Saturday morning feel good stories

| May 6, 2017

From Boone, North Carolina;

According to the report the male resident reported shooting the suspect after he forced entry into the apartment.

The suspect was transported to Watauga Medical Center and later released. According to the report the investigation is still ongoing.

From Las Vegas, Nevada;

One person was trying to sell a ring before the attempted robbery at 10 p.m. at the casino-hotel, 4111 Boulder Highway, Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Chris Holmes said. The male robber pointed a gun before the ring seller pulled out their own gun and fired a “self-defense” shot at him, Holmes said.

Police said the robber fled and it wasn’t known if he was shot.

The ring seller was a concealed weapon carrier, Holmes said.

From Fountain Valley, California;

Homeowner Cris Maradiaga said he and his wife were just going to sleep after staying up late to celebrate his birthday when he heard two loud crashes.

The vehicle had crashed into a wall surrounding the property and then into a bedroom where a woman who was visiting had been sleeping, Maradiaga said.

The woman was being checked out but was expected to be OK, he said.

“I came out and there was two guys that were trying to get in through the house,” the Maradiaga said.

Maradiaga said his wife went to check on their baby and he went to get his gun before going outside.

“So I went and got my gun and got out and kept the guy here until the police got here, which was like a minute after,” Maradiaga said.

Maradiaga also said a woman who exited the vehicle possibly ran through his house and out a side door before she was found. Police said she was hiding in the front yard of another residence.

Video from the scene showed a woman being pulled down and taken into custody by a K-9 officer.

All four people who were in the vehicle at the time of the cash were eventually arrested, Sorenson said.

The suspects have been identified as Santa Ana residents Tanisha Marie Estrada, 29; Leticia Dominguez, 21; and Daniel Enrique Ramirez, 23, and 20-year-old Corona resident Joshua Rudy Ramirez.

Three firearms were also recovered during the incident, Sorenson said.

There was also drugs found in the car.

In Australia, now that guns are virtually banned, women are forced to defend themselves and their families with vacuum cleaners;

The 24-year-old mother was asleep in bed next to her six-year-old daughter about 11pm when she woke to find someone in her Frankston house.

Frankston detective Senior-Constable John Melhuish said she walked out of the bedroom and saw the woman, who police suspect had been chroming.

“We believe she entered through an unlocked front door,” Sen-Constable Melhuish said.

“The woman had blue around her mouth and was disoriented, substance affected.

“We believe the woman had connections to the house and had been there in the past.”

He said the victim tried to tell the woman to get out, but the woman refused to leave.

A scuffle ensued, which resulted in the victim fighting off the intruder with a vacuum cleaner.

“A scuffle ensued, which resulted in the victim fighting off the intruder with a vacuum cleaner.”

What is “chroming”?

Tom Huxton

“Chroming” is the term used to describe inhalant use (IU) in Australia. It refers most specifically to inhalation of fumes from aerosol spray paints-a practice that appears to be currently the preferred form of IU for most urban Australians who use these drugs. The term has also become generalized, with young people now talking about “chroming” substances such as butane, deodorants, and other aerosol products.

Called “huffing” here!

“The suspects have been identified as Santa Ana residents Tanisha Marie Estrada, 29; Leticia Dominguez, 21; and Daniel Enrique Ramirez, 23, and 20-year-old Corona resident Joshua Rudy Ramirez.”

According to the news I found on-line, three firearms were recovered along with cocaine & meth found in the vehicle.

Skyjumper, I don’t want to be accused of profiling or anything but Tanisha, Leticia, Enrique and Ramirez…pretty much says it all. They sure weren’t Jehovah’s Witnesses handing out the Watch Tower now were they.

Thunderstixx

They were Lutherans.
We all know that Lutherans are the cause of all the evils of society !!!
