David Hinyup; Phony SEAL

| September 22, 2017

Once again, our partners at Military Phonies share their work with us on this fellow, David Hinyup who, of course, claims to be a Navy SEAL. He joined a social media group – big mistake;

The internet is replete with his claims in bios and resumes;

…and on his hats and car;

The Navy disagrees with him. He did attend BUD/S briefly, but he left the Navy as an E-1;

The folks at Military Phonies summarize his career;

David’s summary sheet shows he was on active duty in the Navy for approximately 3 years and 15 days and got out as an E-1, yes that is correct, an E-1. Records show that David did check into BUD/S. I contacted the NSW Center and they have no record of him classing up with 127. I also contacted two SEALs from Class 127 and one instructor for that class, yes that all laughed when I mentioned the “HELLWEEK ICEMAN-IRONMAN Award” because they knew it was B.S. and they never heard of the name David Charles Hinyup.

Adios, muchacho.

Another. Phony. SEAL.

— sigh —

Is there no end to this incessant parade of poser assclowns?

Enough already.

Marine 0331

I’m……l’m beside myself right now. I’m heartbroken. What’s wrong with being a fake Marine all you poser turds? C’mon. We got the best uniform. Hell, our Sharpshooter rifle qualification badge alone is one of the best looking awards. Don’t be a phony SEAL or Ranger……c’mon guys. Be one of the Phew, the Prowd, the Fony Maureen’s. Phuck all you phonies!!! Sorry guys. Had to vent.

Green Thumb

Read through the recent posers.

The USMC is well represented….

Eden

You have Forgin’ Frank Visconi, so there’s that. . .

Club Manager

The reason for the lack of fake Marines is simple enough, they don’t have photos with their two road guards and someone to count Cadence and they know it would be an immediate giveaway. Here is an opportunity for three people who can get outfitted at their local military surplus to make a few bucks providing the needed cover to these phonies to give the Marines equal exposure.

Graybeard

Another high-drag/low-speed POSer never-a-S.E.A.L.?

This is my shocked face. [not]

rgr769

Wow, two phony SEALs outed on the same day. The Army SF, Ranger, and Marine Recon/Sniper posers are never going to catch up.

OldManchu

It has to be affecting the morale of the other branches spec ops folks for sure. C’mon Ranger posers where ya at? SF? C’mon poser punks – we have to get the numbers up for Army!

OldManchu

Hell I would settle for straight dirty leg infantry grunt poser at this point! Anything. Just get on the scoreboard Army!!!

Martinjmpr

Fake green berets are the “quiet professionals” of poser-dom. 😉

Jeff LPH 3, 63-66

At the TAH starting gate the gun goes off with Navy Seals at the lead followed by Spec Forces, Rangers and Marine Force Recon/Scout Snipers in last position. Not going to be a photo finish by a long shot. Am running to the $ 100.00 window now to place my bet.

Dave Hardin

No worries, I hear rumor that there are plenty of Delta Force/MARSOC/PJ wannabe’s in the pipeline.

I have no plans of stopping until I uncover the fake Chaplain Assistant. I know he/she is out there somewhere…we will find them.

OldManchu

Ball hugger deluxe.

He has that kind of arrogant face even his Mom would want to punch.

A Proud Infidel®™

3 years and left the USN as an E1?

Cocksucker.

Mick

KA-BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

Shack!

HMCS(FMF) ret

He didn’t leave as a HM, he left as a SR… he done fucked up big time on the USS Tripoli and they ran his ass out of the Navy.

Bet you he pissed hotter than a snake in a wagon rut on a August day out in the “STUMPS”.

Dick bag

Green Thumb

I was thinking more along the lines of a “Pocket Pussy”.

Old Trooper

3 years and gets shown the hatch as an E-1? Another shitbag.

Mick

TINS: over at the Military Phonies website linked above, this guy calls himself ‘Seawolf’.

