Feral teen freed by America’s ‘wokest prosecutor’ commits another ‘horrific act’ after killing girl in crash

An allegedly violent teen who was not charged by America’s most lenient prosecutor after police say he killed a girl in a car crash allegedly went on to commit yet another heinous act days later.

Conner Michael Iversen, 18, of St. Paul, Minnesota, is accused of causing a fatal two-vehicle crash last week but inexplicably no charges have been filed yet by Hennepin County District Attorney Mary Moriarty.

Just two days later, he was charged for a violent stabbing, marking his third alleged offense in under three months.

Moriarty, a career public defender before becoming district attorney, has faced mounting criticism for her soft-on-crime approach, often prioritizing leniency over public safety.

In a tone-deaf move, she even boldly shared a Facebook post on Monday about how prison reform equates to ‘public safety’.

Her not charging Iversen despite his seemingly reckless disregard for the law has sparked further outrage.

Iversen’s alleged criminal history is lengthy. On December 16, 2024, authorities said he led police on a high-speed chase, reaching speeds of more than 100 mph while recklessly weaving through traffic.

Witnesses reported that the driver was recklessly disregarding traffic laws, illegally passing in a no-passing zone, speeding, using the shoulder to overtake vehicles, and swerving erratically across the road.

He was eventually stopped with police spike strips and arrested, but was still allowed to walk free.

On February 26, at approximately 8 a.m., he allegedly ran a stop sign at the intersection of County Roads 6 and 110 in Independence, T-boning an SUV carrying the Loycano family.

Lilyana Loycano, 11, was critically injured and died two days later. Still, he was able to walk free.

Just 48 hours after Lilyana’s death, Iversen allegedly stabbed a man at Theodore Wirth Parkway and Olson Highway in Golden Valley on February 28.

The victim, who had attempted to help Iversen by offering him a ride, suffered stab wounds to the leg and facial injuries after being struck with a large stick, according to a criminal complaint.

Police later tracked Iversen to a nearby maintenance building, where he had allegedly broken in and was found covered in blood and scratches.

Before authorities located Iversen, investigators suspect he may have broken into a home in the Hidden Lakes neighborhood, stolen an e-bike, and attempted to enter several other residences.

‘Golden Valley is currently investigating multiple burglaries [Friday morning] possibly connected to Iversen,’ the complaint noted.

‘This was surprising because Golden Valley is a real quiet community — you don’t see these things happen often and when they do it kind of alarms people,’ said Golden Valley Police Chief Virgil Green.

Despite his alleged pattern of violence, it took multiple offenses before he was finally jailed — only after public outrage.

Since taking office, Moriarty has repeatedly faced backlash for decisions that prioritize leniency over justice.

In her first week in office, she dismissed charges against a 35-year-old man accused of raping a 14-year-old girl due to a legal technicality, preventing him from ever being retried.

She also pushed for probation instead of prison for Jesse Lietzau, whose fentanyl-laced pills killed 25-year-old Kailey Caspersen, leaving her grieving mother demanding justice.

In the case of Stephen Markey, a man gunned down during a carjacking, Moriarty offered one of the teenage killers just five years of probation, meaning he may never serve a single day in prison.

Despite repeated pleas from victims’ families and public officials — including Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison — Moriarty has refused to change course.

Even when Governor Tim Walz intervened to remove her from a case involving a brutal home invasion murder, she remained defiant. ‘I stand by my decisions,’ Moriarty told the press, dismissing public concerns as mere ‘pushback.’

Only after multiple crimes, including the fatal crash and brutal stabbing, has Iversen finally been held on $50,000 bail.

Glamorous female cop is arrested for shocking act while off-duty

A glamorous Washington State trooper who made a name for herself urging local drivers to remain attentive behind the wheel has been arrested after she allegedly struck and killed a motorcyclist while under the influence of alcohol.

Sarah Clasen, 35, a public information officer for the Washington State Patrol, was taken into custody Saturday night, shortly after Richland police officers responded to the scene of State Route 240 near Horn Rapids, KOMO News reports.

Officers had received a call about a motorcyclist struck near a residential neighborhood at around 7.40pm, but were the second to arrive on the scene, behind the Washington State Patrol, according to KIMA TV.

There, they found motorcyclist Jhoser Sanchez, 20, mortally wounded.

First responders transferred him to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, the Tri-City Herald reports.

When troopers later learned that Clasen was one of their own, the Washington State Patrol turned the investigation over to the local police department, which arrested her and booked her into the Benton County Jail.

The Richland Police Department requested she be held at the jail on a 72-hour hold for vehicular homicide.

She was off-duty at the time of the crash and was driving her personal vehicle, WSP Chief John Batiste noted.

