Biased predominantly leftist Washington DC grand jury failed to indict Senator Mark Kelly
This is what the article should’ve been titled. A grand jury in Washington D.C. did not indict Senator Mark Kelly for his role in a video aimed at members of the U.S. military. The article mentioned that there were other cases where a grand jury in the nation’s capital did not return an indictment sought by the U.S. government. What the article leaves out is that the fact that population of Washington D.C. predominantly votes Democrat. These are the same folks who make up the population from which Washington DC juries are formed.
From AP News:
Slotkin, a former CIA analyst who represents Michigan, said late Tuesday that she hopes this ends the Justice Department’s probe.
“Tonight we can score one for the Constitution, our freedom of speech, and the rule of law,” Slotkin said in a statement. “But today wasn’t just an embarrassing day for the Administration. It was another sad day for our country,” she said.
Kelly, a former Navy pilot who represents Arizona, called the attempt to bring charges an “outrageous abuse of power by Donald Trump and his lackies.”
“Donald Trump wants every American to be too scared to speak out against him,” Kelly said in a post on X. “The most patriotic thing any of us can do is not back down.”
In November, the Pentagon opened an investigation into Kelly, citing a federal law that allows retired service members to be recalled to active duty on orders of the defense secretary for possible court-martial or other punishment. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has censured Kelly for participating in the video and is trying to retroactively demote Kelly from his retired rank of captain.
The senator is suing Hegseth to block those proceedings, calling them an unconstitutional act of retribution. During a hearing last week, the judge appeared to be skeptical of key arguments that a government attorney made in defense of Kelly’s Jan. 5 censure by Hegseth.

Kelly and Das Hildabeast should fornicate and see what they can create.
See lead photo
Yeah, but maybe even uglier? We are talking about mating with Das Hildabeast! LOL
Even IDC-Sarc would have to be very, very drunk, and employ several bags, to fornicate Das Hildabeast!
IIRC, he said that was a bridge too far even for him.
Kelley is well known for the content of his character. Relegate him to irrelevance and let that be the last of him.
His character consists of trotting his wife out as a political prop every now and then while screaming “gunz bad”!
He’s just keeping her house-trained. She is a dog.
In the next breath, Kelly hollers “but not MY gunz”!
Off topic but one of you know who’s people got loose an killed 9 and wounded 25 in Tumbler Ridge, BC yesterday. The RCMP says “we will never know the motive…”
Tranny violence– move along, nothing to see here! /sarc
Obi-Wan Kenobi: “This isn’t the motive you’re looking for.”
He was well known to the police who had been to his residence many times. On previous occasions they confiscated firearms! Upon appropriate petition for return of those weapons, the police did, in fact, return them. In Canada, no less.
Sounds like this mental defective was an intact male at the time of HIS murderous crimes. The criminal practitioners of “medicine” who actively participated in the dysphoria are the SUPER villains, on the similar level as Anthony the Awful.
Canada will blame firearms and have more gun control, then fine folk for “causing offence” if they complain.
This is my shocked face.
Arizona, we have to do better than this.
You’re surprised? The residents and inmates of Mordor-on-the-Potomac protect their own, no matter what.
Because Mark Kelly didn’t commit a crime.
He reminded service members of their oath and the law.
That isn’t illegal.
There is a reason even the Trump admin controlled DoD pushed back when Hegseth wanted to charge Kelly under the UCMJ.
Because it wasn’t a crime.
Leaving Hegseth to go after Kelly with a rat fuck admin process. And Hegseth will lose that effort in court.
The fact that you turn on a veteran that served honorably and more exceptionally than most, because he told service members to honor their oath, reveals who you are. Yet again.
You are correct, nothing Mark Kelly said was a crime. Sure, we can go with the story that “He reminded service members of their oath and the law.
Even you should smell the bullshit radiating off of that. He, like you, believes that everything Trump has the military do is an illegal order. His intent was to foment unrest in the ranks and create an atmosphere where every service member begins to question every order as “illegal”. It’s blatant, and it violates his oath as a commissioned officer. Also, something you are very familiar with.
“The fact that you turn on a veteran that served honorably and more exceptionally than most, because he told service members to honor their oath, reveals who you are.”
Yes. It absolutely does. And we’re very proud of that. I will turn on any veteran that dishonors himself by attacking the commander in chief, any commander in chief, through the use of weasel words and sly attempts to disrupt good order and discipline. I’d like to offer into evidence, example #1, you.
Kelly’s intent was obvious from the beginning. And most reasonable thinkers who recognized it also knew that there was damn little chance of proving intent. The only thing Mark Kelly accomplished was to cement his place in history as a conniving prick. Again, that’s common knowledge. He’s provided the proof.
