Explosions in Russia Leave Dead and Injured
A rocket engine exploded at Russian base in Siberia near Severodvinsk.
2 are dead, 4 are badly injured. The rocket engine explosion followed a massive fire that erupted Monday at a military ammunition depot near Achinsk in eastern Siberia’s Krasnoyarsk region.
The ammo dump fire triggered powerful explosions that continued for about 16 hours, killing one person, injuring another 13 and forcing over 16,500 people to flee their homes.
This link at Siberian Times has a series of photos as well as a video of the ammo dump explosion: http://siberiantimes.com/other/others/news/one-dead-seven-wounded-including-a-child-with-shrapnel-wounds-and-burns/
The shock wave from the explosion is very visible. 1 dead, 13 injured.
Be careful with those splodey things you handle, especially around kids. Those things aren’t toys.
Rest in Peace, those who died in these accidents, and may those who were injured recover and move on.

They could have used an ammunition storage expert.
We have right one there in Elko NV.
Yeah, that’s all well and good. But I just wonder how many times the Brown Stain failed the 55B MOS/SQT test though, him being a non-high school grad and not a math whiz when it comes to adding up total years in service./s
Damn, beat me to it! That’s what I get for reading all the linkies.
Boris…”Hey Ivan you have a light?”
Ivan….”Here, I’ll flick my Bic!”
Boris…”I meant a flashli—KA-BOOM!
Tovarich…hold my vodka!
As we used to say when I was on Ladder 2, you can put out any fire with two cans and a six foot hook “IF” you get there earlier enough
What did they say on Ladder 1?
“Shoulda got here sooner.”
“I don’t know”
“Third ladder!”
When I Joined the LBFD after leaving another Dept. Ladder 1 was already out of service and we just had Ladder 2 and Snorkel which was taken out of service and a Mack 75 foot tower Ladder was purchased. We had a few FDNY members that also were LBFD Vollies whom were on the truck design committee and when the new rig came in, you couldn’t tell it apart from an FDNY Tower. Even had a Pompier (scaling ladder) mounted on the side.
Pompier ladders are a hoot! (if a bit of a pucker factor) lol
In Maine they are called Deer stands.
Russia ain’t having the best of luck with their new toys.
How much are they going to push this dream just to upset the established order?
Russia’s undies are in a bunch about a lot of things right now.
“The ministry said there was no release of radioactivity or any toxic substances…”
(Unh huh, right so why this….)

Data cited by Greenpeace from Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations showed radiation levels rose 20 times above the normal level in the city, about 18 miles from the testing site. – photo caption.
Ummm… would’t have anything to do with a nuclear warhead, would it? Nah, they wouldn’t do that… would they?
And the truth starts to come out…
https://americanmilitarynews.com/2019/08/russia-admits-nuclear-reactor-blew-up-during-missile-test-250-miles-from-moscow/?utm_campaign=alt&utm_source=amn&utm_medium=facebook&fbclid=IwAR0QIOxmGVoJL7FktBbzOLJzMwoCvbFX3T2N7jaZE6AH6lrpYNIjwMHi7Q0
History has shown that the Russkies have nearly always given safety a back seat on the proverbial bus, just look at the horribly contaminated sites from their past Nuclear R&D which make ours look tame!
“Institute Director Valentin Kostyukov said the five scientists killed in the blast were “elite of the Russian Federal Nuclear Center” and considered heroes, The Guardian reported Monday.”
I don’t think that plume was a steam release.
That shock wave in the last video is clearly too large for an ordinary explosion.
If it went critical there would be a
signature easily recovered.
Time will tell…or not.
“…nuclear reactor involved in powering a cruise missile.”
Wonder if that was some of the uranium they bought from The Bitch of Benghazi?
Cruise or any sort of missile with a nuke propulsion system and a nuke warhead cannot bode well.
The video of the Shockwave does not involve a nuclear reactor. Correct me if I’m wrong oh, but the ammo dump explosion was at a different location than the Rooskie Naval base.
The two explosions took place within a few minutes of each other.
Is it possible that they just left off the 4 zeros following the numbers they gave for dead and injured? Maybe they thought everyone would know the true figures.
Were they training Norks? Ragheads?
Nah. They were doing something too precious for the Norks or the others to know anything about the subject.
Besides, Faty Kim da T’ird has his own nuclear people. Remember his 500 kiloton bomb inside a mountain a couple of years ago? He don’t need no Russians to help him out.
Explosion and radioactivity release, ammo dump explosion, blackout in London, Epstein found dead. This is like Christmas for Jesse Ventura.
Here’s a link to the London blackout. The national grid completely failed. All they needed was the decoy balloons and sirens to complete the picture.

Speculation is a cruise missile with a nuclear -propulsion- system.
We looked into that in the 50s, but couldn’t avoid leaving a radwaste wake for anything “jet” or “rocket”. “Unhealthy for folks below”. Prop-jobs can be nuc-elec, but crashes are … epic messy.
Vlad was bragging about having something new that invalidated our defenses. Looks like they still have some quality issues to work out.
Ya think? 🙂 🙂 🙂
