Ongoing Pattern of Fraud? Sure Looks Like It to Me.

| September 17, 2016

What would you think of an organization that did the following:

apparently sought out lower-income individuals;

solicited funds from them via small credit-card donations, purportedly on a “one-time basis”;

on a recurring basis, processed multiple such “one-time” donations against donors vice the single donation that was authorized;

did all of the above to a number of individuals every month;

gave these individuals the “run-around” regarding returning unauthorized donations when they complained; and

appeared to take great pains to keep the unauthorized total received through such shady actions from any single individual below the known thresholds ($100 on a given account) at which credit card companies begin to investigate fraud?

Oh, and did I mention that this is reputedly precisely the method used by some shady pr0n companies to scam extra money from their customers?

Don’t know about you, but it certainly looks to me like “an apparent pattern of ongoing and repetitive small-scale fraud.”  And I might call the folks doing it sleazy bastards who were running a scam targeting those who can least afford the financial hit.

Now, what would you think about a national political campaign that did that? Hypothetically speaking, of course?

Well, maybe you don’t have to think hypothetically. According to this article from Observer.com, apparently the Clintoon Campaign appears to have been doing exactly this during the current election cycle.  (FWIW:  the publisher of Observer Media, which owns Observer.com, is related to Donald Trump by marriage.  That fact is fully disclosed in the linked article.  That fact is also completely irrelevant if what’s reported is true.)

It’s not the first time the Clintoon Campaign has done something along these lines, either. As reported by that charter member of the “vast right-wing conspiracy” the New York Times back in 2007, there’s some indication that Clintoon’s campaign might possibly have been doing something similar back then, too.  Hell, even the       Useful Idiots       “Progressives” over at Daily KOS were raising a stink concerning the issue back then.

In contrast, the Trump campaign doesn’t appear to be doing anything similar.   Per the article, Wells Fargo – whose customers have reported extensive problems along these lines from the Clintoon Campaign – has reportedly received no such complaints from Trump supporters.

Sheesh. You or I would have been in jail by now.

“My name is Hillary Clinton and I approved this overcharging.”

I look at the multiple takings on a one-time donation as a fine for supporting the Bitch of Benghazi. Now, I hope that these folks have learned their lesson and will go and sin no more. There’s a lesson in this regarding the progressive/marxist/commie democrat bastards but I doubt they see it. When folks have the freedom to do what they will with their income, such as donate a portion of it, they can happily own their choices, but when someone takes their money AND decides what it will be used for, it’s a freedom lost. Welcome to the world of the middle American taxpayer.

Hack Stone

Similar to using the services of a prostitute, then complaining when you get an STD. No sympathy from me, maybe they can use it as a teachable moment, the lesson being never trust Hillary Clinton.

Poetrooper

NEVER!EVER!EVER!TRUST!HILLARY!RODHAM!CLINTON!

There, Hack, Ol’ Poe fixed it for ya…

Prostitutes do not give STDs!

You pay for it. They “give” nothing.

Oh, you want my credit card number?

Sorry, the Star Wars geek in me has OCD.

(Wheeze..)

The Geek is strong in this one….

Ex-PH2

Yeah, I didn’t see that until after I clicked it. My bad. Sorry.

If it had been Grand Moff Taking it would have been dead on.

I believe you have dubbed the new handle on H.

“We’ve analyzed Trump’s attack, maam, and there is a danger.”

Perry Gaskill

So apparently the Clinton campaign was either too dense to understand they were going to get caught, or just didn’t give a rusty rat if they were caught or not.

MSG Eric

I’ll take the second option for 1000 Alex.

Poetrooper

There’s a third option, Perry, and that is that the campaign, like every other aspect of the Clinton empire is a thoroughly corrupt and criminal operation.

What should be pointed out here to every liberal Hillary supporter is that it is the smallest among them that the Clinton campaign selected to defraud, those who could barely afford to give yet did. And that decision was very deliberate as these folks are the most vulnerable and helpless to fight back as long as the campaign cleverly keeps the totals under the triggering investigative amount.

The campaign will try to paint it as an accident but, in my opinion, this was a very cold-hearted deliberate attempt to screw the little guy the very people the Clinton’s always profess to care about.

Yeah, right!