And he also describes himself as an ‘ex-navy operator medic’.

‘Ex-navy operator medic’, eh?

Said no Navy Corpsman ever.

lily

Maybe a Navy Corpsman dropped him on his head as a baby?

SFC D

MRS D (a pediatric RN) was about to gun-up and go after these two evil twatwaffles when this story broke. I wasn’t gonna stop her.

CB Senior

Momma Bear with a Gun.
I will take door #2.
Don’t care what is behind it!

SFC D

Momma Bear has her own 1911. I had to get her one to get mine back. Never ever piss off a nurse. They know how to make you bleed.

A Proud Infidel®™

Maybe a reduction to E1 and a BCD is in order for them?

SFC D

Reduction to E- IOU1

Ex-PH2

There are some people who should be removed from society permanently. These creatures are two of them.

OldManchu

I would beat these two cunts to death of that was my child.

ChipNASA

HEY BITCHTITS, I hope you like being internet Famous because, guess what, CUMSTAIN, YOU’RE INTERNET FAMOUS!!!

RGR 4-78

Congratulations mr. david hineyup, are you ready for your internet screwing?

MCPO NYC USN Ret.

Who Yaaaahhh = NO!

HooYah = YES!

Posers never get the details correct.

Veritas Omnia Vincit

Wow that’s some meteoric rise to the top of the heap…E-1 in just three years?

No wonder he likes to brag….I mean E-1? It’s not like they give that rank out to everyone….

USMCMSgt (Ret)

When is the tournament?

RM3(SS)

Sounds like cumstain here did more than make babies dance to get shown the door as an E-1. Of course he’s got to overcompensate with the “Hell Week award”. Stolen Valor is always the cherry on the rancid sundae. He claims to have been a paramedic and RN, I feel sorry for any patients of his.

Eden

His NREMT expired in 1999, and his Louisiana license expired in 1992. Hopefully he didn’t manage to snag a license anywhere else before his NREMT lapsed.

Ex-PH2

He must have really worked hard to make it all the way to Seaman Recruit. I’d like to know how he did it.

Jeff LPH 3, 63-66

EX- Now I really feel bad about how it took me 3 years to pass the MM3 test while I was on the OKIE 3 but able to pin it on when I attended Reserves meetings. Like I mentioned on a previous post, I was a slow learner, did my job and was asked if I wanted to ship over so I guess I wasn’t that bad.

AnotherPat

Well, at least he is not wearing the TRIDENT in this picture:

Eden

Just for clarity’s sake, that was 10 AUG 2014.

Ex-PH2

They sure do have some real charmers over there, don’t they?

Boat Sailor

Man, why is it that no one wants to parade around in dolphins and patrol pins spouting stories of daring and bravado about Field Days and those pesky flooding drills and that awesome GMT that packs the mess decks with eager faces, and, oh yeah, wait for it, MIDRATS!! Woo hoo, them’s great days to live by, who wouldn’t want to fake up all of that? Not to mention the spine-tingling drama of watch turnover, or the pulse-pounding adventure of a mid-watch head break, c’mon, people, live a little! Submarines once, submarines twice, join in, everyone, you know the words, right? Right? Is this thing on?

RM3(SS)

Not for the easily offended, but we might have been thrown out of a few places for singing this…
http://jasonashurst.tumblr.com/post/78692849004/submarines-once-submarines-twice-holy-jumpin

Silentium Est Aureum

Don’t even get me started on the Vulcan Death March.

Remember, it gets better after ORSE.

Guard Bum

I used to love Midrats because the mess cranks would bake bread around that time and if you were lucky you could get some right out of the oven.

Say, I might have to talk to the Mrs about setting up Midrats …but probably not!

HT3 '83-'87

Q:Why are bubble head fakers are few and far between?
A:It’s not a media darling.
SPEC OPS is all the rage in the media. I’ve seen 2 new series promoted this fall about “special operations warfare” which will lead to a slew new posers.

