Flags at the DNC

| July 27, 2016

The Daily Caller noticed that there were no American flags waving at the Democrat National Convention the first night. Our buddy, Tania found a North Korean flag;

Some Che stuff with the Bolivian colors (where Che’s last revolution ended);

CoUIPo3WgAEoDJv

Someone even found a Palestinian flag;

We should probably be thankful that there are no ISIS flags.

You’ll be happy to know that after it was pointed out to them, they brought some flags out for the second night, according to Daily Caller. You, know, they had to be told.

Fine. If they detest their own country this much, they can move to another planet and let the rest of us get on with our lives.

Ex-PH2

Excuse me, ‘conference flag’, Rambo??? Are you that stoopid???

desert

Amen..if they can find a planet that will accept the vermin!

Dapandico

DNC needed one American Flag for the Pledge of Allegiance after the teleprompter was loaded.

Also it is the Democrat not Democratic convention. Media trying to rename the Dems, same as illegal alien is now an immigrant.

D

Nope. You’ve heard it misused so much, you now think it’s the “Democrat Party.” The official name, whether we like it or not, is “Democratic Party” and “Democratic National Convention.” It’s also not the “Republic Party” or “Publican Party.”

Perry Gaskill

A “Publican Party” is when you’re down at the saloon, and the owner decides to buy a few rounds for the house.

Whisky for my men, beer for my horses, barkeep…

D

I’d rather drink with the horses, ha ha. I salute anyone who can stomach whisky. I am not one of those men.

Sapper3307

Do the NORKS have a delegate for Hildabeast at the convention? And do they donate to the Klintoke foundation?

Dapandico

Giving fashion tips to Thunder Thighs.

UpNorth

Well, of course. She has the same tailor as NDtBF.

Terrorologist

Ouch!

Well UpNorth, enjoy your IRS audit…

Graybeard

How my father got the IRS audits to stop: we moved OOC for a job (oil industry). He invited the IRS auditor to drop by when he was in town…

And that was in the 1950s. This IRS audit BS has been going on a loooooong time. My father and grandmother had each, at one time or another, managed to hack off some IRS demagogues, and were audited for years through the 1940s-1960s.
I suspect Dad may have had some comment about an IRS auditor who’d not served in WWII… but he could be somewhat impatient with fools in any circumstances.

UpNorth

Been there, done that. If they can find any additional money, point it out.

Lucky

If you want to mess with these types, Rogue Dynamics sells a Che shirt, with a sight reticle over Che, saying :We kill your idols” on the shirt. They also have a rainbow Gadson flag patch with the words Shoot Back on it

Veritas Omnia Vincit

I’m thinking the Che with the reticle is going to be a purchase, thanks for the heads up…my brother in law will be very unhappy with me…which is a perfect reason to buy it…

Lucky

No worries Brother!

Thunderstixx

That must be a fun family reunion !!!

The Other Whitey

I’ll be looking that up myself.

Remember, “Don’t shoot! I’m Che! I’m worth more alive than dead!”

Poetrooper

Might make a very thoughtful Christmas present for him.

Assuming he celebrates Christmas…

Graybeard

If not, April 1 is a good holiday….

Veritas Omnia Vincit

Why did the lack of US flags not surprise me?

Oh yeah now I remember, it’s because the dems are anti-US fucksticks…

Ex-PH2

Is that guy in the first picture wearing a red dress?

Red hair and red skanky chinbeard just do NOT go with a red dress, fer Pete’s sake!

The Other Whitey

Standing under a Norkie flag. The Norks would shoot him on sight. Oh, the irony.

PSYOP_Guy

Unless you’re Dennis Rodman

Sj

I get tired of politicians using the flag as a prop. Covering the stage with dozens is disrespectful imho. Dim has 10 so rep has 12 and the escalation starts.

1 says it all, i think. But the dims had none…that says it all.

JimV

The DNC does not want to offend the illegals?

nbcguy54ACTUAL

Especially the one they had on stage talking.

The Other Whitey

If anybody says this wasn’t a big deal, well, that tells you what you need to know about them.

A Proud Infidel®™

Maybe because the DNC’s top honchos didn’t want to “offend’ their fellow commies, anarchists and hippies?

Blaster

It’s really too bad that there wasnt a spry Korean War vet on hand to beat his ass and then stuff that f’n commie flag down his throat.

Same for the rest of those America hating POSs.

Why can’t half of his country see what it is that the left stands for?

Tania

As he freely speaks at a rally. I think this will answer the flag question regarding this convention.

Ex-PH2

Gee, I saw a ‘Hillary for Prison’ poster in that group of photos. I do wonder what that meant. And another one: RIP Democracy. Hmmmm…. do you think those people were protesting against shrillary? Or am I reading too much into it?

Blaster

I sure hope your not reading too much into it.

There are always some fringe groups causing problems, and the fringe is right where they should be receiving their beat-downs ( for displaying a NORK flag, Che flag or any other flag besides the American flag)

NEC338x

All the ambulatory Korean War vets were amazed to find the appointments that they’ve been waiting months for were schedule for this week by the VA “Health” Administration. /sarc

MCPO NYC USN Ret.

Day # 1 at DNC no US Ensign.

Day # 2 at DNC during parading of colors, flag was improperly held, dipped and positioned during Pledge of Allegiance (which was on a tele-prompter) and during the National Anthem (which was belted out by a very talented blind fellow). I suspect he was only one of a few who knew the words.

Note to organizers … know flag protocol!

The Flag of the United States of America ALWAYS is positioned on the flag’s own right! Even after parading of the colors, that is why reversing orders must be called.

But for the DNC, I guess they just asked anyone who thought they knew what they were doing and said, “sounds good to me”.

Ex-PH2

Well, last time, they had Russian war ships in pictures, so they clearly don’t know their behinds from a hole in the wall. And I don’t think they really want to know.

AskaMarine

Well, this is interesting:

“Mississippi flag taken down at Democratic convention”:

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/07/27/mississippi-flag-taken-down-at-democratic-convention2.html

“The Mississippi state flag will not fly at the Democratic National Convention.

It was removed from its posts inside and outside the arena, as the Mississippi Democratic delegation and protesters agreed that it was offensive. The flag features the stars and bars symbol of the Confederacy in the upper left corner of the rectangular flag that also has three stripes — one red, one white and one blue.

Vallena Greer, a Democratic delegate from Mississippi, told the Washington Examiner she saw the flag on the Mississippi delegation’s post inside the convention hall and immediately took it down.

‘I just lost it. I snatched it, I threw it under the seat,” Greer said. “I didn’t want to see it, nobody else from Mississippi wanted to see that.'”

A Proud Infidel®™

I remember when Mississippi had a voter referendum of the ballot whether or not to change their State Flag in the mid-90’s and it went DOWN in flames by a nice big margin. I’m sure that’s another reason libmaggots don’t like it!

Bill M

Can’t let the peons be heard. Who the H*ll do they think they are? “Everyone” knows the Dem elite know what’s best for them mouth breathers. /sarc

Contrary to popular but erroneous belief, the “stars & bars” is not what is in fact the square battle flag of the Confederate Army of Northern Virginia. The “stars and bars” was the first national flag of the Confederacy; it consisted of an upper left square field of blue with a circle of 13 stars imposed upon a rectangle of three alternating horizontal stripes (bars) of red, white, and red. The battle flag was subsequently put in the upper left corner of 2nd and third Confederate national flags.
