Sunday morning feel good stories

| September 3, 2017

In Tulsa, Oklahoma;

A man is said to be in critical condition, following a shooting late Friday night in Tulsa.

Police say William Easley allegedly kicked open the door to his ex-girlfriend’s home.

“The victim stated that she feared for her life and shot Easley with a .380 Ruger handgun shortly after he had made entry into the residence,” police said.

“Officers later found that police had been called to the residence earlier in the evening for a domestic incident where the suspect allegedly assaulted the victim and then left before police arrived. The victim advised officers during scene of the shooting, that the suspect had been sending her text messages and telling her that he was going to come back and kill her.”

From Orlando, Florida;

The victim was tending to a lawn on Limpkin Drive around 12:14 p.m. when a red vehicle pulled up and three men got out, a news release said.

Deputies said two of the men displayed handguns as they tried to rob the victim. The victim was also armed, so he pulled out his gun and shot at the attempted robbers, according to authorities.

The victim said he believes he shot one of the men.

Neighbors told News 6 that the lawn care worker is well-known in the area and well-respected.

From Stanton, Texas;

Police say that a 79-year-old Stanton man thwarted a would-be robber after pulling out his concealed firearm.

Andrew Yanez, 24, has been charged and arrested for Attempted Robbery and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

According to the Stanton Police Department, the elderly man was leaving a convenience store Friday afternoon when he was approached by a suspect.

The suspect then demanded keys to his vehicle, stating “It would be best for you to give me the keys, I want your car” and implied violence would be used, according to police.

It was then that the victim who was licensed to carry a handgun drew his concealed firearm and pointed it towards the suspect, who fled the scene on foot.

A description of the suspect was provided to police, and he was located two blocks away from the scene and was identified as Yanez.

“the lawn care worker is well-known in the area and well-respected”.

Well yeah…the guy’s armed!

If the truth was known, George Zimmerman is probably well respected, too.

Florida needs to start conferring civic and public service awards to folks for doing the right things in life.

Nothing to say. Can’t think of any puns for these three incidents. Oh well if I eat an egg, maybe I can come up with a good YOLK.

79 years young. You all know the saying, “Don’t fuck with an old man; he’ll just kill you.”

Geez…
That chick in the first story doesn’t have any sense of humor, “I was just kidding around with her”….
Nothing like leaving text messages that give her a license to kill…
Stupid is as….

Well I can say that if I lived on “Limpkin DR” I might look into changing my address, just saying.
