Thursday morning feel good stories
A homeowner in Kansas City, Kansas spotted a thief breaking into cars. The homeowner secured his weapon and put an end to the malfeasance. The thief is expected to recover from his wounds.
In Clayton, Delaware, another homeowner heard someone breaking into his home. He fired at the criminal who ran unharmed into a cornfield.
A homeowner in Fort Myers, Florida wrestled a gun from an intruder and shot him with the thief’s own weapon. The condition of the criminal is unknown.
David sends us a link to a story from Houston, Texas where a father and son were in their backyard and they were approached by two armed thieves who attempted to rob the father and son. The son pulled out his gun and shot both. One of the criminals was DOT (dead over there) at the hospital. The other is expected to recover.
In Harvey, Louisiana a store clerk got into an altercation with a shoplifter and shot him in the leg. The thief escaped on a bicycle.

Thieves, trying to take our essential goods can be stopped as we read here.
The Ft. Myers homeowner couldn’t possibly be anyone we know. This one was healthy enough to do what needed to be done without putting on his bicycle helmet, safety vest, and riding away from danger on his bicycle, leaving his wife to fend for herself.
Just spewed coffee! Awesome.
The wounded Texas thug will surely be charged with capital murder via the law of parties. Way to go dumbass.
Here is today’s TAH “good citizen batting line” analysis. I’m excluding the FL incident from the analysis that follows as it appears to have been a drug deal gone bad, with no honest parties involved.
Today was a good “day at the plate” for honest armed citizens. We had a total of five perps. Of those, one perp no longer needs oxygen; two are wounded and in custody; one is wounded and on the run; and another is unwounded but looking for a new set of skivvies. In baseball parlance that’s 5-for-5 with 1 HR and 2 other extra base hits. Quite a good day indeed.
Hope both parties in the FL incident enjoy their time with Bubba, Thor, Julio, and Tiny.
Hondo, I always look forward to the daily box score! I wish we could get all home runs everyday!
So you can just up and shoot someone breaking into cars in KC? THAT’S where I want to retire!
