I knew a whole family who were killed in a traffic accident and are buried in San Antonio TX; the same city from where this one entered the Army. Included among the victims was the husband, an active duty US Army SSgt. This guy should be instructed to polish the tombstone, pull the weeds, and mow the grass for eternity or until forgiven; whichever comes first.

Not exactly Ranger or Q-Course material, I don’t think.And maybe I’m wrong, but I don’t think the word “Honorable” will fit in the space that’s redacted on his records of assignments where “Discharge” is listed. Ditto for the hyphenated word “Entry-Level”.
The word “General”, on the other hand, does appear to fit.

70 or 40 he still served during my shortitis era (short timer calendar)(10/80-12/08/80 for me) in my unassuming 6 and 1/2 year USAF enlistment with no deeds of daring doings, except with a pair of scissors a ratchet, screw driver, tech orders, RTV , 100mph duct tape, gorilla snot 1300L glue and safety wire pliers, and not much else, thanks to Jimmy Carter and the congress !!plus driving a metrovan on the flightline weaving about big scarwee aardvarks wid bombs and stuff ondem ! yep there I was 1 comin’ from the left 1 from the right 1 back and 1 forward , they were everywhere, like a herd of screeching elephants walking on a concrete path……so I broke the rule, had no place to go, no other choice or it was a pitot tube and then a Radom thru the metrovan , which would mean a lot of e’splainin’ to dooo….SO I DROVE ON THE GRASS ! and thank my lucky stars, I didn’t get bogged down
