President Donald Trump has announced another breakthrough peace deal between Israel and an Arab nation, making it the fourth time his administration has brokered such an agreement in the past four months.
Trump said Thursday that Israel and Morocco have agreed to normalize relations, which includes the immediate reopening of liaison offices in Tel Aviv and Rabat, the forthcoming opening of embassies, and the allowance of joint overflight rights for airlines, the Associated Press reported.
The White House noted that Morocco’s King Mohammed VI promised to “resume diplomatic relations between Morocco and Israel and expand economic and cultural cooperation to advance regional stability.”

Weird.
A total political amateur has produced peace agreements that the pros said were unlikely unless demands were met to appease a faction that accepts nothing less than obliteration of those they oppose.
The amateur blew off the loons and their demands, and suddenly there are peace agreements.
Weird.
We shall see if the agreements are durable. -that- would be the accomplishment.
Call me cynical, but how long after Biden/Obama 2.0 take over will this last? I am not optimistic.
I’d love to see him get the Nobel just to burn the ass of the Left.

Since the past History of our Country is being systematically destroyed, I doubt if President Trump’s Peace Strides will be noted or credited to him. History will record that The FIRST (ht 2 Hack Stone) Black Female President, K Harris signed the historic agreements shortly after she ascended to the throne…err…was sworn in as President in February of 2021.
I’ve yet to have any of the usual suspects that can only scree “ORANGE MAN BAD” or make unfounded personal attacks on the posters of this forum, tell me exactly what made the hatred they feel for President Trump.
The fact that Morocco did this knowing that Biden is likely the next president is a good sign, but just a sign.
Something has materially changed in the world and I suspect it is that many nations are finally waking to and frightened by China’s naked aggression.
If so, this may be a lasting trend.
But without an American commitment to staying out of wars, it can all blow up as quickly as it appeared.
I find it interesting that the “no war, no cops” crowd voted for two known warmongering police staters.
Naked aggression puts it mildly. They unleash a virus on the world and are literally the only ones to profit off it. I’m sure to the detriment of their people and the environment.
I doubt if China was much of a bogeyman in Morocco’s mind regarding this deal. If anything, US backing of their claim to Western Sahara opens opportunities for economic cooperation with the PRC.
It’s not naked aggression, but it’s war on a totally different level (a generation of statecraft that is on a whole different level than drone swarms, proxy terror, and stealth fighters – but entirely capable of capitalizing on them).
That said, it’s not a bad move for us and our interests, so long as we don’t ignore the nuance and make it a simple matter of personal presidential legacy. Given the apparent incoming regime, I’m not sanguine.
Amazing. Trump has been one of the best foreign policy presidents of my life time and gotten zero credit for it. He is the first president since Carter to leave office with no new wars. Funny thing for a warmongering racist fascist. No Islamic Terror attacks since 2017, strange that.
I imagine things will go to shit quite quickly when dementia man takes over and starts running his mouth and putting other countries ahead of the US as he promised. It was awesome while it lasted.
