Ken Cook – Phony Special Forces LTC
The folks at Military Phony send us their work on Kendrick Henderson Cook who claims he retired from the US Army as a Special Forces Lieutenant Colonel (O-5).
He also implies he was on active duty until 2007 in some secret clandestine status that would restrict people from having access to his military records.
Is it two tiers or is it three tiers? Who’s counting anyway?
When someone claimed to have his records, he lightened up but still claimed that the FBI would circle the wagons around protecting his status.
At issue was his service beyond 1993, but public records show Ken was quite busy. Must have been hard to juggle a life of running from the law while serving as an officer in the US Army.
So, Ken Cook’s military records were ordered.
So, Cook was Special Forces but his official military records do not show assignments passed 1993 and it appears he was in a non-drilling reserve status until 1997.
Got out as an E-6 (SSG) vs. O-5 (LTC).
The Special Forces / Green Beret community got involved which is summarized below.
SPECIAL FORCES COMMUNITY
Friends and colleagues that are very familiar with Green Berets/Special Forces and their training looked into Cook’s situation. A small paraphrased clip of the military training discussion follows about Cook…
If Ken Cook was commissioned, he would have OBC or BOLC, career courses, etc.
No way he got to O-5 without them.
So, there you have it. A man that accomplished enough for anyone to be proud of during his military service. He served when most wouldn’t and did what many couldn’t. It is a shame he felt it wasn’t enough. Many would feel it is more than enough. I will never understand why some people find a need to embellish their military career beyond recognition.
I’ll just post this and sit back and wait for the FBI to come knocking.

Faq’heem.
Please allow me to be the FIRST to say to Kendrick Henderson Cook a hearty phuque you, you embellishing piece of shit. This Google hit for you will not be any seekrit skiirrull FBI only access. Any one with a computer will be able to see what we have seen. Enjoy your innerwebz fame dipshit! Looks like you went tier deep in your bullshittery.
Everyone knows there are acutually 4 Tiers above Special Forces.
So he is LEGIT.
GOGGLE IT!
i’m so secret i am actually on the 5th tier above SF that only i know about!
This toad is in the tier reserved for low life rat fucking scumbags.
I’m so secret nobody knows who I am.
Or cares.
He is a 6th tier turd…that is all.
I shed so many tiers reading all this.
Badda-Bing-Badda-Boom
Ha!
I was the worst avid rugby player for approx 20 yrs. My guess his rugby claim is BS also.
I think this fat fuck should have claimed SF general officer rank!
As real as a Civil War issue polyester blanket!
Actually, we’ve been reading it wrong – he meant “Special Farces” – just a simple typo.
More like “Special Feces”…
Hungarian Navy Vice Admiral? Where does a landlocked nation home port its Navy?
In 1740 they had a coastline.
This guy must be older than we think.
Maybe he’s talking about the Austro-Hungarian Empire aka Austria-Hungary. He very well could be a secret squirrel WWI veteran.
Looks like Kenny is pretty popular with the local LEO’s and the boys at the BTJT Deli (Home of the WORLD FAMOUS Cockmeat Sammich).
Jeebus man…why….seriously, WTFO?
Very odd looking cat
Why doesn’t he have a Good Conduct Medal? Did he get into some trouble while he was in? And 1978 to 1997, that seems kind of long for someone to leave as a staff sergeant. Am I missing something here?
Not unusual in the guard to end at E-6. Odd his record isn’t marked retired though, so maybe the dates are off.
The Reserve Components (RC – e.g., the Reserves and National Guard) base retirement on a points system. At the time this guy served, you needed a minimum of 50 points in any given retirement year for that year to count towards RC retirement. Any year with 49 or fewer points didn’t count towards retirement.
Looks like this guy had long stretches where he wasn’t assigned to a drilling unit. Specifically, his records show nothing between Dec 1982 and Apr 1991. If he didn’t do a boatload of correspondence work (you got 1 point for each 3 hrs worth of correspondence courses), many of those years likely didn’t count for retirement. And ATTRS didn’t show anything for him after he left active duty – though I’m not positive ATTRS shows correspondence courses.
If he didn’t have 20 “good” years (years with 50 or more retirement points), he’d end up discharged rather than retired. I’m guessing that’s what happened here.
That’s the sad thing about secret records. You don’t earn points.
Here I went on all those secret squirrel missions in the 1980’s thinking I was getting drill points. No wonder I had to resign my reserve commission for failure to make major due to lack of completion of a branch career course instead of retirement.
I’m thinking this guy is gonna go full sock puppet. Time to stir the foo gas.
Still find it amazing that there’s an exception in the felon in possession of a firearm statute for military duties. Get convicted of a felony? The door shouldn’t hit you in the ass as you’re kicked out.
By the time he showed up in 11th Group in 1991his duty MOS would clearly have been 18 series not 12B3S. Even this green card looks like it was pencil whipped.
Total phony. He should have been sent to the federal slammer for convicted felon in possession of a firearm, but that is always the first charge the DA’s deal away for a plea bargain. It is almost like the progs don’t want these gun laws to have any effect on criminals.
I might add that he was SF qualified on AD, but he went off the rails sometime after he left AD and during his service in the 11th SFG (reserve unit). He even served in the same company of the 10th SFG(A) as I served in, but long after I left AD.
rgr 769 The SF comments above regarding ATRRS state Cook was a “PT recycling in the Q-course the first time and then a drop in the 2nd.” But Cook’s DD214 shows he earned the Long Tab and the SF scuba badge.
Was Cook tabbed through an alternative to the Q-course? When you’re tabbed does your MOS change to 18 series when you’re assigned to an SF unit?
no, he was tabbed in an alternative to record keeping well known in the NG…
He just typed it in himself.
If ATRRS has no record of you going to a school, you didn’t go.
Would that apply in 1980 or 1981?
We had people serve in the 10th who never qualified in the Q-course. They were easily identifiable by lack of a flash on their berets. Some wore the candy stripe in other groups. I wore a beret with no flash for the first three months I was in the group, before SFOC.
He spent about five months in the Q-course and then served for several years in MOS 12B2S slots in SF companies of the 10th and 7th Speical Forces Groups. So, the Army must have considered him fully qualified. The only way we would know for sure is to see the military education section of his DA form 20. It would show if he graduated the Q-course and the Scuba course.
So this one is named Kenny.
I guess I mistook him for his brother the fake Seal other day.

Can’t wait to see the sock puppets name.
Hillsborough County, Florida, arrest and court records- ugh! What do they all seem to land here? Must be the sunshine and high temperature that cooks their brain.
toss his me ssn, I’ll run his ass through JPAS and Scattered Castles.
He talks of a ‘dark vault … with TS information on Tier 1 people …”
I’m glad the vault is dark. Think of the electric bill if the light were allowed to be on when no one was in the vault.
Well, this is where I came in. Dark vault, TS stuff, blah, blah, blah. Seems to be a continuing theme.
Wasn’t Dark Vault one of the Villains in Spaceballs?
A possible explanation to the qualification question? http://www.socnet.com/archive/index.php/t-1913.html
So long story short: Legit SF….or tried/failed/and sucking wind 20 years later?
Tiers of a clown. Everyone knows the first rule about being in Tier 1 is ‘You don’t talk about Tier 1!’.
Kinda like a shell game. I don’t know how many tiers there are or even if there are tiers and if there are tiers what they are called. What my military experience tells me is that those who do know don’t talk much about such things.
But I have been in a couple of vaults. They weren’t too dark. And I didn’t stay long. Made me wonder about folks who would willingly work in one. Maybe y’all are talking about a different kind of vault.
