group ostensibly against fascism is apparently fighting for fascism when it comes to wearing a mask.
Antifa thugs clashed with anti-mask protesters outside Los Angeles City Hall on Saturday afternoon resulting in multiple injuries.
“Breaking: Brutal right-wing vs antifa brawl breaks out at anti-mask protest in Los Angeles,” journalist Andy Ngo tweeted Saturday along with a video from videographer Sean Carmitchel who was at the scene. “One of the antifa who charges in to fight gets pummeled to the ground. A woman trying to help him gets hit on the head. The antifa end up retreating.”
At one point, Carmitchel tweeted that a man had been stabbed which he says was confirmed by the LAPD. That man was transferred to a hospital via ambulance.
Carmitchel documented several more skirmishes and police officers ultimately got involved to separate the two crowds.
Some of the protesters, who had gathered at City Hall to protest against mask and vaccine mandates could be seen yelling “F*** Antifa” to the counter-protesters clad in all black.
“Anti-vaxxers have been holding violent protests attacking innocent bystanders in the process,” a Twitter account linked to Antifa posted earlier this week along with a flyer encouraging others to protest against the anti-mask crowd. “Now they want to hold a rally downtown, this directly puts the unhoused communities who live in the area in danger. We say no more!”
The LAPD reacted to the event on Twitter and said no arrests were made.
“LAPD is monitoring a protest at the south lawn of the LA City Hall,” the tweet said. “We are on scene to maintain order after a fight broke out. We are aware of 1 male that was stabbed & is being treated by LAFD. No arrests have been made but investigation is on going.”
This whole affair reminds me of this satirical post that rings more true everyday. We here all knew that Antifa was a fascistic group of people, but here they straight prove it.

Guys, maybe I missed something, but I read that as pure sarcasm. All caps, ‘teh covid’, ‘papers’, ‘kill us’, ‘heathens’? This whole mask/vax thing I do have some issues with. As a designated ‘essential personnel’ aboard a military base (contractor now) I’ve seen a plethora of orders and subsequent Frag Orders that were, well, IDN. Recently there was a Frag stating military not wearing masks would be required to ‘show papers’ to any supervisor/senior Officer/NCO. The XO sent out an all hands that if you pass through the facility security as a military member unmasked, show papers to them and no one else is to ask after that. If you wear a mask, no papers. Fair enough. Latest Frag, everyone wears a mask. Ok. I’m not ‘mandated’ per say as a contractor. But I like my job and I would like to keep my job. So I wear a mask. I don’t wear a mask everywhere outside the facility, but I keep cheap ones in my back pocket, in my car/truck because some places either mandate them or just everyone else is. I put it on before entering, look around and get the feel of the place, and either leave it on or take it off. It doesn’t really bother me. And I kind liken that to my states open carry policy. I rarely open carry, my range and while hunting almost exclusively. I prefer concealed, and do carry concealed. I haven’t frequented bars in many years, and work is a no-go. I prefer anonymity – mask and concealed helps I think. I do see the open carry often, and make a mental note. Maybe allied, maybe asset, maybe asshole. Never know, but eyes open, mouth wide shut. Anyway, showing hands in cards always strikes me as not recommended. Neither does a YouTube vid confronting some underpaid person who probably now hates you more than the job. If I’ve got a dog with me, I don’t go to places that don’t allow dogs. If I want a swim-up bar (there really should be more of those), I don’t blame the management for not installing a pool. If the owner says he doesn’t want to serve people who won’t wear a mask, that’s his prerogative just as it’s mine to patronize a different establishment.
The government demanding that I wear a particular article of clothing is a whole different beast. And, no, I don’t agree that the government should force restauranteurs to require shirts or shoes, either.
