Riots in Albuquerque
In Albuquerque, New Mexico, folks got their panties wadded up over Americans speaking their minds and turned to rioting at a Donald Trump rally, according to Fox News;
Hours after Trump and some 4,000 of his supporters left the Albuquerque Convention Center, approximately 100 demonstrators remained in downtown. Smoke grenades were used in an effort to disperse the crowd, while protesters threw rocks, plastic bottles, burning T-shirts and other items at officers.
Albuquerque police said on Twitter late Tuesday that “several” officers were being treated for injuries as a result of being hit by rocks. At least one person was arrested.
Inside the Trump rally, demonstrators shouted, held up banners and resisted removal by security officers. The banners included the messages “Trump is Fascist” and “We’ve heard enough.”

As Trump spoke, several hundred protesters outside the convention center rushed police, trying to storm the building. When they were blocked, they lobbed rocks at cops, who reportedly tear-gassed the crowd. A glass door at the convention center was shattered by what police later said was a shot from a pellet gun.
If I didn’t know better, I’d think that the Trump campaign organized these riots to scare Americans into voting for him, because that will be the end result.
If you watch the video at the Fox link, you can see the rioters waving Mexican flags while this dickhead burns an American flag. Which country is holding an election in November, anyway?

Citizens in this country have the right to vote and support their candidate, yet there are those who want to stop the process from working. All I can do is shake my head in disbelieve.
I wonder how many of those protesters actually vote and take a legitimate part in the democratic process.

I am sick and tired of this bullshit. According to what I read of the violence, ONE arrest was made. One. And the police brass or PR people were on twitter or some such thing downplaying the riot. The strategy is to handle these bastards with kid gloces so as not to appear too harsh and upset them. No wonder this sort of stuff means more willing voters for Trump.

Actually, Mexico is having a Pres election too. I travel to MX in an RV and just came back from 2.5 months. Wonderful people and beautiful country. BUT, the people we see there are not these dickheads. We met a lot of former illegals. They came to work and then go back home.
BTW, we, as a tourist, could not be anywhere around a political activity…citizens only. Get caught and you’re kicked out. And they are serious. I’ve always said we should simply translate and adopt Mexico’s immigration laws. Lib’s heads would explode. Have to prove income, no felons, can’t work, loooong process, deport if commit a crime, border fence on their southern border….etc.

That’s a good idea. There was an article last weekend in the local paper about a bunch of brand-new Americans, with a photo of them holding their naturalization documents. They were literally from all over the world, including India, Japan, and Ecuador.

It is past time to stop letting demonstrators run wild but we don’t know if this is like Baltimore where the mayor with an agenda stopped the police from taking action. Burning the American flag in our county should require a mandatory on the spot ass kicking.
Citizens have a right and a duty to protest, It’s part of who we are.
However, when your “protest” becomes a mob of screaming, rock throwing animals hell-bent on disrupting the 1st amendment rights of someone you disagree with, you’re nothing but a bunch of spoiled brats throwing a temper tantrum. And you deserve every bit of the spanking you get.

As disturbing as this riot surely is to all of us here on Team TAH, a protest like this is actually relatively small stuff when compared to what awaits us in late summer/early fall of 2016.
I say this because it’s a virtual foregone conclusion that the real fun is going to start just prior to the actual election, when the Democrats send out the “Occupy” mobs again in an attempt to disrupt the election itself.

I think a lot of us here aren’t exactly what you might call “fervent” Trump supporters…I found the whole primary process amazing because of what he was doing and nobody on high was considering he was energizing the electorate while denigrating the leadership as out of touch…
Trump has the right to speak his mind as do those who disagree, none of them have the right to respond with violence however to an ideological conflict of policy ideas as to how best to correct the path of the US to improve the nation.
As is typical of the left they cry like little bitches when confronted but resort to thuggery to press their viewpoint with violence. Well lefties, so far you’ve been poking the bear and it’s only responded with a couple of simple warning strikes…keep pressing and you just might get what you want. Be aware however that a great many people that wish for something find out when they get it, well it wasn’t exactly what they expected.
I can’t think of a better way to make a point than by burning Old Glory or pelting police with rocks and bottles. The point I refer to is not the one intended by the Mexicans, their apologists, their sympathizers, and those anarchists and revolutionary types who stoke the flames and encourage the violence. It is that Trump represents a threat to these lawless bastards. And that point will win over many to his camp who are not all ready there.

It’s interesting how “fascist” has become the current pejorative du jour to describe the Trump campaign. Almost as if it came from DNC central scripting or Hillary’s astroturf factory. In addition, those using the term seem to have no problem altering the definition to mean anybody with strong opinions and without disdain for American sovereignty.
Also ironic is that those inciting violence and throwing rocks to disrupt Trump speeches are taking a page straight from the National Socialist playbook in Germany circa 1932.

Remember all those times that the TEA Party, NRA, and similar groups rioted and assaulted police officers at rallies for democrat candidates? Yeah, me neither.
For some reason, I ended up on the email list for a progressive group in NM. A couple of days ago I got an email giving details and suggestions about how I could help disrupt Trump’s visit.
And I’ll bet that mailer originated somewhere within the Democrat party organization. The tool who organized the Vets against Trump protest in NYC didn’t have enough sense to keep his stories straight and finally admitted his protest was organized and funded by the Clinton campaign.
What I noticed in the news video last night was that a couple of the protesters were wearing gas masks, as if they knew exactly what would happen. Glad to know that they were prepared for any eventuality. Was someone going to pay their fines if they got arrested?
When the conventions come around in the fall, it will be interesting to see what happens outside the convention buildings, never mind on the convention floor.

I’m not a Trump fan (voted for Cruz in our primary) but the actions of these dickheads is making it that much easier for me to pull the lever for him come November.

There was a news story on the mid-day news that a protest against Trump in Southern California started peacefully enough, but quickly turned into violence, over nothing. And why? It isn’t going to keep me or anyone else away from voting.

I can’t stand Donald Trump. I think he’s a shameless opportunity completely devoid of any principles. That said, I can’t see a better way to motivate people like me to vote for the man than to continue rioting and acting like third-world hooligans at his rallies. If that’s the alternative then yeah, give me the con man.

I experienced the recall of Scott Walker in Wisconsin a few years ago and the tactics they are using with Trump are exactly the same ones they used with Walker.
The unions and every left wing organization and every stinking puke in any of those organizations put their all into the recall and were absolutely convinced the day before the election that Walker was history.
The election was held and they got their asses kicked out of not only the governors office but set a record for the turnout of conservative minded individuals.
They lost by about 10 points if memory serves me correctly.

The puke in Wisconsin were horrible, they made death threats, took over the capitol and the Madison PD and the Capitol Police also just let them go without any arrests or attempts to stop the shitass behavior.
