Saturday morning feel good stories
From Charleston, South Carolina;
Multiple sources are reporting that four people have been shot — one fatally — following a robbery in the 600 block of Albert Street in Charleston. A police officer was shot, but was uninjured due to a bullet proof vest.
Story is developing. The report came in about 11 p.m. Thursday night, Nov. 16, following a home invasion that involved five intruders — four black, one white. The homeowner escaped.
Three of the intruders were shot, but no word on the seriousness of their injuries or their names.
From Oshkosh, Wisconsin;
An investigator entered the apartment and found blood on the door to the entrance, handrails and steps.
Police located the alleged target of the robbery, who had a gunshot wound on his right forearm. The man told police that he had been watching a movie in his living room when he heard glass breaking in his kitchen. He went to check it out and found a man trying to get into his home.
The man said the suspect demanded money and fired a round at him, hitting him in the wrist. This man said he fired back in self-defense, possibly eight rounds, according to the criminal complaint.
The man told police that he believed he had hit the suspect because the man had fallen back into the stairwell.
The victim said he didn’t know the man who tried to rob him, but that he thought the crime could have something to do with posts he made on Facebook and SnapChat about winning close to $6,000 at the casino.
Cashmiere Hill, the man who was shot, was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead.
From Baltimore, Maryland;
Officers were called to the 6800 block of Sturbridge Drive at about 9 p.m. Thursday in the Hamilton Hills neighborhood, near the Baltimore County line, where a resident said an intruder forced his way into his apartment.
The resident told police the intruder had a knife and demanded money, and he was able to get to a firearm and shot once.
The identity of the victim was not immediately available pending notification of relatives, but police said he was 28 years old.
Police said the shooting is being investigating as a case of self-defense, and has been referred to the State’s Attorney’s Office.
The criminal was DRT (dead right there).

Well bless his little dead heart, 28 and he still hadn’t managed to turn his life around.
To make wordplay with an inexplicably popular phrase these days, “Casmiere me outside.”
Secondary lesson:
Do not make stupid-assed social media comments that increase your likelihood of becoming a target for criminals!
It never ceases to amaze me how people have to brag about big nights at casino, etc., pictures from the vacation they’re on, etc.
You know it! Should I ever become so fortunate as to win at a casino, lottery, whatever … NOBODY will know other than me (and Uncle Sam).
Yep. Just a bland statement, “Had a fun evening at the casino”, would be sufficient.
Great the perp is dead but advertising you won money on Facebook is stupid.
I wonder if Cashmeire was wearing a Cashmeire sweater when he was found him.
Cashmiere is survived by his half
-sister PolyEsther, and a brother named Spandex.
Cashmiere? That’s a name for a pussycat!
Where is Claw with the Name Scrabble scoreboard?
Cashmiere Hill = 69( 23×3 for DRT)
What’s a “bullet proof vest”?
I never saw one.
