Tuesday morning feel good stories

DRT in Kewanee, Iowa;

According to a news release, the homeowner called police to report a man kicked in his door, and the homeowner shot him in self-defense. The man was taken to OSF St. Luke’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Another DRT in New Orleans, Louisiana;

The as-yet unidentified robbery suspect, 28, was armed when, according to police, he entered the T-Mobile, 506 St. Andrew St., shortly before 7:30 p.m. Once inside, police said he ordered employees and a customer to the back room and demanded money from the store safe.

He was going through the safe when the armed customer shot him, police said.

Ed Marrero, whose son works at the St. Thomas Development-neighborhood store, said Friday night that his son told him the customer fired multiple times.

In Dayton, Ohio, a clerk with a CCW permit returned fire when a criminal shot another clerk in the leg. The clerk with the permit has since resigned since Sunoco doesn’t allow clerks to protect themselves.

Kicking in a door in rural Iowa has to rank high on the list of dumb things to do. His threat was met with fatal gunfire. That guy’s last time for that stunt.
In NOLA, more and more people are fed up with the thuggery and are armed as the customer was when a robbery was attempted on the store that he was in. Another one bites the dust, with no future as a criminal.
The bad guys know which employers don’t allow their employees to be legally armed, In one case, the thug got fooled, when an employee plugged him in the leg. The clerk violated company policy in legally arming himself, but he is alive to tell about it.

Graybeard

And so is his co-worker.

Ummm, that would be Kewanee, Illinois, not Iowa.

But if you’ve ever passed through there, you would readily see why it has the nickname of “Hog Capital of the World”

And I’m not talking about the swine you see in the stockyards.

Oink, Oink!!

Sunoco ain’t seein’ any of my hard earned money unless they change their stupid policy.
