Monday morning feel good stories

| August 29, 2016

Jamal Randolf forced his way into a home in Sioux City, Iowa. He assaulted one of the residents there. Another resident stabbed Randolf who was taken to the hospital with a non-life-threatening wound.

In Tampa, Florida, two home invasion suspects, Leanys Rodriquez, 27, and Carlos Anthony Rodriguez, 28, were injured by gunfire from a resident during the commission of their crime and they’re being treated for their non-life-threatening injuries.

Kevyn T. Rideout, 25 invaded a home in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania with his sawed-off shotgun. He got into an altercation with the resident, during which time, the shot gun discharged – neither were injured. Rideout ran out the backdoor where a neighbor was waiting with a golf club. You can see the results in the mugshot at the link.

The neighbor was “puttering” around?
Occasionally, a knife or a golf club is an acceptable weapon, but having a gun ups the odds that you will survive being attacked.

If I were one to randomly rob homes, I’d stay away from Tampa. I’d say that there are plenty of well armed and well trained home owners given that it’s the home of SOCOM and SOCCENT.

Obviously the neighbor who clubbed Mr Rideout must have used either an iron, or hit him with the shaft. If the neighbor had used a wood, it would have left a much bigger set of marks.

Insert your own jokes here. There’s plenty of comedy gold just lying around.

It looks like a 6 iron, too much loft for a 9.

Generally speaking, one shouldn’t bring a golf club to a gun fight……
