New York projected to receive $50 Billion from $1.9 Trillion coronavirus package
A $1.9 trillion coronavirus package has $50 billion slated to go to New York. Republicans do not appear to support this package. As Donald Trump described this, it would be away for blue states to fill their budget deficits.
From the New York Post:
The bailout includes $12.6 billion in New York state coronavirus recovery funding and $10.64 billion for local governments, Pelosi wrote in the letter obtained by The Post.
Another $12.3 billion has been earmarked for the state’s shuttered schools while the Empire State’s run down transit system would receive an $8.8 billion infusion.
New York airports are earmarked for $418 million in the aid bill and small businesses will be eligible for a pot of $483 million.
The package will serve as an urgently-needed cash injection for the state which faces a massive $63 billion budget deficit owed to revenue losses caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Pelosi credited New York’s two senators, Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand for their “enthusiastic advocacy” in securing the funding.
Despite receiving a sizeable portion of the rescue package, Gov. Andrew Cuomo will be in Washington, D.C. on Friday to ask the Biden administration for more cash.

I like Boston. Always have. Of course I lived in New Hampshire. After all, Boston is “a nice place to visit, but I wouldn’t want to live there”.

There’s something like a trillion bucks already appropriated that hasn’t even been spent yet. Just printing more money out of thin air to reward Biteme’s benefactors.
Slightly off topic, but I continue to see and hear comments about recalling Gov. Cuomo, like Newsome can be recalled. But that is not possible. There is no provision in New York law to recall any state elected officials, including the governor.
Here we go, which IMHO is further proof that the Deep State did all it could to rig the election for Xiden because the recklessly spending blue states were shit-scared of getting their feet held to the proverbial fire!
Just like the great stimulus of 2008(?), this “stimulus” is just another political slush fund, with a few bucks for the peasants to keep them quiet.
I have always said that a politician is someone who takes a dollar out of your pocket, then holds a press conference where he gives you a check for fifty cents and expects gratitude for “his” generosity.
