Kim Griffin; fishing with a phony
Someone sent us their work on this Kim Griffin fellow who has a YouTube channel with fishing videos and calls it “Fishing with Sarge”.
You can see from the photo above that he claims to be an Army Command Sergeant Major, a Ranger, a Master parachutist, a Pathfinder, that he was awarded a Purple Heart along with a slew of other awards.
He makes claims that he served with the 75th Rangers in social media;
The Army doesn’t remember it that way. He was a 13B cannon cocker in the late 80s, then he went to the Army Reserve. He reenlisted just before Desert Storm and deployed with the 24th Division’s 3/41st Field Artillery and then to the National Guard when he came back. He also spent time as a supply specialist. He wasn’t a qualified parachutist, he wasn’t a Ranger and he left the service as a Specialist (E-4) not a Sergeant Major (E-9). He wasn’t wounded in combat (no Purple Heart).
His records indicate that he may have been busted from Sergeant to Specialist at some point during his time in the Army. He had 7 years of active service and about 2 years in the Guard and the Reserves.

Flicking boogers with a phony.
Way to go specialist.
Fishing with the Specialist…
Does have kinda of a ring to it.
actually more than his original stuff.
Jonn, thanks for giving me something to do on a boring Saturday AM. This dickweed was dumb enough to list his sponsors and I think associates on the Facebook page. So I sent them to the blog.
In his defense of claiming high speed stuff, he does have an awesome portable emergency escape ladder when he attaches all those qualification bars onto a single badge!
I always get a chuckle when I see the ladders. Dead giveaway.
Especially so, on a POSer claiming to be a master blaster Ranger CSM who is in reality just a leg red leg who was busted back to E-4.
Well at least he isn’t a pretend SEAL, so he’s got that going for him, which is nice.
He fishes for gender confused guppies.
Ya know, I have supported some great troops and units both conventional and unconventional. Both here and in theater. And I know it’s not ” sexy ” to drive a truck. Or to maintain unit supply. But those are vital jobs to our warfighting effort. These phonies who worked In a support mos that claim to be these high speed types SF , Ranger, etc not only dishonor the ones they are pretending to be but they also are saying that it’s shameful to be a support troop. And that’s horrible. I like this guy here started out in the Artillery side of the house. ( ADA). Then moved on to support. I’ve deployed with some of the finest ppl this nation has to offer and I was proud of my support role. Wether it was driving a truck. , or working for a supply sergeant or maintaining a mailroom . It’s a lot of hard work sometimes dangerous but worth it. I was gonna keep my trap shut but between this guy and the SF poser who drive truck. I just couldn’t. End of rant.
Like this guy here , not I like this guy here lest someone misread and think I like this piece of crap
STORY ALERT: In a Marine Corps Battalion the all Navy Hospital Corpsmen “belong” to S-4 through the Senior Medical Department Rep. Everyone in the Battalion faced the same hardships, the same dangers until the cards were dealt out by fate (unless you were FAP’d to Regiment or DIV – lower risk, less hardship – or you were with STA platoon – higher risk, way more hardship Oo-rah!). Having friends in the “kitchen” and in MO-T was devotly to be wished and relished if you were that fortunate. Oh, and you wanted the Mail NCO to think well of you too. “Hook you up” meant a lot more from a Shipmate in the 4-Shops than from most trigger pullers. Of course, spreading your good fortune to the trigger pullers was also part of the blessing – as in “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” ALL GOOD THINGS COME FROM ‘THE FOUR.’
DOUG out
What’s not sexy about being a 13bangbang?
I used to be 71L. There’s nothing wrong with typing orders for TDYs. Detailed as a part-time battalion driver and assisting the armorer at the range. I’m not ashamed with that.
I’m sure he even exaggerates the size of the fish he catches and the quantity also
A fisherman’s ruler/rule while telling fish stories for each inch add 2 and for each fish caught +3
I fondly recall the sign that greets you when you walk in any Bass Pro Shop:
“Welcome hunters, fisherman and all other liars.”
His hat is inside out. /s
So’s his head——-and it’s also inside out—–and in the wrong area!
Looks like the embellishing started early, even when he was on active duty in Korea.
From the 2ID picture where he’s wearing Buck Sergeant rank, he’s wearing an ARCOM, the Humanitarian Service Medal, a Driver and Mechanics Badge, and a German Schnitzingruben(sic) shooting badge hangy thingy, all of which are unauthorized.
