His Wholliness Kim Jong-Un

From NDTV in India, comes this news:  https://www.ndtv.com/world-news/north-korea-executed-5-officials-after-failed-trump-summit-report-2045791

The Norks executed 5 officials, including members of the military, after Fatty Kim da T’ird was displeased with their failure to get what His Stoutieness wanted. Back to their old tricks, they are.  https://www.foxnews.com/world/north-korea-executes-5-officials-over-failed-kim-trump-summit-south-korean-media

North Korea has executed five officials for their part in the failed second summit between President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, according to a South Korean newspaper.

Kim Hyok Chol, North Korea’s special envoy to the U.S., was executed by firing squad in March for being “won over by the American imperialists to betray the supreme leader”, according to the Chosun Ilbo.  The NYSlimes and WaPo are trying to cast doubt on the reports, but I’d take the New Delhi news source and South Korea’s word for it well ahead of those two silly fishwrap rags.

So the Special Train Ride To Hanoi in the special Green Car was insufficient for ND:tBF, His Girthness, despite his close, personal encounter with Pres. Trump.  Mr. Bolton, who is a regular target of criticism by the Nork government, has said the missile tests were unnecessary, and that the low altitude and downrange trajectory may be a violation of UN Security Council regulations against North Korea.  https://www.reuters.com/article/us-northkorea-missiles/north-korea-says-boltons-missile-comments-more-than-ignorant-kcna-idUSKCN1SX06C

While there is some conflict there over the “what’ and “wherefore” of those missiles, the Norks / Fatty Kim da T’ird had agreed to drop the missile test flights.

Originally, Norkiland was dependent on other countries such as Ukraine and China for its missile technology, https://www.nti.org/learn/countries/north-korea/delivery-systems/ but has learned to reverse engineer just about everything it has acquired from outside sources and builds its own. It has a notoriously noted group of people whose lives are entirely dedicated to hacking systems and security blocks, and are probably responsible for the theft of $81 millions from the Bangla Desh account at the New York Federal Reserve bank a couple of years ago.

Now he’s back to doing what he was doing before he met with Pres. Trump in Hanoi.  If even I knew that was likely to happen, why are the media so surprised about it?

Life as usual in North Korea.

    MacArthur was right…..
Should have nuked him when we had the chance…

And then waited for the dust to settle, and nuked the place again.

So turn it to glass, then do it again? Double pane windows are more insulating, so it’d be environmentally friendly.

    • Dustoff says:

Exactly, we were the only nation at the time to have nukes. But alas Truman was afraid of what Stalin might do to Western Europe.

      • Hondo says:

Actually, we weren’t the only nation with nukes during the early part of the Korean War. The Soviet Union detonated its first nuclear device – essentially a copy of the device tested at Trinity – in mid-1949. We shoved that same design into a bomb case, added an altitude fuse, and used it at Nagasaki. The Soviets did likewise to produce their initial deployable nuclear weapons.

The Soviet espionage program during World War II targeting the Manhattan Project had given them probably a 5 year jump-start in building nuclear weapons. It also saved them God knows how many rubles in basic research.

The Soviets didn’t have many nukes in 1950, but even a few was enough to make us think twice about using nukes against another Communist state allied with the Soviet Union. And as you noted, there was always the problem of what they’d do in Europe.

How long before the seagull shows up over here to spread more of his Orange Man Bad crap.

Everyone knows that it is that tool of the Capitalists that is keeping down the peace loving people of North Korea and their Benevolent Turd of a Kind Dear Leader.

My opinion is that the Chinese and Ruskies help Kim Cheese along to be a thorn in our side and as a distraction from THEIR goals of the destruction of our way of life and world domination.

If one ever needed a side by side comparison of Freedom and Military Dictatorship, look no further than the Koreas.

Turn the ROK Army loose on his ass.

The execution story is fake news…

    • Ex-PH2 says:

Fake news? I don’t think so. You may be confusing a top Nork official Kim Yong Chol, who did appear recently at a concert with Kim Jong-Un, with Kim Hyok Chol, who has disappeared, along with four other officials. Kim Yong Chol was sent to a labor camp for failing negotiations with Trump at the recent Hanoi conference.

      Per ABC news:
Last week, South Korean newspaper Chosun Ilbo cited an unidentified source in reporting that Kim Yong Chol had been sentenced to hard labor and ideological re-education over the failed summit in Hanoi, Vietnam’s capital. The newspaper also reported that senior envoy Kim Hyok Chol, who was involved in pre-summit working-level talks with American officials, was executed with four other officials from the North’s Foreign Ministry for betraying Kim Jong Un after being won over by the United States.
None of the allegedly executed officials have appeared in state media since the report.

While I don’t consider ABC News to be the most reliable resource these days, unless one of the missing five turns up, it’s more likely they were executed than now.

Tell that to the Olympiians that failed to bring home the gold.

  5. JTB says:

I will stick by my comment…I see no reliable info this occurred…

    • Ex-PH2 says:

Please do so. I am scouring reliable sources to find out whether or not the story is true, or was written up because five people in ND:tBF’s cortege have not been seen in recent weeks.