In an affidavit obtained by the Tri-City Herald, Richland Police Officer Steve Heid claimed Clasen smelled of alcohol when he questioned her about the collision.

He detailed how Clasen claimed she was on her way home after picking up pizza from Domino’s and was making a left turn into the neighborhood.

She allegedly said she saw a single light, presumably from the motorcycle, but believed it was a car missing a headlight.

It wasn’t until she made her turn that she felt the collision, which she said seemed to have come out of nowhere, according to the affidavit.

‘Sarah told me that the motorcyclist was definitely going faster than the posted speed limit,’ Heid wrote, noting that the damage to Clasen’s SUV did not align with her story.

She reportedly said she was nearly finished making the turn when the crash occurred, but most of the damage was to the right front passenger corner of the vehicle.

‘She would have just begun to turn at the time of impact,’ Heid wrote.

‘Also, the motorcycle was almost completely under the front of her vehicle as it rested on the side of the highway.’

The officer went on to write that he believed Clasen had an unobstructed view of oncoming traffic and ‘an attentive driver would have been able to see the motorcyclist prior to the collision.’

When he then asked Clasen to perform sobriety tests or submit to a breathalyzer test, she refused.

When Heid asked her a second time, Clasen allegedly said she ‘knows how it works.’

Heid then asked Clasen for clarity, to which she allegedly mentioned a hypothetical situation involving having a glass of wine.

‘I responded at this time by asking her if she had a glass of wine earlier,’ Heid wrote. ‘Sarah told me that she was not going to answer that question.’

The crash comes just over a year after Clasen urged members of the public to be more attentive when they are driving amid an uptick in collisions.

She attributed the rise in crashes in an interview with NBC Right Now as ‘speed, following too closely, distracted driving and of course being impaired.’

The trooper said the bottom line is to just pay attention.

‘I know it’s easy to get distracted by cellphones, radios or occupants in your vehicle,’ she said at the time.

She then urged the public to remain ‘alert and having that be the most important thing you’re doing. Keeping you and the people around you safe.’

Clasen was released on her own recognizance Monday evening, against the request of Benton County Prosecutor Eric Eisinger, as Benton County Superior Court Judge said she is confident the trooper will make her court dates, according to Aiden Whitaker, a reporter for KEPR Action News.

But as part of her release, Clasen is required to wear a blood alcohol monitor bracelet and install an ignition interlock device on her car.

She has also been placed on administrative leave after 14 years with the Washington State Patrol.

‘The Washington State Patrol offers our sincerest condolences to the victim and their loved ones,’ Chief Batiste said in a statement Monday.

‘I have every confidence that the Richland Police Department will investigate this case with great care and professionalism.’

He also expressed gratitude that there were no further injuries and vowed that the State Patrol will cooperate fully with the investigation.

‘We are reminded in times like these that law enforcement officers are not immune from tragedy nor from personal accountability and we urge all motorists to always drive with focus, care and caution.’

Clasen is due back in court on March 12.

Woman Strips Down And Goes Berserk On Southwest Flight To Phoenix

A Southwest Airlines flight from Houston to Phoenix returned to its gate before ever lifting off ground after a passenger stripped naked and began screaming. Captured in a shocking video obtained by KPNX, a woman could be seen completely undressed, pacing the aisle and belligerently yelling before takeoff.

The Houston Police Department confirmed that they received a call at 3:30 p.m. CT on Monday (March 3) that “a passenger took off her clothes on a flight and was causing a disturbance.” Officers responded swiftly, removing the woman from the aircraft and transporting her to the NeuroPsychiatric Center at Harris Health Ben Taub Hospital for evaluation.

“There have been no charges filed, so her name was not released,” police reportedly stated. Southwest also addressed the situation, explaining that local law enforcement met Flight 733 upon its return to the gate due to a “customer situation onboard.”

“Our Teams have reached out to customers onboard the flight to apologize for the delay to their travels,” the airline said in a statement. According to two anonymous passengers who spoke to KPNX, the disruption began just as the aircraft started taxiing. Initially clothed, the woman reportedly walked to the front of the plane and began shouting.

“It was very uncomfortable and really scary,” one passenger recalled. Another traveler shared that the woman expressed a desire to exit the flight before takeoff. “I do remember her saying that she wanted to get off the flight,” they said. Moments later, the woman allegedly started striking parts of the plane, proclaiming she was bipolar, before stripping off her clothes and screaming. “She started, like, jumping up and down, screaming at the top of her lungs,” a witness recounted.

The decision not to press charges left some passengers confused, particularly because there were children allegedly present at the time of the incident. “Considering that she got naked in front of a bunch of kids and anyone else. I’m surprised there weren’t any consequences,” the witness said.

