Manuel Fernandez; phony SEAL

| September 14, 2017

Our partners at Military Phonies send us their work on Mannie Fernandez, “The Raging Bull” at WWE. a professional wrestler. You can hear him tell his wild-ass stories about him being a SEAL in Vietnam in this video. LANGUAGE WARNING;

You can read it in his bios;

He joined the Navy years after the last SEAL left Vietnam, he spent 21 months in the Navy and it appears that they parted company on bad terms – but no SEAL Training, no SEAL assignment, no time in Vietnam, no time in combat.

Yeah, Raging Bull, but not the way he meant it.

I’m not a disgruntled wrestler;

Another wannabe…

Sigh…

Mick

Way too many phony SEALs around here over the last couple of weeks.

Silentium Est Aureum

Raging bullshitter, maybe.

Gee, he musta been 16 or 17 years old when he did his combat tour in the Viet of the Nam. Maybe he was the first 15 year-old to graduate BUD/S.

AW1Ed

Soared to Fireman Recruit (E-1) in only 21 months? Fookin’ rate grabber.

Jebus guys, don’t you know that Wrestling is FAKE!!??!??!
Maybe he was just aspiring to be like his mentor Jessie Scruff Face Janos Ventura

OC

My dear departed Grandma would watch , on Sat. night,:
Wrestling
Lawrence Welk
Bishop Fulton Sheen
In that order. Whoa be it to anyone that bad mouthed her beloved Crusher.

CB Senior

Grandma’s are awesome

Hee Haw was at my Gramma’s house.
She loved Archie Campbell !!!

All this talk about “beating the crap” out of someone. Well, now, it appears that he beat the crap out of the tag team consisting of his credibility, and what he actually earned or did while in the military. 🙄

2banana

He actually said “Ain’t got time to bleed” while knocking out NVA machine gun bunkers with his SEAL team…

On his xbox

David

A professional wrestler? Obviously as legit as the sport and its other (Janos) participants. SEALS one and all, apparently.

A Proud Infidel®™

I wonder if he’ll lawer up and try to sue everyone and their hound dog?

Silentium Est Aureum

So any truth that he’s claiming one of his “rivals” set him up?

Yeah, didn’t think so.

Carlton G. Long

He was really bigger in the NWA, particularly Mid-Atlantic (Jim Crockett), territory than in the old WWF.

I should forward this to The Iron Sheik as well as to The Honky Tonk Man. They both love making YouTube videos ripping other wrestlers to shreds.

jonp

The Iron Sheik is the real deal. A bodyguard of The Shah, amateur wrestler, wrestling coach to 2 USA Olympic Teams, AAU Gold Medal Winner. His life is pretty interesting.

Among the idiots and pretenders in Pro Wrestling are some that really know what they are doing from Curt Angle to Baron Von Rashki

Green Thumb

The Legion of Doom.

“Nature Boy” Rick Flair.

And my personal favorite: “Rugged” Ronnie Garvin and his “Hands of Stone”.

And by the way, Kurt Angle turned out to be a piece of shit on many levels.

To include wearing his Collegiate (NCAA Champion – Clarion) and Olympic medals (Gold Medalist) into a Professional Wrestling ring and acting like an idiot.

Those medals should be sacred; not a pathway to riches for a drunk, wife beater and juice freak.

I will agree that he is the real deal, hands down. But he is a shithead. Kinda like the 300+(extended scale) PT Score for assclown that beats/cheats on his spouse in your platoon. Great Solider, terrible person.

jonp

Didn’t say he was a good person just that there are some guys that are talented. Your right in your assessment.

Carlton G. Long

Totally agree regarding The Iron Sheik. He also served in the Iranian army in his youth. He is absolutely brutal on YouTube.

HTM is not a veteran, and I don’t think he’s ever claimed to be one; he just gets on a roll talking sh*t about people and it’s funny.

A Proud Infidel®™

Cocksucker.

Mick

KA-BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

Green Thumb

I wonder if someone is lining up to stick their shlong in his “O”.

Dude looks like he a pro smiling like a Cheerio.

Green Thumb

I also bet his signature move was the “Two-Hole Stretcher”.

What a clown. And a substandard discharge to boot.

Hell, at least Janos served honorably.

This dude is very similar to a dank fart: you walk into it, smell it, grimace, then move on forgetting about it.

Much like this turd’s career and mark on society.

One last thing: who (in the NFL) did he play for?

lmn0351

only thing i found is he tried out for the kc chiefs

HMCS(FMF) ret

I’m guessing he’s got a hankering for Cockmeat burritos…

Bobo

Another one with a military stellar career. He managed to rocket all the way up to E-1 and leave early.

ChipNASA

Um No. (Nam “ERA” maybe…)

“Mike Schanzer” – The Bull is a brother Nam Vet and has always had my respect for that service when others said no way!!! Right on brother!!!!👍👍

Claw

(Nam “ERA” maybe…) That’s a No Go at this station.

The Bullshitter is not even a Nam era vet, Chip.

The NDSM period for Nam ended 14 Aug 74. This dildo didn’t enlist until 17 Dec 74.

So he’s a Nam era vet just like Spec9 Joe Gainey is a Nam era vet.