First time I ever saw the Field Artillery Clasp to a Qual Badge awarded, even though it only goes to the lowest level (Marksman) authorized. Guess he was just barely able to hit the side of a barn with a howitzer.
However, I do think the NPRC clerk got ahead of himself by listing a 4th award of the Good Conduct Medal. Not enough time in even if you counted the Georgia NG time to make it to the 12 years requirement.
Huh?
Not for enlisted.
++++

Would you like another schnitzengruben?
Fifteen is my limit on schnitzengruben
“Baby, I’m not from Havana…”
Glad I’m not the only Blazing Saddles freak here.
What in the Wild World of Sports does that have to do with [fill in the blank]?
Kansas City Faggots?
You can buy me a beer.
AR 670-1 states:
Section 29.19
c. The German Marksmanship Award (Schuetzenschnur) is authorized for wear only by enlisted personnel. Officers may accept, but may not wear the Schuetzenschnur. If authorized, personnel wear the award on the right side of the uniform coat, with the upper portion attached under the center of the shoulder loop, and the bottom portion attached under the lapel to a button mounted specifically for wear of this award.
Did he close his facebook page or just unfriend me for leaving him some love and a link to TAH. I suggested that he stop by here to see his name up in lights, and that we would hold the door open for him.
Piece of shit is claiming Ranger while living just 100 miles from the “Florida Ranger Camp”.
Turd Burglar.
“I served with the 75th Ranger Battalion” said no Ranger ever.
Exactly. That is a dead give away to anyone who actually served in any unit of the 75th Infantry Regiment.
I’m just a dumb Marine and I know that one!
Everyone wants to be Ranger but they do not want to do all of that Ranger shit.
Turd.
“Fishing with Sarge”
More like “Fishing with Turd”.
Fishing for trouser trout.
Using the kanoodling method.
Dude must love cocking meat cannons… shit all over his service.
Cocksucker
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
Shack.
Almost caught me with a mouth full of coke on that one! Let’s have some spew alerts, please!
He forgets to mention he only fishes in septic tanks in Florida! We get some real whoppers out of there! I agree with NCF, I was mos 31S30 Comsec repair. It wasn’t glamorous, but hey! How do you communicate without us? What can I claim, Crypto Ranger?? Just be proud that you served no matter what role you played, they are all very important! I can’t understand all of the lies my pos brother claims when all he did was make false teeth? You can’t be a soldier if you can’t chew your C rations??
WW,
Fellow commo here (31E), our unofficial motto was, “You can talk about us, but you can’t talk without us.”
31S30…now that is a trip in the Waaay Back Machine. Graduated as the same in Feb 1973.
I’m a commo (USMC 0602 MOS) and yes, it’s not glamorous, but you get respect from folks. At least I take “Better you than me!” as a form of respect! 😀 Mostly, people never wanted to be the commo because you were the guy that got yelled at for things being screwed up that were way beyond your control.
For example, to have an email reach the CO on the beach near Pohang, Korea you have to have your own network up and running, your crypto gear configured properly, your satellite time approved, and your transmission device (a Phoenix and VSAT-M in this case) properly configured. All this was on you. On the other end (things and people you don’t control) Ft. Buckner had to receive your signal with the proper settings, configure their crypto properly, have the routing configuration done properly (so the email gets directed to your router), and MCNOSC (USMC network operations) had to have their routing configured properly since it was a usmc.mil network. On the ship it was similar, but we had to deal with the Pacific Region NOC) with whom we also had many issues.
Most people just want to be yelled at for things they F up themselves.
“Old posing Army Command Sergeant Major, fake Ranger/Master Blaster Parachutist/Pathfinder (not to mention the unauthorized Purple Heart), totin’ an awesome portable emergency escape ladder to include an Expert Grenade award and a Master Baiter lying fisherman (who probably got pricked more than one time not by a hook) will never die………he just smells that way.”

You can pay your respects here too….scroll down just a bit to see his smiling face.
Hmmm…says he studied public relations at Cameron University. Cameron University doesn’t offer such a degree.
Do I look surprised?
That’s a misspelling SARC. He meant Pubic Relations.
