Malachi Love-Robinson; phony doctor
TSO and Andy11M send us a link to the story of Malachi Love-Robinson, an 18-year-old who has been arrested twice for impersonating a doctor in the last year. The first time he was pretending to be a gynecologist, the other day, he was pretending to be holistic charlatan and I guess they arrested him after he treated an undercover cop.
What he didn’t have, authorities say, was a medical license — few 18 year olds do. Now the Florida teen is charged with practicing medicine without a license and theft after he allegedly performed an exam on an undercover agent and took almost $3,500 from an 86-year-old woman seeking treatment for stomach pain. He’s also accused of stealing three checks from her that he cashed for almost $2,800.
Love-Robinson was released on $21,000 bail on Wednesday, one day after his arrest.
“Those are just allegations,” he told The Associated Press in a brief phone interview.
Yeah, well, the police were tipped off because he’d sent a patient to the hospital from his office. She left her purse with the good doctor and discovered that her bank account had been emptied when she was released.
The problems began when they didn’t bother to charge him the first time and let him off with a warning. But, then it’s his right to self-identify as a doctor, isn’t it? It’s a free speech issue, isn’t it?

He should take up law. That profession seems real tolerant of people pretending to be lawyers.
If Obama had a son………….
Maybe he does…..
Snoop-Doogie Howser???
You win the Interweb!
At least he wasn’t pretending to be a pilot or lawyer.
But WAIT, he might be a “Victim of Society lashing out from his oppression” and did so nonviolently and used a more peaceful means of redistributing wealth. That or he self-identified as a Physician and did what he could to support his self esteem in the pursuit of personal fulfillment! I wonder how many libtards will call the criticism of him “racist”?
I’m thinking that Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention pegged this guy, PI. Check the title (on the drum head):
MmmmmYEP!
“Cheap thrills, in the back of my car
Cheap thrills, how fine they are
Cheap thrills, up and down my spine
I need it, I need it cuz it feels so fine
Cheap Thrills!”
god, I need therapy…
I was chatting about Frank the other night!
We used to see him play at the “Palladium” in NYC on 14th Street.
There is a NYU dorm and P.C. Richards there now!
Self-identifies as a doctor?
I have now officially been creeped out until Sunday. Must go get brain bleach.
You all don’t understand. His medical degree was top secret, so he could work under cover. All his academic records were sealed by the CIA, under President Johnson. And then those records were lost in a tragic fire in St. Louis. But he does have a medical tattoo, so he is certainly legit.
Correction: Tragic fire in Ferguson…
Oh WAIT, yeah, his records could have been stored in the CVS Pharmacy when they burnt it down…
Sounds like he would make a good Realtor.
Or one helluva Used Car Salesman!
He was going to be a doctor but he had a few obstacles that he had to overcome. Namely, college and medical school.
A gynecologist? Come on – you guys should give him a few bonus points for that move. Other guys his age go the route of clubbin’ and smooth talkin’.
Word.
This kid is original. Great way to get near some trim, no less.
I could totally see him being the Chief Physician at All-Points Logistics.
yeah, but the kind of trim that thinks it needs curing by the GYN is often trim you don’t even want to get close to…
Good point.
How about the school physician at Berkley? He could give Lars his annual pap smear.
After all, he might be a great option.
I imagine Phildo offers crap insurance plans so that he rake money off the top to fund his addictions.
This dude would work for cheap.
You know, to be entirely fair, he had about as much training as most people involved in holistic quackery. Make him get a license and he can go right back to the whole thing and treat people ‘holistically’
Weeeell….maybe. Maybe not. He only displays a certification. The price for that certification is $285. There is no written or practical exam.
Real physicians (MDs) in addition to school have to take and pass several licensing exams (USMLE Step 1, Step 2 CK, step 2 CS, Step 3)as well as attend and pass internship, years of residency and board certification.(written and practical)
Osteopaths (DOs) have some differences but overall, very similar standards.
The certificate he displays demands that you list your schools attended. I saw nothing about letters of recommendation or demand for official transcripts on the application.
The perp never seems to list any of his academic achievements and only shows the certificate. His specialty in OB/GYN would imply some sort of advanced residency/fellowship completion, but there’s no indication he ever did any such thing.
The practice of medicine is governed and licenses are granted by the individual state’s board of medicine. Nobody can practice in that state without a state issued license.
Federal physicians are a bit different. I won’t bore you with those details.
True.
But federal physicians must still hold a license through a state.
And the state can sanction them if found negligent.
The federal government will argue preemption, but the state can take the license or censure the physician in question.
If this happens, then the licensee can no longer work for the federal government because they do not have a license.
Yeah..like I said…I wasn’t going into the federal rules, but thanks for that.
Fresh meat for the boys at the state pen! Bubba, Thor, Julio and Mr. “Tiny” are gonna be real happy seeing this guy show up! They’ll be able to break him in right!!!
He’s going to discover a whole new meaning to the term “pelvic exam”.
Here’s some more things about the “doctor”:

We may have an on-call physician prospect for the Clinton campaign…
So because he likes looking at womens’ holes, he calls himself a Holistic Doctor. Had he been gay, I’m sure he would have been calling himself a Polistic Doctor.
From the Florida State Medical Board Website:
“Only physicians licensed in Florida can include or offer alternative medicine to their patients. The definition of “practice of medicine” is listed in s. 458.305, Florida Statutes: the diagnosis, treatment, operation, or prescription for any human disease, pain, injury, deformity or other physical or mental condition.”
That’s pretty darn clear.
I’m sure he had a Florida driver’s license.
It doesn’t say WHAT kind of license. ..
lol….his lawyer will love that one

“I’m not a gynecologist but I’ll take a look.”
I’m not a doctor, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night….
Well Mrs Smith, it does taste like gonorrhea, but I’m going to run lab work just to make sure.
This guy’s lightest charge could be practicing medicine w/o a license. A good prosecutor would have a laundry list of charges that would expose him to, oh, 200-300 years.
Damn..Wish I had thought of impersonating a gynecologist when I was 18. Not a real doctor so I could have sent the ugly, fat chicks on their way and concentrated on the hotties.
Florida. Everything happens in Florida.
Personally think this story is better. And yes, it took place in Miami, Florida. And yes, it is a true story. Not urban legend:

ahh…Florida. Home of the do-it-yourself ass cosmetic surgery in a hotel room using Fix-A-Flat and Instant Setting Cement.
Well, what a moron.
This guy is legit. He attended my psychology class, and I was there for his graduation. President Obama sealed his medical training and licensing records. Only accessible by personnel with above top secret clearance.
This kid was recruited straight out of high school, we took him into our top secret university where he did both, complete his high school degree and began his medical training.
Cheese,
Dennis (Denny) Howard Chevalier
UPDATE!!!!! Same old S__t. They always deny and blame someone else. Watch this video and see if the psychopathic behavior is clear as could ever be. When the questions get too tough, he gets up and leaves the heat. Hopefully this young criminal will end up letting Tiny and Thor do a once daily rectal check with their penile thermometers. Follow that by gargling some mansauce daily for maybe 20 years. When he gets released, he can say he’s been to the “Thor, Bubba and Tiny School of Proctology and Oral Surgery”. Then he can legally claim to be a M D…. Medical Dicktaster.
