Nathan Phillips to be Named in Lawsuit
Nathan Phillips, who served in the Marine Corps Reserve under the name ‘Nathan Stanard,’ is to be named in a lawsuit according to the Conservative Daily News.
Nathan Phillips has lived much of his life based on documented lies. He has a violent criminal record including assaults, trying to escape prison, and alcohol-related crimes.

Nathan Phillips also violated the Stolen Valor Act of 2013 which makes it illegal to falsely claim military service in order to receive money, that is what he did when he raised money for a documentary where he used his Vietnam service that never happened as the reason for people to give him money. Back in January, the Conservative Daily News reached out to the director of the documentary, Maria Stanisheva, who said that she would not release it.
Phillips served in the military during the Vietnam era, but he never went to Vietnam. Nathan Phillips’ discharge papers showed that Phillips went absent without leave (AWOL) multiple times.
Perhaps this will be an interesting test of the Stolen Valor Act – but it does not say that he will be prosecuted for Stolen Valor or that it is included in the lawsuit.

I was in AF during the Vietnam war; stationed @ McChord. several of us (WAFs) would visit Ft Lewis hospital; very strong memories of the men laying in those beds. This Stolen Valor stuff really makes me angry.

Here is a link I posted yesterday re lawers being retained by at least one of the young men. This link shows 54 individuals, media and others who are named in a lawsuit. I don’t see Phillips’ name listed. I am so hoping these trials are held in Kentucky. Can you imagine the outcome with the locals sitting on the jury and these pompous pieces of shit trying to defend themselves when their words are well documented? The article suggests that the threshold for libel or slander might be less than in other states. IF the lawsuits proceed I’m thinking most will be settled prior to an actual jury hearing the case. Remember the movie ‘The Verdict’? The jury finds for the plaintiff and asks the judge if they are allowed to award an amount greater than that which was asked for. I would pay to see that happen in these cases against the scum who were so quick to try to destroy this boy.

Nobody goes to jail solely for a stolen valor conviction. The ones convicted and jailed were invariably convicted of other, more serious crimes. Someone knocking out his last four crooked teeth could actually happen, but then our tax dollars would be spent by the VA, or some other agency dispensing freebies, to get him new choppers. He likely gets free dental from the BIA for being a real deal Injun.