Lurking in the depths and ready to unleash Armageddon isn’t “happening” in the public eye despite its enormous dependence in the national defense posture. No, with Tom Clancy gone I don’t see another writer to take his place to put submarine service ‘back-on-the-map’ with books such as ‘Red October’ & ‘Red Storm Rising’. Yeah, don’t feel bad…nobody is posing about the daredevil work in the fleet replenishment biz. Life on an AOR will never make it to any media platform, ever.

Deckie

Ugh and it says he is an STCW instructor? I can only imagine the retarded shit he says to trainees who don’t know any better about his “experience” in water survival.

Shit stain.

CB Senior

Does his name translate to ASS-UP?

26Limabeans

Giddy-up!

Skyjumper

On his resume, he states he is a “Helicopter Egress instructor”. What da phuck is that?

Whenever we came into a hot LZ, with the helicopter moving forward while skimming about five feet off the ground, the gunner/crewchief would politely ask us to disembark by saying “get the fuck off my bird, motherfuckers”!! Of course knowing what a huge bullet catcher a Huey was, we complied. 😉

Huh? So there was an instructor that instructed an instructee as to how to tell people to exit his helicopter? Damn, I learn something new everyday.

Sparks

“the gunner/crewchief would politely ask us to disembark”…BWAHAHAHA!!!!

Oh the memories, especially the one and only one time of being the last M-F’er of the chopper. I’m sure I felt a boot on my back and or ass or both.

Claw

Sparks, maybe what you felt was a boot on your back was actually that 36″ pry bar that some of us Crew Chiefs kept punji corded in the gunner’s well. We would sometimes have to give people (especially Marvin the ARVN) a gentle nudge with the pointy end to get them moving./smile

Yep, that same pry bar that we would give the Peter Pilot a vigorous thumping upside the flight helmet whenever he felt like trying to drag race with a Chinook and started pushing our Huey airspeed up past 115 knots.

Those Chinooks were fast. They could cruise at 160 knots without even breaking a sweat.

3/17 Air Cav

I saw it both ways, as a grunt and as a door gunner. I remember once, flying a ash and trash, stopping at a small hello pad. Troops sitting there wanting a ride to our next destination. Our pilot let me pick. There were higher up lifers, down to EM’s I picked the guy with the CIB, just out of the bush! Dirty, tired, just wanting a ride. I sometimes wonder if he remembers me. When I put him aboard, he just stared at me!

Hack Stone

“We have reached our destination. On behalf of the pilots and the flight crew, we thank you for choosing our squadron for your air assault, and look forward to extracting you.”

Sparks

Such loving words…I never heard. LMAO!

jonp

lol, only did that once in basic after being top 5 in qual on the range for the BN. I recall, dimmly, some pretty not so nice words. Damn, that was a fun ride and I still remember it. Much more fun when no one is shooting at you

jonp

Sorry, Brigade. BDE

jonp

IDK. That’s a pretty sweet orange hat he has on.

Daedalus

Wow, the phony SEAL posers are really racking up some numbees this week. Anyways, anyone with a face and moustache like that HAS to be a pederass. It’s clear that this guy likes little boys a bit too much.

What a retarded liar.

Daedalus

Green Thumb

Another substandard discharge.

Getting the common theme, here…..?

Substandard Discharge = Shitbag.

Extra Turd.

Marine 0331

Hey John, can’t you dig up some phony Marines? I am getting my feelings hurt with all these phony SEALs here lately. Where’s the love?

IDC SARC

He doesn’t come on on web search as a Registered Nurse or a Nationally Registered EMT.

Do I look surprised?

Eden

Didn’t check for RN, but his NREMT expired in 1999, and his Louisiana EMT license expired in 1992. Hopefully he didn’t manage to snag a license anywhere else before his NREMT lapsed. None in California or Texas–haven’t checked other states.

