CNN data reporter ‘shocked’ to see that American majority supports DOGE
Harry Enten of CNN described the polling results as “shocking.” A CBS/YouGov poll showed that 54% believe that DOGE should have some influence on government spending and operations. Enten also described how most Americans support DOGE’s efforts to reduce government spending. They also support President Donald Trump’s efforts to reduce the number of bureaucrats working in government agencies.

Not only did the poll show majority support for Musk and DOGE’s influence on government spending, it also showed that a majority approved of President Donald Trump trying to cut staff at government agencies.
CNN anchor Kate Bolduan followed up by asking Enten, “What do they [Americans] believe they’re [DOGE] actually cutting?”
A Washington Post/IPSOS poll of registered voters showed that 42% believe that DOGE is cutting “wasteful” spending, while only 36% believe that the department is cutting “necessary programs.”
Enten pointed out that despite Democrats’ efforts to portray DOGE as cutting necessary federal programs, the public is not buying it.
“Democrats want to argue that the type of spending that Musk is cutting is mainly necessary programs, but that comes in at just 36%. The wasteful spending actually wins the plurality here, at 42%,” Enten said.
The CNN data reporter claimed the public’s belief that Musk and DOGE are cutting wasteful government spending, and not necessary programs, is the reason why the majority of Americans want them to have influence over cutting government spending.

The NWO elitist and the minions in the Propaganda Industrial Complex can’t believe that a majority of people don’t believe them. When John and Jane Q. Public have to put groceries on their credit cards, they don’t want to millions/billions wasted on Sesame Street in Iraq or Drag Shows in Guatemala. I know these programs are essential to their global human trafficking operations, but the rest of us are not perverts.

There is a 1974 Act that allows a simple majority of congress and the senate to approve what Trump wants to cut. So the dimwits have little to say. So all the court cases by the dims could disappear soon. Without the 1974 Act it would require a majority above the filibuster threshold of 60% and that would never happen.
I think the dimwits passed this law to deal with republicans. Now it comes back to bite them.
They were told it would come back to haunt them. And it has. Repeatedly.

A lot of fraud could be stopped if finger prints were used when getting identification cards/ passports, drivers licenses. I don’t think that’s any more invasive than having your photo taken and added to a data base. At least fingerprints don’t change like your photo when you age or change hair color, etc.
We do it for DoD civilian ID and military ID.
