Looks like the schedule got thrown off a bit by the holiday and the WOT for Friday got missed, so here it is.
I saw a report of that idiotic attempt by Swallowswell to scare people into accepting weapons confiscation – a violation of the 2nd Amendment – by putting out a twitterpated poll asking people if they were in favor of it. The responses were 21% in favor and 79% NOT IN FAVOR of it, just under 120,000 responses in total. He also used that ‘we got nukes!’ thing he’s so fond of. I think he should be given a choice between getting some professional help with his raging egomania problem or stepping down from his job paid for by The People of This Country.
Glad I didn’t have to vote for that useless bugger. Haven’t seen much coming out of Corey “not Spartacus!” Booker, but he must be busy studying for his next debate.
We had lots of neighborhood fireworks last night. Scared the hair off the cats. They hid in my bathtub.

Some needs to tell Swallwall that gun confiscation has been tried already and it didn’t really work. I read somewhere that American citizens, I think in Massachusetts, were asked to turn their guns and ammo over to the government. It was back in 1775 or thereabouts.

The remake of the Mid 70’s movie “Midway” is on tap for November 8’Th 2019, and I cannot wait.
The producer of the first Midway wrecked that entire movie by making the sniveling punk that was supposed to be Charlton Heston’s son the center of the movie.
They totally wrecked it as it was the opening salvo in the America is horribly bad preachy, slimy, royal pain in the ass PC bullshit that we are saddled with today.

That looks good. I know that the bulk of it is CGI, but it appears to be done well, from what little is in the preview.
Being behind on buying movies, my list is getting longer.
Much of the “ships sailing” and “battle” footage was recycled from “Tora! Tora! Tora!”.

Swallowswell keeps using the nuke thing as if it was his weapon to use. He needs to be reminded that we took an oath to the Constitution, not the president and certainly not any members of Congress and the Second Amendment is a part of that document. I seriously doubt the military would take up arms against those defending the Constitution.
