If Maduro had a daughter.
Unless you’re hibernating, you are probably aware that there is new turmoil in Venezuela. Juan Guaido has been joined by members of Venezuela’s military, and a member of their Secret Police has written a letter stating that he will no longer support Maduro. The letter was confirmed by an ‘unidentified senior US official’ as genuine.

I mentioned the Monroe Doctrine a few days ago. Both Russia and China have people meddling in South American countries. Argentina’s once-thriving economy is slowly imploding, and Brazil’s is following that same path unless it’s current government can correct the slide. Interference by China and Russia won’t bolster the economies of any country but their own. We don’t need to send troops down there.
Stock up on popcorn, ice cream and snacks, and buckle your seat belt. It’s gonna be a bumpy ride.

Ceaucescu, his wife and his chosen elite lived like Royalty while most of the population of Romania lived in poverty, now here we have Maduro and his cronies in the lap of luxury while people are eating garbage to survive, here’s hoping Maduro and his inner circle end up like the Ceaucescus!

Just remember, Bernie Sanders said some time back that it’s good to see people line up for bread. If that does not make him the dumbest thing ever cranked out, then what is he?

When the word “embargo” was voiced, I had a brief flashback to Jack Kennedy’s address to the nation regarding his naval blockade of Cuba during the Cuban missile crisis.
I regard Obama’s legacy at roughly the same level as I do skidmarked underwear.

Yet, somehow, the local news was reporting this morning that Maduro was winning…
The newsies also are parroting the line of the brutal dictator (who was lawfully ousted by his own duly elected assembly) that this is a coup.
Which of course it isn’t. A coup is an attack against the legally recognized government, with the intent to oust it and take over. Maduro faked the last election, so he has no legitimacy. This is civil war to topple a dictator, not a coup.
So that’s where Baghdad Bob ended up!

More of my deputy stories. Just as you guys fear me, the people living in my patrol area feared me. It all started when I tried to drop something off at a donation center. They would not accept it. I threw it on the floor and screamed that it was theirs now. I stormed out of there. I get a call on my radio to respond to an incident. It was the address of the donation center. I walked in and found the guy that would have called the dispatcher. I grabbed him and beat him up. When I got done, I felt iconoclastic. I left there feeling empowered. Later, there was this call on a domestic violence. I rolled into the driveway to see a woman holding a sock around a man’s neck. I got out of the cruiser and walked up to her. I told her that a sock is not going to restrain a violent man. Once she removed the sock, I beat him up. The man insisted that he was not the violent one. Yeah, sure, they all say that. I told him to just be a man and take it. After that, people started to tip me. I took that as a compliment. I went easy on the folk who tipped me. I needed the money. Let many of them off with just a warning if they tipped me well. I loved cruising the bad neighborhoods. Plenty of tippers there. There was one time where I drove someone to the station. I thought that he wasn’t going to tip me. Sure enough, he had no tips. I got angry. If you can not tip the deputy for taking you to the station, do not do the crime at all! I stopped the car, dragged him out, then gave him a good old fashioned cop beat down. I felt pyroclastic after that. The station got jealous that I was getting generous tips. They did not get any.