ChipNASA

I stand corrected. I didn’t catch that.
😛

Claw

No Sweat. Easy Peasy./smile

jonp

How do we know, John? I heard you tried to horn in on a match in Burlington and got a chair to the head

The Stranger

That’s right…for all we know, Jonn could be “Mil Mascaras”, one of the all time great luchadores! I mean, those guys all wore masks, so it’s possible, right?🤠

A Proud Infidel®™

*UUUUUUUHHHHM*, so were Manny Fernandez’s Military Records fabricated and placed in the NPRC Archives by some “disgruntled wrestler” as well? *DUUUHHHHHH*…

charles w

Found him…

jonp

Um….Guys and Gals this is WWE???? Wrestlers make outlandish claims all of the time and stay in character during interviews, on websites etc.

jonp

One of the best times I ever had was at a Pro Match in Charlotte when I was at Bragg. Me and a buddy drove over to take a look and thought it odd there were no people wandering around. We saw a sign for a Wrestling Match and decided to go and the entire city was there. Old ladies in fur coats spitting on the heels, barbed wire match. It was awesome.
I’ve had the pleasure to meet a number of wrestlers from Mad Dog Vachon who used to come into the local VFW (his daughter was born in the same hospital I was) to Andre The Giant. You have no idea how huge that guy was. All were great guys and always took time to say hello to the fans.
During the Second Gulf War the WWE was the first in to entertain the troops and not with second rate stars. John Cena, The Big Show and Stone Cold Steve Austin were there. Say what you will about WWE but they always support our troops

swormy

I watched a Mid Atlantic wrestling match in the early 80s at the local high school gym. One of the wrestlers was Big John Stud and he was listed at 6’11” and I believe it.

He was standing next to someone I knew who was 6’6″ and he made him look small in comparison. Very likeable guy when he wasn’t in the ring.

Carlton G. Long

I’ll never forget going to an event in Roanoke, VA in the early 80’s. Great card, and the main event was Ricky Steamboat & Jay Youngblood trying to win the titles from The Sheepherders (later the Bushwackers in the WWF). Steamboat & Youngblood won the match, but alas, the victory was by way of disqualification so the belt didn’t change hands.

As we were leaving, I saw an old lady, two adults, and about 10 kids leaving together. Several of the kids were crying…and the reason they were crying is that “Granny” had said earlier that she was going to take everyone to Hardee’s for a steak biscuit (they were the new “thing”) after the matches but she was so pissed off about the main event that she had changed her mind.

jonp

In later years every big star showed up in Iraq to support our troops. Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Randy Orton, Batista all the big stars. Every year they hold a Tribute To The Troops event and also visit military bases, hospitals etc on a regular basis. The USO even recognized them for entertaining our troops. They do more than 99% of the groups out there for our men and women in uniform

Sj

My late wife was on the ortho ward then. It was non stop dignitaries but without hoopla. Cheney was a regular and barely got any attention. He spent a lot of time in each soldier’s room.

pigpen51

Nascar used to be the same way, with the drivers and crew meeting with fans and talking to them like regular people, until the big money and sponsors got involved. Now they are superstars, and it is just too hard for them to do with so much of the public trying for their time. I don’t follow them, but have friends that do. And I know about the people that support the troops that don’t seek recognition. If you beat the bushes and talk to the right people, you get the story, and that is the kind of people that make this a country that is worth living in. Just like there are many celebs that go out of their way to support the families here at home as well, making sure they can get to concerts, or have phone cards to talk to loved ones in the sandbox, or even computers to do emails, etc. This nation has it’s share of jerks, but we have our good people as well. From those who serve, to those who support them. I never served, but I make it a point to thank those who do. I have a son deployed right now, and I understand how tough it can be for all of you who have served, so I thank everyone of you that have or are still serving.

Is it just me or does this guy look like Ron Jeremy?

jonp

I met Ron in Phoenix. I was driving by an X-Rated bookstore and a big sign out front said “come meet Ron Jeremy and some woman, idk who” so I said “why not”?

He was really great to talk to. Nice guy and so was the woman. Hard to connect either to what they do(did) for a living.

3/17 Air Cav

Back in the late 50’s in Portland Oregon, there was Portland wrestling on tv every Friday nite. My grandfather loved it. My brother and I would tell him it was fake over and over. Till he got pissed and would go to bed. Then my brother and I got to watch what we wanted!

Here’s the all star cast from that era. Tough Tony Borne, Gentleman Ed Francis, Kurt Von Poppinheim, Karl Von Himmler, Haru Sasaki, Soldat Corky and the Migets can’t forget the Migets!

jonp

Ever see Andre The Giant take on 2 or 3 midgets at the same time? hahahahahaha….

Carlton G. Long

6 ft 4 in men looked like midgets next to Andre.

The manliest of men who, ironically, hailed from arguably the un-manliest country of them all.

Not one of you has asked the most important question of all: does Manuel also cook?

I am SO disappointed in you.

And really, Manuel, stop posting those old photos of you in a banana hammock.

Jeff LPH 3, 63-66

I wonder if he wrestled Skull Murphy. Been out of the loop since we lost power from Irma and got it back yesterday, so can anyone out there tell me who is in the lead for the phony Special Forces/Seal race.
