Saturday morning feel good stories

| August 27, 2016

An intruder in Oxford, Iowa was shot by a homeowner during the commission of his crime, but I’m not subscribing to the North Liberty Leader to get the details.

The other day we talked about the shooting in Union County, North Carolina of 17-year-old Marquies Rason Waters when he broke into a home by the homeowner. The local prosecutor and the sheriff were in agreement that the homeowner did nothing illegal in making Waters DRT.

A New Jersey grand jury cleared a Allamuchy Township woman when she killed 24-year-old Gage Theard who broke into her home back in March. He was killed when he tried to rekindle their relationship and she was resistant to the idea.

Huntington Beach, California police were chasing a suspect involved in a domestic dispute. The suspect made a U-turn and fired at one officer – he was struck in the chest by a bullet, but he was unharmed – saved by his badge. Eventually, the suspect died in a fiery crash after careening down an embankment.

Breaking into homes is a sign that one feels that he has lived long enough and wants to take a dirt nap. There are plenty of homeowners, concerned about what is theirs, that will oblige these losers.

Gun Ownership is at an all time high in the USA, one would think that makes it more hazardous than ever to embark on a life of crime, but for the most part, criminals have never been known to be a smart bunch.

Civilwarrior

Darwin Akhbar, indeed. And may I just add, Durka bin salam. Baka laka Darwin jihad!!

Ex-PH2

Uh, what–? Someone in New Jersey defended herself with deadly force and is innocent of a crime? Holy cow pies! Sanity has slipped through the cracks in that ridiculous state! Next thing you know, people will be allowed to pump their own gas!

This is overwhelming! I need a hug!

Jon The Mechanic

Except for the fact that the missus would be VERY upset at me, I would give you a hug.

Anyone besides Sarc want to give Ex a hug?

Kinda Old ET1

Just a hug for Ex-PH2?

I bet that officer’s bullet dented badge is going to get framed in a shadow box. A friend of mine with whom I served was shot at one night years ago while thwarting an attempted 2:00 AM burglary at a local supermarket…bullet went through the windshield at face level, but fragmented, part of it went down into his right thigh, but his not so pretty face was unscathed. The PD had the holed section if windshield cut out, and they framed it for him. Still hangs in his home today.
