0/2/1, low odds, Broke in home, got shot, in hospital, well at least off the streets for a while, now has new souvenir to show off. “but he led took off and led a chase” hey reporter, proof read, proof read, things like this out to make mom proud of all the money spent on your college edumacashun. Oh well another off the streets and new hole in body. “Suspect who they believe was shot”, wonder what gave them a clue as to this observation, some days you just have to sit back and wonder at folks. This one will be off the streets for a bit healing and replenishing blood supply, need to go back to lead bullets or frog poison for better cure. Out of here for now. Will ck back for any tasks to do.
I can’t wait for Sister Mary’s analysis of the article above? Time to break out the 12″ ruler!
“LMPD’s initial investigation found a white male broke into the house at that location through a window, and the homeowner confronted and shot him.” Louisville, KY
Sister Mary Grace wants to know if these reporters (and she uses that term loosely here) have ever heard of clarity involving the use of the word “that”. “LMPD’s initial investigation found THAT a white male broke into the house…”
“…a homeowner on Blue Sewannee Road called 911COMMA saying THAT a man charged at him.” Also, “reporting” would be more appropriate than “saying”.
I pity the English language. There are those in the current crop of young media mavens who think that Shakespeare’s plays are written in a foreign language.
Interesting, in the Louisville article the perp is a ‘white male’. You rarely see race called out in a description for some reason.
Potential perps musta known that there would be a sample of the design of the Sainted Brother John Moses Browning (Howitzer be his name) so they laid low over the weekend.
A design time tested to do the job for warriors everywhere, unencumbered by gee gaws, bling, peripheral add ons, and not made of (the horror) petrochemical derived materials.
Let us now turn in His Book to Rev: you know the Chapter and Verse. We will offer up an appeal that the score will be more in our favor as the week progresses.
Yeah they missed one in Florida of Deputy getting his hair parted and shooter getting headstone. Was a barrage of gunfire at suspect but does not say how many by Deputies but 4 by perp. Oh heck another demerit from AW for this post. Interesting event I believe was in that sanctuary state on west coast as to gangs came together to do something for kids and was no problems during the event or no news as to anything after.
Did Sig profane Americas’ fighting pistol by putting a RAIL on it?
Horrors!
FWIW, Dad – who used a 1911 in WWII – didn’t like it as much as the Walther P38. When he captured one (and the German officer who carried it) he replaced the 1911 with the P38 and used it the rest of the war – then taught us boys to shoot with it.
That’s a nice looking Sig .45 1911. Didn’t know Sig made one. I fired a Colt 1911 while on a pistol team for the 3rd Armored Division and loved it.
I couldn’t find where the above handgun was used in the article, so I was puzzled as to why a picture of it was used to head the story. Did I miss something?