AHAHAHA! I was stationed in Korea in the mid 90s with 5/20 Inf and I recognize that PX portrait. The Koreans had a photo studio in the Camp Casey PX. At least he didn’t opt for the double or triple exposer with himself in BDUs and face all cammoed up. Also, I have to wonder if the German weapons badge is also unearned?
“German weapons badge is also unearned?”
You Betcha. Not on the FOIA and he’s not even wearing it correctly.
Hmmm, a full six hours after being exposed and his Facebook page is still wide open for blasting and hasn’t been locked down yet.
He must be out telling lies somewhere and not paying attention to what’s going on with his social media accounts.
Dumbass.
He knows because he has blocked me, after I blew him up there. He has the link to this post, and is probably lurking, while pulling his pathetic little pud.
Something fishy about this guy. Just got back from our cruise down in Comphibron eight’s old stomping grounds and the 4 of us were quarantined with an intenstinal virus in our two cabins. CDC’S orders. Nothing like the screaming shits for my roomie and the girls in the next cabin. I just ran a slight fever and had a lot of burping. We laughed about it all the way back to Delray. I’m glad I had the oppurtunity to share this with you.
Gee, thanks a lot.💩
Seriously, he looks like he’s about to sneeze big time. I’d get out of range real quickly, just for that!
It should be fishing with the E-4 Mafia who in the hell says sarge talk about disrespectful as hell
“A “sarge” is a shit eating fish that lives at the bottom of the sea” or so I was told by a NCO when I was a dumb Pvt.
funny enough though, there is a SGM fish
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sergeant_major_(fish)
“SARGE”? This Ain’t Beetle Bailey Private! Now push up the planet until it gets tired
SARGE, that’s how Pvt. Doberman used to address MSGT. Ernie Bilko. hy up de up hy up de up.
Odd I remember something close to that to 😆
Amazing how the knowledge passes down
My big fubar was at basic and saying sarge
To our platoon daddy Lol..
lots and lots of push-ups 😃😃
As the North American Grand Master representative – Left Coast Division – for the E-4 Mafia, I never heard someone address an NCO as, “Sarge.” Not without some kind of humiliation or corrective action.
As jonp stated below, I heard Gomer Pyle use the term or Beetle Baily.
Since quite a few enlisted were from the South and many of us picked up on the accent, it was was common to address them as “Sarn’t”
As a scout, any words past monosyllabic were difficult to pronounce, spell or remember.
After I was stop-lossed and no one could send me to any place worse than Iraq/Kuwait, I told everyone to call me ‘Mr.’ and called everyone else names of my choosing.
He blocked me on FB Messenger and Facebook. He sent me an old ID card showing he was an E9 and then he blocked me.
He’s been busy deleting comments on his Facebook page. He must think he can just brazen this one out.
https://youtu.be/WGGLH81hG9I Here is the video “fishing with sarge”. Please leave comments
I left the truth bomb in the comments yesterday.
Looks like he took down his video.
I’m still seeing it.
And now it looks like he’s locked his FB page; it says I don’t have permission to view his profile. Must be feeling the heat!
WTF? Kim? That’s a *girl’s* name.
Bitch.
Sandy Vagina.
Not always. Sometime’s it’s a treasonous bastard’s name.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kim_Philby
Kim Chi. She’s a nasty girl………..
I am totally and personally offended by this P.O.S. wearing a Pathfinder torch AND wearing it on the WRONG SIDE and in the WRONG PLACE on his “uniform” of lies.
Sorry fuckin’ useless leg.
It’s not a torch. It’s the ‘Golden Flamer’ award. To qualify, you must be proficient in:
Ball room dancing (see trouser trout fishing)
Interior decorating
Wear ascots and those pointy shoes
Have cleaner living quarters than a Marine Drill Instructor
Own all of Barbara Streisand’s music on vinyl
Play the piano better than Elton Jon and Liberace
Can identify more than the 3 basic colors
Uses words like: glorious and fabulous
Has ‘Saving Ryan’s Privates on Blu-Ray
As a veitnam vet,he had me for awhile, and I even donated bait to this scumbag ,for his mentioning our bait shop in his videos, his cookie has been crumbling rapidly, and I am glad to say he is no longer allowed on the premises, going to stop there before I say something ,about how I feel !!!! Proud vet .
Retired CSM’s don’t go by the nickname “Sarge”. What a fucking stooge.
