Former Obama Adviser Says Biden is ‘Serially’ Distorting His Own Record

| September 8, 2019

Uncle Joe is famous for his gaffs, but lately it seems he’s drifting beyond a humorous misstep in his public appearances. His comments on how “poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids” during an event sponsored by the Asian & Latino Coalition PAC came off as condescending, and wasn’t helped by his “Wealthy kids, black kids, Asian kids,” he said. “No, I really mean it, but think how we think about it” follow up.
Earlier, he referred to shootings in Houston and Michigan instead of El Paso and Dayton, and at the end of the debate just a few weeks ago, he inexplicably told supporters to “go to Joe 30330.”
Things are serious when a former Obama advisor like David Axelrod critiques Biden’s campaign.

by Mike LaChance

David Axelrod was a central figure in Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign and worked in the administration as well. For him to be criticizing Biden is, as the former Vice President might say, a big f-ing deal.

This serves as proof that the perception of Biden as a bumbling fool is not just a right wing talking point.

Former Obama Adviser: Biden ‘Serially’ Distorts Own Record

Former Obama White House adviser David Axelrod said in a tweet Thursday that Joe Biden was distorting his own record to a damaging degree.

Linking to a Slate article about Biden’s misleading remarks about when he began opposing the Iraq War, Axelrod wrote Biden was “in danger” of creating a harmful meme about his candidacy.

“It’s one thing to have a well-earned rep for goofy, harmless gaffes,” Axelrod tweeted. “It’s another if you serially distort your own record. @JoeBiden is in danger of creating a more damaging meme.”

This is not an isolated incident. Axelrod went after Biden following the last Democratic debate, saying he seemed confused and defensive.

Joseph A. Wulfsohn reported at FOX News:

David Axelrod says Biden seemed ‘confused’ at debate, seemed ‘part of the past’

Former Obama advisor David Axelrod ripped former Vice President Joe Biden for his debate peformance on Thursday night, saying he appeared “confused” and “defensive.”

During a CNN panel following the second Democratic debate, Axelrod began by expressing it was a “tougher night” for the “seasoned candidates” on the stage.

“They seemed like part of the past rather than the future,” Axelrod explained.

The ex-White House official then took aim at Biden as well as Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-VT.

“At times, the vice president seemed somewhat confused to me in handling some of the questions… He actually seemed a bit defensive,” Axelrod continued. “Bernie Sanders… he might have been a hologram. A lot of what we’ve heard tonight we’ve heard many, many times before.”

Ouch. By criticizing both Biden and Sanders, and Obama silent on endorsing any candidate to date, it seems the Power Dems are backing Warren. The entire article with video may be viewed here: Legal Insurrection

He’s just playing 4D chess. Don’t be distracted while he takes away all our scary black rifles, like he did before. He’s a genius!

That Biden is a lying, mentally incompetent fool is nothing new. He’s been in Congress since the 70’s and was a dim-witted liar from the word go. He’s been wrong on literally everything he’s ever done.

What is new is that Democrats are admitting this, openly.

If Warren is their best candidate, they won’t get anywhere in 2020. She’s a train wreck. Now if they’d put effort behind a more serious candidate. Someone who doesn’t have a track record of lying and someone younger. Gabbard would be my top pick for them, hell she would draw many voters from Trump. Yang would be the only other potential challenger, but that’s ’cause he’s the cadence caller for the Free Shit Army.

Spot on Mason. IMO dTrumpster is walking, breathing proof that the working American is really tired of the career politicians, from both parties, that continue to tax and spend their way to re-election. I found it hard to believe that most of these people got elected in the FIRST place until one realizes they were elected by the FSA, shady dealings, and a lack of people willing and able to afford to run for office. Creepy Joe was just an insurance policy for oblowme, and now the powers that be are allowing the others to chew one another up until closer to the primaries.

Most of what we have seen over the last few election cycles is also proof of the “Deep State” or “Powers that Be” if you will that wants to control who is elected and when. The demon rats have been shady as hell from since forever and the RINOS have helped them. Nixon chose Ford, hoping for insurance against impeachment, Carter upset Ted’s plan for his turn which turned the party faithful against Jimmuh, Reagan was used to let the shadow Bush I continue to run things as he had for decades. Everyone was surprised when Ronnie actually got stuff done. But, again, Ronnie, like Trump, didn’t owe any favors so he did what he thought was best for the country. Bush I rolled over for the Clinton Crime Syndicate to put Blow Job Willie in. Everyone see the pattern here?

And now we have a shady former congress critter and state guvanator mounting a challenge to the Trumpster, showing again, that the real collusion going on in this country is the professional politicians against the citizens. That is where the divisiveness is coming from. The real fight within the demon rats will be which faction gets stronger, the Obamanites or dasHilderbeasts. Pop Corn?

      God Save The Republic!

Not saying I’d vote for her, but she’s a far better candidate for the D ticket than any of the others. She’d siphon off a lot of “moderate” Republicans that buy into the MSM narratives on Trump.

    • Ex-PH2 says:

Oh, I don’t know. Maybe I should throw my hat into the ring, too. Most of what these bozos do is playacting, anyway. And I could get a license plus a CCW without telling any of them, and then after I got elected, get some range time every day at Bolling AFB’s shooting range. Scare the pants off them, y’see.
And then there’d be all those secret, behind closed doors calls to the prior President (what was his name, again?) for advice, just like Jack Kennedy did when he wanted advice from Eisenhower about the Navy embargo of Cuba, before he set things in motion.
And I”m one of the people, after all – retired, living (successfully) on a modest income, very environment-conscious, and I know where my food comes from. I’m female, I know how to make a budget work, I’m short and I have all this wisdom that would certainly let me tame the more boisterous idiots in the House of Reps, and I have a cat. And I was in the Navy. I also cook.

      What more could you want?

Just waiting to see what steps out of the shadows to “save” the Donk party.

Darth Hillary would surprise me not at all. But more likely, she will tap whomever is most obediently likely to keep her out of court.

She has been pretty cosy with Warren, I believe. But I suspect there may be another.

Always there are two, a master and an apprentice.

IMHO saying that Joe “Hairplugs” Biden is full of shit is like saying that fire is hot, water is wet and shit stinks, ditto with every other candidate the DNC is running. Now that the DNC Lackeys in the mainstream mess media have stopped pimping “Hairplugs” Biden I’m sure they’ll start pimping “Fakeahontas” Warren.

  7. CDR_D says:

Biden has always been full of shit, and it ought to be obvious to any sentient being. He is so full of shit that it just oozes out every time he opens his mouth.

  8. Wilted Willy says:

I will never forget the story my Pa told me when he was mayor of a small town in Colorado named Oak Creek. It seems old hairplugs and a congressional delegation showed up in town about building a dam in the Yampa Valley. Of course, my dear old Pa took them all on a little fishing trip and Pa laughed at how hairplugs couldn’t even put a worm on his hook! My Pa had to bait his hook for him all day long! Pa couldn’t believe that anyone could be that fucking stupid! He never forgot him……

I’ve met a few Congresspeople over the years (mostly from the D-side, but a couple Rs). Let’s just say that it’s obvious there’s no intelligence test to get into office. All the smart people are the chiefs of staff and other behind-the-scenes real power brokers.

      • 26Limabeans says:

        “behind-the-scenes real power brokers”

When I was a kid I would focus on the
puppeteer standing behind the crude scene.
The puppets were a distraction while the
man pulling the strings was the real show.

Turned out to be a wise observation.