IDC SARC

hmm..yeah it comes up now…dunno why it didn’t last time. Probably thought I checked the lapsed box and didn’t

EMT Basic only….guess even that strained his brain too much since he can’t even use the correct abbreviation

Eden

I find it interesting that his Louisiana license record states “Legacy EMT”, with no issue date (only an expiration date).

On his online resume, he claims NREMT from 2008 to 2013, which is clearly a lie. He also claims to have been working as an EMT-qualified anesthesia tech at a hospital in Louisiana from 1999 to 2013.

Eden

Another interesting tidbit: “The State of Louisiana requires all EMTs, AEMTs, and Paramedics to obtain and maintain a valid and current NREMT credential. The State license database synchronizes with the NREMT database on a nightly basis. If your NREMT credential expires, is revoked, or suspended, your Louisiana EMS license will be suspended.”

FWIW, Texas does NOT have that same requirement. You have to get your NREMT in order to obtain a Texas license, but then you can let your NREMT lapse and maintain only the Texas license.

Guard Bum

Who lists lettering in High School on a resume 40 years later?

Another one who was tested on active duty and was found wanting. Now the eternal shame that haunts his daily existance from a failed stint in the Navy will be compounded with exposure as a fraud.

Everywhere he goes, everytime someone looks at him he will wonder…do they know? Are they mocking me? Will they find out I am a fake who couldnt even make it to the end of a Navy enlistment or get promoted one rank?

Even looking in the mirror to shave must be difficult.

chooee lee

With a surname like “Hineyup” you he has to be Bonafide Mudpacker.

Frank

When will we start seeing female and transgender fakers? Or does the Chair Force account for those?

Skidmark

Sockpuppet??? This is from MP’s site: William Craig Short 09/25/2017 at 05:51 I was in BUD/S with David and it is true he did not graduate. I knew David well, and I graduated w/ Class 127. He did not, but he did ask me to comment on this page about his time at BUD/S. As I read this information, I was actually saddened. David and I encouraged each other through a very tough winter class Hellweek. He helped me make it, and I think there was only 11 original members that made it through to graduate, the rest were “rollbacks”. I don’t remember the numbers well – most SEAL’s forget details of BUD/S. It’s not important and once you make it to the Teams, no one cares…you are an FNG, again. I told David I wouldn’t comment because it was obvious he was trying to portray himself as a SEAL, but I changed my mind to set the record straight -due to the comments. The ground truth is David was a “fish” in the water, and at least average in the other physical stuff -toughed out Hellweek with the rest of us. He was an encouragement to me and I encouraged him. I don’t remember any “Ironman” award. I think it may have been something Chief’s Gill/Tullas/Donagan made up on the fly to screw with our heads. I don’t remember or care. What I remember vividly is during Dive Phase (2nd Phase) David struggled tremendously with the academic Dive Physics portion -Boyles Law, etc. I know….I spent hours with him on the weekends, rather than us taking a much needed break, sleeping, or going to the EM Club looking for ladies -we cracked the books and I tried to help him understand the math. To this day, I still remember the look of anxiousness on his face, because he just couldn’t understand it, nor get the sample problems right. I would show him, he would try it, and just struggled. We both felt helpless, knew what that meant after failing another test. I also felt very frustrated because I couldn’t… Read more »

mr. sharkman

Definitely not a sockpuppet.

Real deal retired SEAL CDR IDing themselves by name tend to not be sockpuppets.

Kimberly Gettys Treadaway

I am proud of you Vintage. New Orleans loves and embraces you. We encourage you to acknowledge your many accomplishments and since you have admitted your failures to move on.

Its our imperfections that make us most interesting.

P.S. I think this is a dangerous site (all of the like) that we need to be mindful of those who suffer. WOW! some of the post could lead to ones death or worse unimaginable suffering and not just for them but their family.

We can do better.

PRCS(AW/SW) Ret.

Wow, this guy LOVES the stuff he makes up.
