Judge Gives Stolen Valor Convicts Unique Sentences
Two men were convicted of crimes but because they also claimed false military status the judge, Judge Greg Pinski, also put some unique requirements on their sentences.
Ryan Morris and Troy Nelson both claimed to be military veterans to try and receive lesser sentences and establish eligibility to enter Judge Pinski’s Veterans Treatment Court. It didn’t work.
Besides making them watch a video as a fake was confronted, Pinski added:
Both men must wear a sign at the Montana Veterans Memorial during each Memorial Day and Veterans Day ceremony while they are under court supervision; the signs will read: I AM A LIAR. I AM NOT A VETERAN. I STOLE VALOR. I DISHONORED ALL VETERANS.
In addition, they will be required to complete the following:
– Hand-write the names of all 6,756 Americans killed in Iraq and Afghanistan wars
– Hand-write the obituaries of the 40 Montanans killed in Iraq and Afghanistan wars
– Write letters of apology to the following organizations: American Legion, AmVets, Disabled American Veterans, the Iraq & Afghanistan Veterans of America, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Vietnam Veterans of America
– 441 hours of community service
Justice can be sweet. Kudos to Judge Pinski.

CLONE Judge Pinski….
Good on the judge for adding the public humiliation on Memorial and Veteran’s Day. Maybe if we had more judges handing out punishments like that to valor vultures, we’d have fewer people riding the phony pony
There will be an appeal… cruel and unusual punishment! //sarc
I thought the judge wiuld offer: “go to war, or go to jail.”
Are you sure you’d want these type watching your back???Just saying..
Mine cleaners. Kaboom
BOOM!
Justice served.
And THAT’S how you do that!
Geez…. How come he had to be so lenient??? 🙂
Snort…… Snort…….
I think the judge was being kind and reasonable. A more aggressive approach is also appropriate, e.g., walking the distance (no rides, period) to a from a veteran’s funeral holding up one of those signs.
It will be struck down on appeal I believe. Unfortunate, but true, if they do appeal. Hopefully, they don’t.
It’s Montana, not Commiefornia B-)
OUTSTANDING
I’m sure the ACLU will sue to have the sentence reversed, because it’s mean or something, but damn good on the judge for trying!
EPIC!
Thank you Judge Pinski.
It looks to me that the stolen valor video Judge Pinski made those two phony’s watch was the one about that fat ass Sean Yetman.
Ya’ll remember him, right? The turd w/3 CIBs who was shopping with his Sergeant Major at a Philadelphia mall on Black Friday.
You’re good to go in my book, Judge Pinski!!
Yes! The obese ‘ operator’ who’s MOS was “Going out on missions and killing the bad guys”
Wait, that’s an MOS? How do I reclass into it?
I wish I would have been a 92G. I’d be eating better today.
WOW
Cool beans! I hope that they end up with jail time if they decide to bawl and appeal.
How about requiring them to go through a gauntlet composed of every vet in America. My fire hose from Shellback initiation needs a workout.
They need some “truth serum” from a good, old fashioned CPO Initiation… to go with the Shillelagh!
Perhaps Lester Kent Brown should get a copy of this judgment.
It is about time that the makes these fakes pay for the Honor that they have stolen. It’s not a “Right” to serve One’s country. It’s a Privilege, don’t dishoner the uniform or those who have served with Pride. It doesn’t matter which military that you serve as long as you do so with Honor and Respect.
Let the punishment fit the crime! I like it.
Anybody up for a Road Trip to Montana this November or next May?
Loser Motherfuckers.
I wonder if they are keeping their affiliation with All-Points Logistics under wraps…?
Yeah, but after Thor,Bubba, Julio and Mr. Tiny get through with ’em, they’ll be “looser” mofos.
Way to go Judge Pinski.
Any ONE of those would be harsh for anybody with a shred of honor. Add them all together and, wow. Nice work, Judge.
Thank you judge Pinski….
A more humane Mikado never
Did in Japan exist,
To nobody second,
I’m certainly reckoned
A true philanthropist.
It is my very humane endeavour
To make, to some extent,
Each evil liver
A running river
Of harmless merriment.
My object all sublime
I shall achieve in time —
To let the punishment fit the crime —
The punishment fit the crime;
And make each prisoner pent
Unwillingly represent
A source of innocent merriment!
Of innocent merriment!
All prosy dull society sinners,
Who chatter and bleat and bore,
Are sent to hear sermons
From mystical Germans
Who preach from ten till four.
The amateur tenor, whose vocal villainies
All desire to shirk,
Shall, during off-hours,
Exhibit his powers
To Madame Tussaud’s waxwork.
The lady who dyes a chemical yellow
Or stains her grey hair puce,
Or pinches her figure,
Is painted with vigour
And permanent walnut juice.
The idiot who, in railway carriages,
Scribbles on window-panes,
We only suffer
To ride on a buffer
In Parliamentary trains
My object all sublime
I shall achieve in time —
To let the punishment fit the crime —
The punishment fit the crime;
And make each prisoner pent
Unwillingly represent
A source of innocent merriment!
Of innocent merriment!
His object all sublime
He will achieve in time —
To let the punishment fit the crime —
The punishment fit the crime;
And make each prisoner pent
Unwillingly represent
A source of innocent merriment!
Of innocent merriment!

Should make them clean war memorials and Veteran’s grave markers for a year as well 🇨🇦
That is an awesome idea!!! Wish that was part of it too.
As a three years in Vietnam veteran,I see this as one great way to make some amends.

No. They’re not worthy to even touch the granite or marble thereof.
But they can pick up litter and dog shit in those areas.
