Aaron Dean was arrested Monday and quickly released on $200,000 bond.

A murder warrant for Aaron Dean, the Fort Worth officer who killed Atatiana Jefferson in her home, recounts what led up to the shooting from the perspective of her 8-year-old nephew.

The boy, who was in the room with Jefferson when she was shot, told a forensic interviewer that he and his aunt were playing video games together about 2:30 a.m. Saturday when she heard noises outside their home in the 1200 block of East Allen Avenue.

A Bridge City man shot his granddaughter’s boyfriend in the groin with a shotgun after the boyfriend forced his way into a house and violently beat the man, authorities said.

Miguel Ramirez, 25, of Marrero, was arrested early Monday at a Kenner hospital where he sought treatment for his wounds, said Capt. Jason Rivarde, spokesman for the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Ramirez is also accused of kidnapping his 22-year-old girlfriend after attacking her grandfather, 66.

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Authorities say the shooting deaths of two people in a South Carolina gas station parking lot happened as a 14-year-old tried to rob a man at gunpoint.

North Charleston Police Maj. Ken Hagge says the teenager and victim were both shot as they fought over the gun Sept. 29.

Hagge says 14-year-old Eisa Shourpaje tried to rob 25-year-old Dashawn Bowens after seeing Bowens take out a large amount of cash at the register at the Valero gas station.

And finally, this one from Chicago’s WGN-TV, and it happened while the Man In Black was on the CTA on his way to the Chicago Marathon:
Marathon runner stops robber on CTA train on his way to the marathon

No way was he going to let that jerk go on scaring people. After the cops arrived, the Good Guy went on to run the full Chicago Marathon. He is a mere 55 years old.

0/0/0 – No one hurt, no one killed, but one thief thoroughly embarrassed at being thwarted by someone twice his age.**

And a quote:
A militia, when properly formed, are in fact the people themselves…and include all men capable of bearing arms. — Richard Henry Lee, Additional Letters from the Federal Framer (1788) at p. 169

That’s one way to clean the gene pool without going full Darwin.
But I read that it’s too late. She/they already have three rug rats, all under 5y.o.
(and the cycle of poverty, violence, and ignorance continues to another generation. so sad)

  2. 5th/77th FA says:

Dallas story is just a shame all the way around. This is the FIRST mention I’ve seen of the girl pointing the weapon at the window. Or that it was a rookie officer.

NOLA; maybe Grandpa shoulda shot the sperm donor in the groin before he made his sperm donation. Why these girls insist on staying with these deadbeats abusive mofos if beyond me. And this one looked like a real winner.

North Charleston; Thug in training taking out another thug? Trash taking out the trash? Claw? Whiz Wheel?

Chicago and the state of Illinois needs to pass some gunz lawz to keep people from using gunz to try and rob people on the train. Chicago Marathon? Wasn’t there a CCR song about that? Better Run Thru The Jungle.

Ft. Worth, not Dallas. And I believe I read the officer had been on the force 18 months.
I keep wondering about a couple of things…the police were called because her door was open. It was about 38 degrees… who leaves their door open then. And she was playing video games with the 8 year old – at 2:30AM?
Again, who has an 8 year old up then?

      • Toxic Deplorable Racist B Woodman says:

        Do you have children?
Sometimes things happen, children don’t want to go to bed, you don’t either,so you both stay up until sunrise. It happens.
As for the door being open at 38 deg, I got nuttin’. But again, things happen.
Why didn’t the cop knock at the door, announce himself? Yes, have his gun out, just in case. But don’t be so quick on the trigger. Explain yourself, ask for ID.
This whole thing was mismanaged by the po-po from the start.