You’re dismissed. Your act is old and past it’s expiration.
+1,000,000
….Concur. They wanted just one person to say that they thought they were being given an illegal order, and it would have been off to the races.
Kelly’s actions were the equivalent of “I’m just asking questions” or the ever popular “thought experiment.” Strictly speaking, not illegal. Just weasel words and weasel actions.
Lars, you never cease to amaze me. I’ve been left shaking my head at your commentary and wondering if you really believe the Bovine Scatology you spout, and it sure seems like you do, which leads me to wonder if you were dropped on your head repeatedly as a child or were your parents brother and sister? It’s got to be something…
SPAPOS’s family tree isn’t a straight stick, it’s a wreath (think about that for a minute)
Since the first day he started pissing his drawers here, I have suspected that he is his own cousin.
What MK and the Scatologous Six said wasn’t treason. But if it wasn’t sedition, it bordered on it too close as makes no never mind.
And if other Service Members decided to listen to Kelly and refuse a critical, yet lawful order, will Kelly jump to their defense during their court martial? Of course not! He’d be too busy hiding behind the 1st Amendment while the military is busy dealing with mutiny in the ranks over every single Presidential Order.
I’ll almost shocked that our resident liberal retard pops up the day after ANOTHER trans kid goes on a shooting spree and kills a score of innocents…almost surprised
Haven’t heard about that, what with all the missing Guthrie coverage, Olympics and what most likely irritates the MSM the most, is both stories cut into their orange man bad/ ice bad coverage. Had a missing, possibly abducted elderly woman not been related to a famous woman, it would rate no more than local coverage.
Had a missing, possibly abducted elderly woman not been related to a famous woman, it probably wouldn’t have happened.
What does “a veteran who served honorably and more exceptionally than most” have to do with what that person does/did after their service that is dishonorable? Like suggesting that others disobey orders. Supposing that Kelly committed murder or a sex offense, do you take into consideration his military service? We’re not talking about a parking ticket that the butthead didn’t pay. Wake the fuck up Commie.
Apparently, honorable service makes one unquestionable in his myopic eyes. At least when a democrat is involved.
True. None of the Demonrats EVER consider Pete Hegseth’s or J.D. Vance’s honorable service. They never mention it.
Lars…
What are you trying to say here, “Leaving Hegseth to go after Kelly with a rat fuck admin process.”?
I cannot be the only person on here that does not disagree with you in respect of the Arizona Jackass Astronaut.
Lars, I always appreciate you coming here and revealing the truth…in spite of yourself.
You’re a great source of intel about what’s going on in the supposed “minds” of the left. Makes it much easier for us to enact counter attacks. And given the fact that your side has absolutely no ammo, it’s very easy for us to locate, aim, fire, and sink your arguments.
Quick question; what’s it like to come here and be wrong every time?
Damn boy!!
Yeah,,, that’s it! (NOT)
What is wrong with Kelly’s words goes to intent. For political reasons, he carefully skirted and blurred the intent of the oath we all took: “…I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice.” Clearly Kelly’s intent was to sow doubt in the minds of soldiers as to obeying lawful orders, specifically the President’s orders. In my mind this is treasonous.
You guys know the Brit Administration of Justice Act of 1774? The law that made it possible for Redcoats to be tried for Capital crimes outside of Boston? I’m not 100% alright with suggesting this, but given the hyper partisan nature of our country infecting the court system, it may be necessary to have something similar with certain jurisdictions.
It’s a suggestion that I’m not completely okay with, as the court cases of State of Wisconsin v. Kyle H. Rittenhouse and Rex v. Wemms et al. exist. There was intense social pressure to convict in both cases, yet a verdict of not guilty was rightly given in both. Maybe, change of venue only for the Grand Jury???
So many “what ifs”, so little time.
I’ve heard that the denizens of DC vote D-rat by at least an 80% margin!
IIRC, DC voted 95% for Biden or the Hildabeast. One or the other.
When politicians and O-level scum (but I repeat myself) start getting hard time, we can once again believe that we are in a law-abiding country.
I take consolation that the Judge of the Universe is not persuaded by mens’ arguments.
Wrong click from clipboard.
Much better response.
Doesn’t change the truth of it though!
A couple thoughts. Me thinking, never a good thing..
These heroes thought they would signal their virtue aiming directly at Trump as Commander in Chief, and have zero repercussions just like always.
They were wrong. They got sent into the legal mill with all the expense, inconvenience and anxiety that goes with it. Next time it may be a different Grand Jury in redder climes and go to an actual trial.
They got off, but a message was sent. Also this has no bearing on the administrative workings at DOW, so Kelly’s status is still in play.
