Journalist accused of harassing private citizen over legal donation

A local report in Utah faced heavy backlash over the weekend after tracking down a paramedic who donated to the defense fund of Kyle Rittenhouse and attempting to confront him at home.
The Guardian reported last week Rittenhouse, the Illinois teenager accused of killing two protesters in Wisconsin in August, received thousands of dollars in donations for his legal defense, including from public officials and police officers.
Jason Nguyen, a reporter from ABC’s Salt Lake City affiliate in Utah, discovered a local paramedic donated $10 to Rittenhouse and headed to his home seeking his “side” of the story. The decision to track down a private citizen for donating $10 was lambasted nationally once Nguyen tweeted about it.
“A Utah paramedic donated to the defense fund of Kyle Rittenhouse. It was first reported in the @guardian this morning. Rittenhouse is accused of killing two protesters in Kenosha, WI. I tried to get the paramedics [sic] side of things. See the story tonight at 10p on @abc4utah,” Nguyen wrote to accompany a photo taken as he knocked on the paramedic’s front door.

Everyone on the left is upset because the My Pillow Guy And Rick Schroeder donated to Kyle Rittenhouse’s defense, but hold rallies to free convicted cop murderer Mumia Abu Jamal.
The cultish devotion to murderers among the left in America is really disgusting.
Makes one wonder what kind of utopia they desire, doesn’t it?
They seem to really like cop killers and domestic terrorists (with quite a bit of overlap).
But that’s different. Defending yourself is not authorized and donating to the legal defense of those who defend themselves is also not authorized. By somebody somewhere. Nobody knows who or where they are, but you are just supposed to know it. Like, maybe the unicorn told you. Duh.

Since the information was gotten because of a data breach surely Twitter will not be allowing it to be shared on their platform since they got a policy about sharing “hacked material”. Who am I kidding, that policy only is used when the material makes a Democrat look bad.
I wonder what would happen if that citizen showed up at the reporters door step and doxxed him online?
This is the right answer, show up with a camera and a bunch of citizens and ask why he’s bothering people at their homes.
Even better show up at his boss’s house and ask the boss why he lets employees dox public servants without any accountability.
The people who make this possible are always the leaders of an organization.
If we started perp walking CEOs out of their offices on national TV for employing illegals I suspect illegals would find it much more difficult to get work.
Is this ‘journalist’ going to track down an anonymous non donor and get their side of the story to, you know, be balanced? “Excuse me, sir, I got your name from a website I hacked, and noticed you did not donate money to Kyle Rittenhouse defense fund and I want to get your side of the story”.
Good point. He should go to everyone’s house in America and ask them why they did or did not donate to this fund. We want answers. No, we demand answers!
Well, it’s not like the press told us a cop who died of a “natural causes” stroke was beaten to death earlier in the day.
My response to that douchebag would be to open my front door and let him say “Hello” to our 110 pound male and 85 pound female American Bulldogs. They’re big babies once you’re in the house, you knock on the door and they lose their freaking minds. Even the Jehovah’s Witnesses give our house a wide berth. I figure this moron would need to change his skivvies and be rethinking the whole gotcha ‘journalism’ style after meeting them. If not, I could always open the storm door and let them “play” with their new chew toy (and get to see how fast he can run). I love my dogs!
I think the perfect response for this is to tell the reporter “thanks for reminding me, I’m going to immediately send another check for $100.”
Perhaps someone should start stalking Jason, just the way he has stalked his targets.
