Doing well. Planning on barbecuing, drinking some Yuengling and smoking several cigars. Thanks to all the members of TAH for preserving what our founders wrought 243 years ago. 🇺🇸🇺🇸
My God! He’s killing Yuenglings!
Happy 4th, Blue Cord Dad.
Thanks my friend!! You have a good ‘un
Happy Birthday to The United States of America…My Country tis of Thee…The Land that I Love!
I, too, plan on playing Rogue Jedi Knight, slaughtering Yuenglings. Gotta make room in the Ice box for their orphaned brothers and sisters. Adopted another family of them on Monday past.
Thank God for the 56 men who had the ‘nads to stand up to the most powerful nation on Earth and Pledge their Lives, Fortunes, and their Sacred Honor in a quest for freedom. Most of them lost everything but their Sacred Honor.
The sacrifices of the Military Men and Women since then has allowed the howler monkeys the freedom to howl. For every silver lining, there is a cloud.
The wailing of the enemies of Liberty is music to the ears of the Free man.
Proclaim liberty throughout all the land, unto the inhabitants thereof. – Leviticus 25:10
Happy Independence Day, America, and to all in the world who desire liberty.
Happy Independence Day to each of you! God bless you all and bless the United States of America.
If sesquicentennial is a 150 years and bicentennial is 200 years what is 250 years?
Back for the Bicentennial in 1975-76, the US Mint held a competition and minted and released redesigned dual dated Quarters, Half Dollars, and Dollar Coins for the Bicentennial. They even went so far to mints some uncirculated and Proof versions in 40% silver. For almost two decades w.ve been respinning the Quarter first for individual States/Territories and later National Parks/Sites.
This year the Mints is throwing a wrinkle into it. First they are minting 2 million of each version at the West Point bullion depository with a W mintmark and are salting them into mint bags that are being released for circulation through the Fed creating instant rarities spread around the country.
The second new wrinkle involves the Proof Sets sold by the Mint. For a few decades (~1992) now they have been creating and selling Silver Proof sets, where the silver coins included in it; dime, quarter, and half were made from the pre 1965 90% silver (.900 fine). This year 2019, they switched that up and the “silver coins” dimes, quarters and halves are in 99% silver (.999 fine) a first for these coins.
I wonder what is in store for us in 2026 and the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence?
I guess you can’t please everyone, Malcontents like some of the below. online Newsweek article. ‘Sick Of Using Us As Props’: Veteran Calls Trump’s July 4 Military-Style Celebration ‘Insanely Inappropriate’ President Donald Trump Veterans have spoken out against President Donald Trump’s “A Salute to America” July 4 celebration employing tanks and fighter jets as wrongfully using military equipment as “props” and as absolutely and insanely inappropriate. Trump is being criticized for ordering a military-style celebration with stationed tanks on display and Air Force One and Blue Angels flyovers while he delivers a speech at Lincoln Memorial in the evening. More from Newsweek Veterans Tell Donald Trump They ‘Feel Deeply Betrayed’ in July 4 Video… If Donald Trump Turns July 4 Parade into Campaign Rally, Military… Having military personnel transport tanks from distant bases to Washington, D.C., over Fourth of July week is “insanely inappropriate,” Marine Corps veteran Kyle Bibby told Newsweek on Wednesday, “And flies in the face of everything that I understood about training as Marines.” “We just don’t do that,” Bibby, 33, said. “We just don’t do parades, there’s no tactical training value in that.” Bibby, who was a captain and had a deployment in Afghanistan in 2010, acknowledged that military equipment is used for events like Fleet Week “but it’s never about an individual person, they don’t have a political party handing out tickets.” Trump’s celebration is public but the Republican National Committee received prime seating tickets to pass out, turning it into a campaign rally of sorts. “A lot of veterans are just really sick of it, they’re sick of using us as props and using all of our equipment for them to just look tough, even if they themselves are draft dodgers,” Bibby said, taking a jab at Trump, who received a bone spurs diagnosis and was exempt from serving in the Vietnam War. Bibby, a lead organizer with the veteran advocacy group Common Defense which opposes Trump and made a July 4 video with the Need to Impeach campaign calling for Trump’s impeachment, concluded that the president involving the military is a “huge waste.”… Read more »

Distant base? I assume they came from Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, roughly 80 miles, avoiding tolls.
