Old Forester hosts Kingsman screening at Ft Knox
For those of you who might be in the Fort Knox area and find yourselves without plans for Friday night, the folks at the Old Forester distillery invite you to an exclusive screening of the movie “Kingsman; The Golden Circle”;
ABOUT THE FILM: In “Kingsman: The Golden Circle,” our heroes face a new challenge when their headquarters are destroyed and the world is held hostage. Their journey leads them to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the U.S. called Statesman, dating back to the day they were both founded. The Statesman, based in Louisville, Kentucky, act as master distillers to hide their true identity. In a new adventure that tests their agents’ strength and wits to the limit, these two elite secret organizations band together to defeat a ruthless common enemy, in order to save the world, something that’s becoming a bit of a habit for Eggsy. You may be right, AW1Ed. The frangipane filling for Normandy apple tarte requires apple brandy. The most recommended brand is Calvados, a French apple brandy. It costs $45/750ml, and the recipe requires only one tablespoonful of it.
But it’s brandy, so I can either use it or pop a jigger of it now and then. It’s brandy. It will last forever.
Snootiness costs a lot.
So the entire movie is just one long, action-packed advertisement?

The Mad Max movies have gone from appropriate dialogue with action to action with nearly no dialogue. It sometimes makes me cringe.
