Firefighters smash windows of BMW parked in front of hydrant
This entitled BMW owner parked in front of a hydrant in NYC recently. FDNY was called to the area for an active three story structure fire. The basement savers were none too pleased with their access to the fire hydrant.
What part of “NO PARKING” do some people have trouble understanding? Especially when the emergency service you’re blocking is equipped with axes, chainsaws, and a “don’t give a fuck” attitude about breaking anything in their way.

Man steals heavy equipment, crushes truck, files false police report
On August 14th the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) a stolen pickup truck in the Hat Lake area. The next day a log skidder was reported stolen from a forestry business in the area. The coppers started to connect the dots to this sudden rash of felonies in this small, rural town.
The investigation has since determined that a pickup truck had been driven on the logging road in the Hat Lake area and later became stuck on a bridge. The driver of the pickup then attended a forestry business property and took a log skidder to remove the pickup truck from the bridge. Once at the scene, the suspect lost control of the log skidder and ran over his pickup truck.
As a result of the investigation, Gaetan Henry, 36 years-of-age from Elliot Lake, was charged with:
- Theft over $5,000 of a motor vehicle, contrary to section 334(a) of the Criminal Code (CC); and with
- Public mischief, contrary to section 140(1)(c) of the CC.

Woman flabbergasted after she was shot with BB gun for stealing Trump sign
So this Peggy Fox in NC goes to visit her brother and sees a “Keep America Great TRUMP 2020″ sign in the yard. She’s never heard her brother get political, and since no rational person in her mind would support Trump, she thought it was a prank sign. Naturally, she removes said sign. The sign was not on her brother’s property. She claims this was all a mistake.
The 76-year-old man whose property she was stealing the campaign sign from says he yelled at her to stop (she disputes this), then shot her in the arm with a BB gun he keeps handy for shootin’ stray cats.
“You can’t shoot people on your property,” Fox said. “It was very frightening. Extremely frightening.He actually believed he could shoot me if I was on his property and, to me, that’s terrifying.” Maybe she shouldn’t go around stealing people’s stuff then.
It appears from my research that NC’s castle doctrine laws do not apply on open land, which is probably why the 76 year old man is now facing charges. He’s considering charging her for the theft in return, but that cannot be done for some reason until his assault case is heard.
Fox said she thinks the problem is the political divisiveness that is spreading across society. “I think it speaks to the political conditions and it’s really, really sad. I just wish people would talk,” she said.

“According to Sumter police, 29-year-old Sabrina Belcher, the candidate for mayor, admitted to planning the ruse, which police say she recorded and posted to Facebook live with 34-year-old Christopher James Eaddy.”
“Police say on Tuesday they were called to the police station just before 11:30 p.m. to meet with Belcher who reported she was was assaulted and kidnapped by an unknown man during an attempted robbery. She was injured and her vehicle windows were knocked out during the chain of events described by Belcher.”
“During the investigation, police say Belcher provided a fake name of her attacker. Officers say they later determined she was in contact with Eaddy whom she had worked with days prior to concoct and stage the reported incident.”
“Police say the duo also attempted to discredit a fellow candidate in their recording, adding that Belcher had ongoing plans to smear other mayoral candidates prior to the election.”
“This was simply an effort to create disorder and discontent in our community for personal gain,” Chief Russell Roark said. “As a result, a valuable number of resources, including personnel, man-hours of the police department as well as local medical professionals, were wasted based on false information.”
“Belcher is charged with filing a false police report of a felony and conspiracy. Eaddy is charged with conspiracy. Both were booked Wednesday at the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center.”

Dipshit with the BMW is all “stressed” about his ride. Left it parked in front of the hydrant because the battery died on the keyless remote.
$180 ticket and $$ for replacing the glass on the ride. How much would it have cost to replace the battery on the remote?

He must be pretty stupid, too. Can’t say about BMWs, but most if not all other keyless entry remotes I’ve seen include a back-up key that can be used to get into the vehicle in the event the keyless remote breaks or otherwise won’t work.
Plus, 4 days and he couldn’t find a battery for his remote? In NYC? GMAFB.

Current vehicle is keyless entry/start. And yes, they have backup keys, and batteries are easily replaced.

The 5 brands biggest douchebags on the road according to research? BMW owners, Lamborghini owners, Ferrari Owners…along with Mercedes and Audi. Essentially people who buy expensive cars tend to be douchebags when on the road.
Another study found the two brands least likely to stop for a pedestrian; Prius and BMW.

I owned a Volvo once. Hated it, but it wouldn’t wear out so I had to keep it. The Timex of automobiles.
Smart Car owners also make that list, for illegal parking, cutting off other vehicles (including vehicles that could flatten a Smart Car without even noticing), taking up multiple parking spaces (which takes some serious effort in something so small), failure to yield to emergency vehicles, etc.
Actually had a guy tell me once that his Smart Car was exempt from red curb parking restrictions “because it’s a Smart Car!”
Obviously the car was smarter than the driver.

Funny thing about the campaign sign: there’s dozens of residences in the town I live in waving Trump flags or displaying Trump signs. There’s a total of two Biden signs in the whole town—one of them hand-made from a wood pallet and actually pretty nice in creativity and craftsmanship if not in content, definitely took a few hours to put together. Despite the popularity of Trump and lack thereof for Rapey Joe around here, nobody has stolen or defaced either of the pro-Biden signs. It’s almost as if all these Trump voters respect private property and differences of opinion…
Maybe it’s not making the news (or not yet), but we haven’t seen the mass theft of Trump signs like we did in 2016.
Somebody must have told them that it wasn’t helping their cause. 🤔

I was doing a little assignment last weekend in a very tony neighborhood in MA. BLM and other assorted liberal signage on the manicured lawns of the seven-figure homes of the uber-white residents.
Made me wonder how comfortable they’d feel if, you know, MINORITIES actually dared to live there.
I wonder the same question as I drive around the ultra woke, moron of the month award city of Austin, Texas in their “tony, hoity toity suburban gated 95% white communities.
I live in an area that has a pretty solid Mexican American family foundation. The crime is low and people are generally friendly and pleasant to be around.
We had a job in an OMD down on Shore Road years ago with a car parked in front of the hydrant so the first due engine arrives, sizes up the situation and the two front windows are taken out and the steamer intake line was run through the car, and of course, the hydrant steamer coupling was a little loose,Hmmm which produced a nice amount of the wet stuff into the car. I wouldn’t call this Ghetto mentality during a W/F when their were people residing in the building.
Most places I have lived, it is illegal to tamper with a political sign, even in public right of ways, within a campaign period.
Moving it or blocking/covering it counts. So does adding symbols to it.
