Man Rapes Woman, Offers to do Work for Her to Make Up
The South Florida Sun Sentinel reports that Timothy Adam Walding was only 18 years old when he decided to break into a woman’s home and rape her. He had this planed out. At 4 in the morning, the victim found him by her bedside. He threatened her with a knife, tied her up and sexually assaulted her.
He did his precautions. He used the right equipment to break into her home, donned a mask, then went about his work. After raping her, he “stuck around”. She asked him not to kill her. He responded that he didn’t want to leave her children without a mother. During the course of the conversation, she figures that he was young. The conversation continues until she figures out who she is.
He even tells her that she should’ve dead-bolted her door as he didn’t want to do what he just did to her. He had to do it though. He offers to make amends by asking her if he could do any yard work or house work for her. Naturally, she refused his offer. He even gets her to “agree” to not talk to anybody about what happened. They shake hands on it. He leaves thinking that his tracks are covered.
Not long after that, the police are notified. They arrive, pick him up, then take him to the grey bar hotel.
More from the Florida Sun Sentinel:
In the case prosecuted by Assistant State Attorney Kristen Grimes, Walding was found guilty as charged of: sexual battery with a deadly weapon/physical force; false imprisonment while in possession of a weapon; and burglary with assault or battery while armed.
For the rape conviction, Walding received a mandatory minimum sentence of 50 years, with credit for nearly 18 months already spent in custody.
Under state law, Walding must serve each day of his punishment without the possibility of a shorter term for good behavior.
Walding’s sentences for the other two counts will run at the same time, Judge Weiss said.
Walding also has been declared a sexual predator.
He’s going to have plenty of time to reflect on his actions. You could read the story here and over here.

Well, that’s just one of them off the street. I wonder what kinds of work programs will be available 50 years from now.
Plenty of time for “Yardwork” now.
I don’t think the deadbolt on his cell is going to protect him from the fans he will have where he is now…hope he likes meeting Mr. Tiny…LOL
“For the rape conviction, Walding received a mandatory minimum sentence of 50 years, with credit for nearly 18 months already spent in custody.”
That’s a LOT of dates with Bubba, Thor, Julio and “Tiny Tyrone” before they rent him out to the rest of his cell block, rapists don’t have it easy in prison either! I wonder how many packs of cigarettes some other convict will offer in order to “pop his cherry”?
API, I’m pretty sure that cherry got popped during his 18 months in the other lockup.
What I liked was the statement that he would serve every day of his sentence, Lots and lots and lots of date with Bubba and the boys. Wonder if he thinks it was worth it?
The down side of that is of interest avoid that outcome he joins the AB and learns to kill…or get killed. I just hope it’s not a guard who pays the price here.
All the more reason to delete this piece of shit from the population.
That’s exactly where I was going with that…
That should be referred to as his “brown cherry”.
To hell with this dude.
The taxpayers have to support his confinement.
Seems to me that a more appropriate minimum sentence would be a minimum of fifty rounds fired by his executioners. That or a mandate that the executioner’s weapon be a .50 BMG.
As for the circumstances of the offense…ain’t this piece of shit just a special kind of odd? There’s crazy, there’s stupid… Clearly the boy ain’t right. In any case, put him down like any other rabid animal.
Like this little Canadian package of fury – the Lynx 50 cal:
Is it weird that I have a boner?
It’d be weird if you didn’t.
Wow, My Christmas list just got a new addition.
Wow, My Christmas list just got reduced to one item. Make that two items. Gotta have ammo. Reminds me I haven’t been shooting in a while. Last time I went to the range, my hands and wrists were black from GSR. Good thing no cop had to conduct a GSR test.
That is impressive.
That video caused a medical problem for me…..heart rate increase, shortness of breath, and there is some swelling going on.
I hope some of them flew south this last winter, they really are cool AF!
I’d love to see a .338 LM version too
Yet another thing the Soviet Socialist Republik of California has declared to be too much fun for us common plebs. No .50 BMGs for you, all because of a fake stunt shot in a dumbass movie.
All I have to do to own this baby is win the Powerball.
If I win the PowerBall/MegaMillions… I’m gonna get TWO!!!
Just ’cause I CAN! 😛
There’s a LAY-A-WAY plan for it!!!!!

He looks like Adam Lanza’s brother. Take from that what you will. And what should be done about it.
Boy, you sure got a purty mouth …
And that was from the warden. Gonna be a long 50 uears, junior.
50 years for rape, while there are others who get less than 20 for murder. Hmmm, things are a bit out of proportion me thinks.
Very generous to let him off the 18 months already spent inside.
What a total pos lowlife scum-also where is parents or non parents at?
I remember when this case first happened and I read about his claim that she didn’t lock the deadbolt, so she deserved to be attacked.
My kids always thought I was crazy for always locking the door even when they just went out to walk the dog for five minutes.
Now the rule in my house is that the deadbolt has to be turned even if you’re just going to throw out the garbage and coming right back
I’m thinking (and hoping) that Tiny and the boys give him a chance to do some ‘make up’ work.
Ditto on that deadbolt lock thing, too. I tell the family that most crimes are crimes of opportunity. Correct me if I’m wrong, LEOs, but isn’t that the case? My daughter leaves her $2400 Apple computer on the sofa, five feet inside a sliding glass door, with the curtain always open during the day. On the first floor of an apartment. A crook remembers things like that. She just doesn’t get it. She’s the type who mostly has to learn from bad things happening to her. Bad stuff happens, but it’s often the result of our allowing them to happen. If I’m out of sight of the door from which I leave the house, that door is locked, if only for a few minutes. That’s how long it takes. Thanks for the reminder, Docduracoat.
Definitely a location thing. We lock our doors at night, or if we’re gone but that’s the only time. Of course we have multiple large dogs, a 200 meter clear field of fire, and rarely leave the house unarmed (as well as multiple loaded firearms in easy reach inside the house.) But for those that live in proximity to goblins and other questionable life-forms, it’s very sound advice!
