Monday morning feel good stories
A security guard at an apartment complex in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania confronted a prohibited person. The criminal struck the guard with his vehicle, but the guard’s partner shot the crook in the shoulder. The criminal is recovering at the hospital.
A homeowner in Alexandria, Virginia confronted an intruder with his firearm, but the criminal got the weapon away from him and shot the homeowner. I’m guessing that homeowner thought he could scare the criminal with the sight of his gun. That never works as often as you might think.
I don’t know when this happened, but supposedly it was in Florida and the clerk turned the tables on an armed crook;

Many years ago my Aunt made some thugs retreat by waving a pistol…. It was unloaded. She was lucky!

This is not how it is done, people. Your legally owned weapon is NOT to scare bad people with! It is to protect you, especially by shooting bad people.
In the two other incidents in today’s post, the bad guy got SHOT, as it should be.
Unfortunately the gun grabbers will play this as typical result of owning a firearm – getting shot with your own weapon – and look for ever more restrictions. “If only the owner had used a trigger lock, or kept the weapon unloaded, the intruder couldn’t have shot him…”
Not sure about that convenience store robber being shot, but he sure got his clocked stopped by something off camera range, presumably the clerk’s fist(s). The robber left in such a hurry, it looks like he even left his gun.
If you slow the video, you can see the blood on his lower back from the exit wound(s)
When the mask came off of the culprit, the store clerked gasped “Old Man Bernath!”.
“And I would have gotten away with it, too, if you meddling TAHers hadn’t gotten involved.”
