In other news, water is wet

Milking his 15 minutes of fame for a few more seconds,

Retired Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman says he’s “absolutely” become a “never-Trumper” after coming under relentless attack from President Donald Trump, telling NBC News’ Lester Holt that the White House leaked a classified memo about him to congressional Republicans in a bid to smear him.

Vindman says he “was not a never-Trumper before, I was nonpartisan,” echoing language he used during his pivotal testimony to Congress during the impeachment inquiry. But Vindman said that has changed “as the president’s attacked and politicized me directly.”

  1. A Proud Infidel ®™️ says:

Nonpartisan my ass, what about his confirmed conversations with Ukrainians apologizing for the election of President Trump?

  2. FuzeVT says:

Has there ever been a dumber thing to be after January of 2016. That ship has sailed, folks. The troops are on the beach. Come up with a different term that acknowledges he IS president but that you still hate him because while he ostensibly does all those things conservatives have wanted for decades he’s still bad because he’s icky and gross and did not come to Washington through the acceptable paths.

“was not a never-Trumper before, I was nonpartisan,”
But I still was willing to be a part of an attempt to get rid of the duly elected President because reasons.

    • MI Ranger says:

I think the term is “Orange Man Bad”! which about sums up their literary skills as well.

        MI Ranger
I’ll just leave this here and not poke AW1Ed because it’s political and if you want to click you can and if you don’t, don’t.

        Oh and Happy Tuesday

        • 5th/77th FA says:

          😆 😆 😛 😆

Welcome Home Chippy, hope you had a large time vacating with the young’uns.

          • ChipNASA says:

            Thanks 5th/77th FA
I did, quite nicely, of clear head, things went smoothly, although I did hear through Book of Face(which I now earned a restriction for about 30 days) of the death of one of my more senion squadron members who wasn’t in the best of health, unbenonst to me, kinda.
I shed a few tears as it wa the first of my “crew” since arriving in 1988 and departing in 2007, that has passed.
Inevitable, but still painful, and not anything that would have driven me to head to the hotel tiki bar which was 50 feet away.
Still I enjoyed my time with kids and getting home as always. Seems as an adult, vacations aren’t as much vacations when you have other responsibilities, but still, heartening, nonetheless.
Thanks for the welcome home and I’m kinda proud of myself.

            • 5th/77th FA says:

Word up Brother and sympathies to you and your squadron mates on losing your Compatriot. Everyone we come into contact with on this plain of existence is meant to be and has an effect. I like to think that for the most part, the ones that really were meant to be will be seen again, in another plain. As Fletcher said, “He’ll be waiting for us there, Senator.”

Glad you beat the rain too, they getting hammered all along there now. And I understand about the vacating for old folks. I had many a “working vacation” thru out the years, where it was more work for me and the vacating was done by others. That’s why I was really looking forward to my cancelled road trip this past June. Had all the time in the world, plenty of disposable $, and somebody else to do 98% of the driving. Chinese Communist Bastards can kiss my Sorry White Black Irish Hearted Trashy azz.

              Gun Bunny

Another welcome back Chip. There for a while I thought I was going to have to save a bunk for you in the “Removed” list of those who post too openly. As it was, AW1ED cut me an appreciated break after I self-admitted to a Re-education camp briefly. Graduated with the traditional zipper on my mouth and the corner of my brain blocked where it read, “Do not wake the bear”, which is not an albino bear. See, I’m learning not to say it after all. Anyway, it is good indeed to see your fingers and brain are working in concert again.

  3. SGT Ted says:

Vindman is a bad liar as well.

  4. Combat Historian says:

This ass continues to be an embarrassment to the good name and reputation of the U.S. Army Officers’ Corps. He’ll probably join the two retired O-5 dummkopfs featured here a couple weeks ago and call for a military coup by the 82d Abn Div…

  5. MustangCryppie says:

The rat didn’t want to open himself up to an article 88 violation. That’s why he was “non partisan” when active duty.

  6. Ret_25X says:

“I lied to the nation about something and got caught. It’s not fair! I would have gotten away with it if it wasn’t for those meddling kids!”

Up next, Dummissar to tell us how a lack of integrity and anal-cranial inversion is a core competency for an officer.

  7. 5th/77th FA says:

I don’t think that wetness flowing down our back is rain.

I guess this tool will keep rearing his ugly head until his useful idiocy time is over.

Four wasted years because that skrunt, the Bitch of Benghazi, dasHitlerbeast, didn’t get her turn. And Donald Trump exposed the domestic deep state enemies of our Republic for what and who they afre.

  8. Thunderstixx says:

This klown is proof to the world and all of us Veterans of all stripes, breeds and units that intelligence is NOT a prerequisite for command in the armed forces of the United States of America, depending on who’s President.

    Uh huh……..

  9. Green Thumb says:

    A Rat Turd indeed.

  10. Skippy says:

Well he was a back stabbing POS at 2 CR
    And he’s a POS now
    Some things never change

  11. RetiredDevilDoc8404 says:

Once a lazy rat bastard chow thief, always a lazy rat bastard chow thief. I’ve been told Ranger school will bring to light all sorts of character flaws, his peers recognized him for what he was/is – a rancid turd in the punch bowl on a hot summer day. Too bad they weren’t allowed to get rid of him long ago, could have made the dummycraps’ job a bit tougher if he hadn’t been around.

  12. USMC Steve says:

Skippy, can you tell me what a 2 CR is. Not a term I was familiar with. Did you actually know this pussbucket?

  13. AZRobert says:

He’s thinks he’s biden his time until the insurrection gets going, they’ll need leaders, the tree of liberty and all….to some the tree is a money tree or the tree of allah.

    Always follow the money.

  14. SGT Ted says:

Where’s Commie-sar to defend his BFF? Or has been banned from here?

  15. rgr769 says:

Sometimes one thinks chopping the hand off a convicted thief is not such an extreme punishment.

  16. JTB says:

How did this Slipknot make it through all the training…

  17. Berliner says:

He’s just trying to stay relevant and get an “unbiased” commentator spot on CNN and/or MSNBC.

  18. Veritas Omnia Vincit says:

Non-partisan…that’s sort of the minimum standard for officers serving at that level at the pleasure of the CinC.

Colonel you spoke your piece, laid out your concerns and were told you’d been heard.

That you don’t like what happened afterwards doesn’t make you a heroic whistleblower, it makes you a whiny nudge who didn’t get his way after requesting updates to a transcript that even the Democrats admitted had no bearing on their understanding of the call. It’s not like what Vindman wanted to add was some earth shattering news and would fundamentally change the nature of the phone call or how we all understood what was happening.

Trump had made it clear in several other places, including the Ambassador to the EU that an investigation into Biden’s actions would be of interest to Trump.

The “…” that Vindman wanted to alter didn’t change any of that.

That’s the problem, Vindman’s earth shattering changes would have made little difference to the understanding of the call and to the process of the investigation as a whole.

He showed that he didn’t approve of the CinC’s actions and the CinC understood that reality and sent him packing.

No different than Obama sending Stanley McChrystal on his way for running his mouth.

Sometimes your boss gets to shit can you when you disagree with them, simply because your disagreement makes the boss think you’re a disloyal or simply difficult subordinate that adds no value to the operation.

We have a much easier time dumping the turds in the private sector, and we put up with far less than Trump did in this instance.

  19. Carlton G Long says:

    Dumb fat fuck.

  20. Ex Coelis says:

Looks like the cartoon Osiffer-guy is pointing to some kind of award possibly known as ‘ The Golden Order of the Duplicitous Rat’…? *shrug*