Perry Gaskill

No argument here, PT. My prior comment was based on the same implied assumptions.

One of the strange things about this story is that it originally popped up in Minnesota back in March, and was reported by local station KARE. The NY Observer piece is apparently a follow-up which indicates the charge fraud has continued, but gives no indication anybody such as the FEC has done anything about it. It raises the question: Is the Observer guilty of vague reporting, or is it getting stonewalled by those who are supposed to be minding the store?

Bill M

“…is it getting stonewalled by those who are supposed to be minding the store?”

Sadly, the likely answer: Yes. This is their pattern; this is how they roll.

” … the campaign, like every other aspect of the Clinton empire is a thoroughly corrupt and criminal operation.”

Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner!!!!

Bill and Hillary – the modern day Ahab and Jezebel … may they enjoy the very same fate.

desert

Hey, she was just doing them a favor! Taking a bunch of their money now, so that when she takes all of it if elected, they won’t be so shocked!

Silentium Est Aureum

And just think how they’ll treat you if they get into power.

CC Senor

They do have a way with the English language don’t they? Has anyone ever done such parsing of statements as the Clintons?. (NSFW?)

MSG Eric

I’m sure Bill is still saying that to women at least once a week. Though they’re probably a bit more expensive than 20 dollars each time.

MSG Eric

The fact that Hillary stands in front of the American people and will still say, “See? Even the FBI Director said I was telling the truth!” when she clearly wasn’t, tells me they don’t even care if they are caught.

She even explained away the markings that were missed, “well for classified documents there are big huge words at the top and bottom, these didn’t have them so….”

I think they are to the point where they don’t give a shit either way. Even if there’s a threat of potential jail time, they make a phone call and suddenly it goes away. They probably literally pay a team of lawyers 1000 bucks a minute to work shit in their favor.

http://dailycaller.com/2016/09/16/just-5-7-percent-of-clinton-foundation-budget-actually-went-to-charity/

“The Clinton Foundation spent a hair under $91.3 million in 2014, the organization’s IRS filings show. But less than $5.2 million of that went to charitable grants.

That number pales in comparison to the $34.8 million the foundation spent on salaries, compensation and employee benefits.”

The Other Whitey

Do we even want to know how much lined the pockets of Blowjob Willie and Das Hildabeast?

11B-Mailclerk

ALL

The charity work actually done was support of a broke and displaced senior couple from Arkansas.

I believe politicians like the Clintons and Obama have what I call, the “Emperor’s Syndrome”. The belief that if they are not now the Emperor, they should and perhaps will be and therefore, whatever they do is sanctioned and approved by Divine Edict, making them a de facto Emperor in the sense of their having a self sanctioned divine calling. I truly believe the Clintons think they are divinely appointed to “rule” and not govern. They believe they are not only better than all others, but appointed to rule those lesser than them. Mao Tse-tung had it. So did Hitler and Stalin. So this minor matter of stealing from those foolish enough to support them financially in the first place, is their not only their right, it is their obligation in order to gain the control necessary to eventually bring these lesser serfs under their total control. IMHO

CC Senor

Something like this perhaps?

MSG Eric

So what you’re saying is all this time Bill has been implementing Primae Noctis?

No wonder so many women haven’t come out to say anything.

CC Senor

Bill was more like “The War Lord” and droit du seigneur.

Found This on Facebook it has a rig to it
??????????
I hear that train a comin’
It’s rollin’ round the bend.
Gonna pick up Mrs. Clinton
And take her to the pen.
They’ll have her coronation
Make her cell block queen
Hillary for prison
two thousand and sixteen
They’ve got an orange pants suit
Hangin’ on the wall
And a cell for Bubba Willie
Just a little down the hall.
We’ll put ‘em in the big house
Lock them up inside.
Unless a whole lot of witnesses
Commit suicide.
Remember James McDougal
And 20 or 30 more
About to testify, they found ‘em dead upon the floor.
Now they’re pilin’ up the bodies
Like they did back then
They want back in the White House
Here we go again.
Glue the china to the table
Nail the table to the floor
Lock up all the silver
‘fore they haul it out the door
White trash in the White House
Beats all I’ve ever seen.
Hillary for prison
two thousand and sixteen.
