Saturday morning feel good stories
From Shaler, Pennsylvania;
Police in Shaler say they are investigating a home invasion in the area of Crest Lane.
Police say two men tried to enter a home around 8 p.m. Friday. A shelter in place recommendation issued by police shortly after 8 p.m. has since been lifted and police say they don’t think the suspects are still in the immediate area.
Police didn’t have much of a description for the men, except to say one was white and the other black and both are possibly in their 30s. Police say one man may have been wearing a hooded sweatshirt and the other wearing a red bandanna.
Trib news partner WPXI-TV is reporting the homeowner may have shot one of the men with a bow and arrow and that two men matching the suspects’ description were seen running toward Sandy Drive.

Nice.
Rambo-style!
Shot with an arrow! good, easy to find, he is the one that can’t go between the bushes sideways!
“Silent but deadly” does not always mean DullAss WitlessFeld’s farts.
“Shelter in place” warning – but what if you don’t have a tablet or any of that electronic trash and you didn’t get the message, so you’re coming home from the grocery store with a trunkload of groceries?
Are you supposed to just let the ice cream melt because someone got scared?
“Homeowner may have shot one with a bow & arrow”: hope so. Boar hunting season has no time limits, from what I understand.
Holy Geronimo.
Shaler….
That is a name I have not heard, in a long, long time…..
It’s nice to see nothing was racially motivated and that blacks and whites can work together.
“Ebony and Ivory”
A bow and arrow?
Good thing that they run at the first sign of resistance as the reload is pretty slow with a bow.
I hear that homeowners in England are now arming themselves with cross bows since guns are forbidden.
Better than nothing, I guess
