Happy Independence Day! This day, 244 years ago, thirteen British colonial provinces declared themselves as thirteen sovereign states. As such, they had equal footing as the sovereign state of the United Kingdom. The following years saw the patriots and their countrymen make sacrifices. The struggle sill continues as we deal with a leftist movement that wants to remake the United States into a leftist utopia. Here’s hoping to good barbecue and fireworks weather.