NYPD detective under fire over raunchy pole-dancing video: ‘I have no words’

This cop is really getting NYPD blue.

A detective in the city police department’s special victims’ unit is raising eyebrows after appearing in a raunchy pole-dancing video that’s gone viral, The Post has learned.

Melissa Mercado, a seven-year veteran of New York’s Finest, popped up on a music video published by World Hip Hop, which shows the curvy cop gyrating and shaking her body while wearing only a thong and a skimpy bra.

“I have no words,” one disgusted detective said.

The cop’s controversial twerking performance is in the “Doin That” video by Hempstead rapper S-Quire, whose real name is Phavian Winfield, according to Chartmetric.

“Wanna tell you ’bout a girl named Keisha,” the rapper says on the video. “A– thick. Just want to smash it quick.

“I like the way she’s doing that, the way she’s sliding up the pole,” he adds.

Mercado, a $144,000-a-year grade 3 detective assigned to Bronx special victims, joined the force in 2018, records show.

She is not named in the raunchy video — which has been making the rounds among the rank and file — but law enforcement sources confirmed to The Post that it is her.

Some on the force said it’s Mercado’s business, not the NYPD’s.

“What she’s doing really has nothing to do with her as an employee, as an NYC detective,” a police union source said.

“She’s not wearing NYPD paraphernalia. Nothing in the video says she’s a detective.

“If she is performing for money, if she has a side gig, the job would want to know about that,” the source said.

“The member would be obligated to file an off-duty employment application. I would say nothing she does in the video is the department’s business.”

Another police source defended the scantily clad cop, saying she has “made some good collars” and is “respected by her peers.”

Retired NYPD Special Victims Division Chief Michael Osgood also questioned Mercado’s after-hours twerking gig.

“There’s a line of thinking that what you do off duty, you do off duty,” Osgood said.

“But I think this conduct is unbecoming a police officer. I find it wrong morally if you’re a special victims detective.”

It’s unclear what, if any, department discipline Mercado could face over the sultry performance, but her moonlighting gig isn’t the first time an NYPD cop was caught in a compromising position.

One rookie cop took heat in 2023 when she was caught dancing on the job with a turnstile jumper at an Upper West Side subway station — with her moves posted on three TikTok videos.

It’s unclear if she faced disciplinary action.

In 2022, then-rookie Bronx cop Vera Mekuli was caught on video giving a married lieutenant a lap dance during a rowdy police party — and was transferred to the transit bureau.

She later laughed at her escapades by posing with a copy of The Post story about her newfound fame.

Two female cops were demoted in 2018 after posing with a nearly nude male stripper while in uniform at a Mother’s Day event, while two others faced disciplinary action at their precinct.

Mercado has not responded to requests for comment from The Post.

S-Quire declined to comment on Thursday.

The NYPD did not immediately respond.

“Always with the negative waves Moriarty…ALWAYS WITH THE NEGATIVE WAVES!”
She practically had to be shoved into a wood chipper (ala “Fargo”) to drop charges against a Minnesota State Trooper who justifiably shot a fleeing felon who was dragging a fellow officer in his car as he tried to escape a traffic stop.
She has done absolutely everything she can possibly do to reverse legally arrived at criminal convictions on the basis of what she thinks are “shortcomings in the system” over the history of the state (mostly dominated by White Men) that tend to “target people of color more than people of non-pigmentation” for punishment for crimes that would normally not be punished if the crimes were committed by people who were committing the crimes in a fashion that was not…um….in a place where some people were of a different color, or race….excuse me…um….
Well, I think you get it.
She has no goddamn clue.

I had that issue of Playboy when it was new. Without doubt, Connie was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen, up until that time. Maybe even up until now.

Lock that prosecutor up with the dirtbags that she has released if she thinks they can be rehabilitated.

Bet Ms Thang State Trooper won’t be so glamorous wearing prison orange.

All the flying I did back in the day and never had anybody strip and walk around nekkid. Pity

NYPD’s Finest? Frank Reagan…weeps.

I, too, remember Connie from that mag. (Damn, we’re old, aren’t we) Lucky for her that she didn’t go to Sharon Tate’s house, but not so lucky for her to have a blocked carotid artery at only 48 yo. She is Resting In Peace but the pink ‘stang is probably resting in pieces somewhere. I did find this to share…

The gyrating cop story had an interesting link. They just come to America to do the sexual assaults American’s are willing to do.

IMO animals like that need to be tied to a nice, big pile of dry brush, then light it on fire, because he needs to get used to burning if you know what I mean!

Death penalty for foreign predators. Then send them home in an urn. Probably could use UPS and save a few bucks
